[attr="class","fraceshighllyrics"] Mikoto was the replacement Angel of Death for Zidane and Kuja. However, Kuja destroyed Terra before she could fulfill any of her roles as an Angel. Now, she is in search of the remnants of her people and a new purpose. Unused to a living planet, she is doing her best to adapt to the strange customs of the people of Zephon.
Confusing Mikoto for her counterpart, Zidane, Quina rushes to Mikoto. Quina softens when Mikoto asks about the purpose of overeating sustenance and how friends are made. Quina ultimately shares a meal with her and the other inhabitants, while providing Qu wisdom on food and friends.
[attr="class","fraceshighlthread"] Stay Wild Moon Child[break] WITH Gau [break] At the Wanderwood
Mikoto finds a strange humanoid with bestial qualities. Despite his claw and fangs, he teaches her how to make flower crowns and some herbology. They eventually get tasked by moogle's to help them carry Kupo Nuts, in which it sparks a conversation on friendship. Gau and Mikoto are friends.
Sensing the presence of another genome, Mikoto reached out to him to meet with her. Kuja, confused and a little surprised, agreed to leave the skies to join her in the forest. She is very pleased to meet him, though his confusion and annoyance made it difficult for her to read him. Though she is one of his victims whose home was destroyed, she thanked him for breaking the chains Garland cast on them and bringing hope for growth to the genomes. He explained that it was not his intent. Though it feels as though he is bugging her, his actions suggest otherwise. He budged on taking her under his wing and teaching her. He also agreed to take her to one of the living cities, so that she can at least not be an eyesore for him (and possibly reflect on her own self-expression). He even kept her from harm from the broken spirits she seems to be fond of in the forest.
Mikoto meets a vibrant lady named Jessie during her mission to find ribbons. Jessie kindly helps Mikoto understand how clothing stores work, how to chose clothing, and even how to barter. They tried on dresses together and selected the proper ribbons for their outfits. Even a pretty accessory was chosen for Kuja. Mikoto is unsure why the woman helped her or even gave her a written note at the end to find her later... but she is happy Jessie was there to help. She will most certainly see her plays to repay her.
Mikoto meets Zidane's Gaian woman. She finds this person rubs her the wrong way, especially the way she talks of Kuja and Garland. Because of this, Mikoto finds it hard to listen to her and wants to end the encounter quickly. Garnet tries to hang in there by helping Mikoto with her makeup and perfume shopping, but feels overwhelmed by memories of Kuja and worried about the possible harm that could befall Mikoto. Unable to dedicate their attention on the other, or understand each other, the encounter ends roughly.
Upset by the Gaian female, Mikoto isn't ready to return to her predecessor. Instead, she finds herself hiding from the overwhelming masses atop a building. But she soon fines that the Zephonians do not take kindly to her being up there. Cecil, thinking she was in trouble, makes his way up the building to help her down. He finds that she was not in danger at all, but simply trying to work things out for herself. He stays with her and eventually coaxes her down. They talk by the ocean of the striking commonalities of their histories. And in sharing with each other, find that other learned something about themselves in the process.
Kuja takes Mikoto to Torensten's children's park, Plaisir de Magicka, in hopes to begin her magic lessons. Mikoto does indeed learn magic with his tutelage, gaining a basic understanding of her emotions with the fundamentals she needs to at least cast the spell. Though her displays of magic are unimpressive, she wears herself out and takes a break with Kuja in the center plaza with terrible ice cream and mediocre entertainment. Mikoto gave Kuja his gift and tries to speak a little with him about her experiences in the city. Then, upon their final lesson, they find breaking the machines here to test Mikoto's magical limits have incited the wrath of the park security (as well as the patrons). Kuja suggests they quickly leave, calling upon his silver dragon. They make their getaway and head toward Aljana.
Mikoto senses Kuja is ready for his next lessons. He not only better equips Mikoto with a rapier of his making, but created an arena for her with the appropriate level of monsters. She seemed struggled for a time, unable to find her will to fight. At least, until Kuja enters the arena himself. She seems to find her strength when it is to protect him from monsters. When she explains this to Kuja, he is upset about her mention of the Iifa tree and her not wanting him to feel so hurt again. Being narrowly successful with each battle, Kuja - embarrassed by her lack of ability, disappointed at her lack of failure, and offended by her words - decides it is time to return home for the day. Mikoto hesistates. She doesn't know if it is better for him if she leaves or if she follows. Seeing that he did not leave her behind and realizing there is no where else she'd rather be, decides to follow along. She is filled with gratitude for what he did for her today and voices an apology for saying something that hurt him.
[attr="class","fraceshighlthread"] The New Call[break] WITH Grudge [break] In the Headstone Forest
A strange object from the sky landed in Headstone forest. Mikoto's curiousity caused her to look into the matter. At it's center a Tonberry hatched. He call's himself the World's Grudge. She assists him on a safe passage out, helping him avoid the ghosts of the forest.
[attr="class","fraceshighlthread"] The Origin of Love[break] WITH Kuja [break] In Torensten [Voyage De Amour]
Kuja and Mikoto return to Torensten for a strange festival that bases its origin in love. Kuja accompanies her to a play - Romeo and Juliet. After the show, both genomes feel odd about the performance. Neither can place a finger on their homesickness. She reminds Kuja that they are not alone, they are with each other. It leaves him in a pensive mood.
[attr="class","fraceshighlthread"] My Dearest Angel[break] WITH Kuja[break] In Torensten
Mikoto and Kuja are both agitated over different reasons. Mikoto over her worry for Kuja and his health. Kuja over his letter from Hilda and the introspective questions she left him with. The two genomes do their best to express their feelings and vent to the other. Unfortunately, neither knows how to understand human emotions - their own or others. Even though little was resolved, both leave feeling a little better after the rough start of the encounter. They agree to do research into what is causing Kuja to not be immortal.
[attr="class","fraceshighlthread"] ROCK'EM SOCK'EM ROBOTS![break] WITH Cindy [break] In Kahiko Valley
Mikoto finds an underground bunker with ancient medical equipment. Unfortunately, it is lacking a power source. Kuja reads notes of her research on how to step his cells from aging. As they explore the ruins, they have a spat which opens them both up to their trauma. After a bit of coaxing, Mikoto returns to the entrance to nap while Kuja makes the way safe.

They are led to a beautiful chamber dedicated to the gods. They are left to meditate. It is then the gods whisper to them that they were chosen to fight back the evil of this world. Though vague, Zell seemed more than eager to fight and hopefully find his way home. Zell also finally regained his memories. Yay! =DD He remembers Quistis now. Quistis will do whatever she can to aid him, though she wonders if she wants to return home.
Quistis happens upon a new town and asks someone for a little help. Caius does show her to a hotel, expressing he did not know much about the town. He attempts to recruit her for the Dragonblades. Cissnei is an orphan raised by the Shinra Electric Power Company to be a Turk - someone who cleans the company's dirty laundry. However, she and the other Turks rebelled against the company when the executives attempted to kill them due to being a liability for all the secrets they held as well as not following orders to kill their old leader when he defected to save his daughter. Long story short, Cissnei is now an ex-Turk running an investigation's agency in Sonora.

I was there helping the Turks evacuate from Meteor in Midgar, as instructed. Then, there was a rush of what appeared to be Lifestream coming from all directions. It swept me away. I blacked out. [break][break] I woke up in a forest not of Gaia. Battered and bruised, I seemed to suffer from hallucinations and disorientation in these woods. I saw people in black suits in the shadows. I thought maybe it was one of us, but I was wrong. My memories appear to be foggy. [break][break] Luckily, two females found me in the woods. One named Seven, I think, my memory is still playing tricks on me and another by the name of Krile. Both wore styles of clothing unlike those on Gaia (See attached photos). Seven was urging us to return to the nearest village and offered to guide us. She appeared to be carrying supplies, though her mission was to kill specific monster in the woods. After a skirmish with coeurls, Seven left. [break][break] Krile preferred to stay in the woods to find specific purple herbs to help her friend get his memory back. Krile appears to have a crystal that gives her different abilities base on her preferred need. During my time assisting her looking for these herbs, I watched her switch roles. Once did to use white magic – used to heal my injuries. The second time, she used the crystal for ninja abilities to sprint faster and use smoke bombs to capture the herb, which turned out to be a purple mandragora. However, the mandragora species here seem vastly different than the Gaian species. Perhaps we should look more into these crystals? ShinRa company may have a use for them with our military personnel. [break][break] In conclusion, we found these herbs. It was a sentient man-shaped plant. I think I discovered the name to be mandrake. Most are green, but some rare one’s are purple. When I am recovered and reoriented, I can lead us back to the spot. I lost track of the girl Krile in the cloud of the nearby city, Provo. A resourceful town that reminds me a bit of Kalm, but more developed.

Tales of Heroes[break] WITH Denzel, Caius Dragelion, Seven, and Unnamed Captain Host.[break] at Provo[break]
Provo is an interesting new city in that there appears to be quite a bit of technology here, though it still feels less modern than what ShinRa has to offer. There are plenty of farm labor and agricultural exports to be invested in. [break][break] I visited a Provo tavern to take shelter from the rain, as did many others. Here, the Captain offered a contest to the one who offered the best story, but fell asleep drunk, unable to judge or handle the prize. I stayed, hoping to gather some intel. [break][break] I ran into Denzel who is a familiar young man. He seemed shy about his story, but what little he told showed he was orphaned and survived Meteorfall. It sounds like "Geostigma" was a common illness after the Meteorfall events. However, I only have a recollection of Meteorfall itself, not after. I am unable to confirm this information, but it appears Denzel is from Gaia like myself. Denzel seemed to have black blotches on his forehead that bothered him. He seemed also afraid of the name Ardyn, and the mention of the Starscourge – an illness that seems to exhibit similar symptoms of the black blotches on the boy, except it eventually daemonfied the person. Daemonfied meaning they turned essentially into something like a mindless ghoul. I meant to follow him out, but I lost him. [break][break] Caius spoke of his own journey here. He had a tragedy with his family orchestrated by an assassin who had a grudge against them. Despite joining bandit life and fighting off the terrors that lurked in the literal night, he survived how he could. These night terrors worsened when Ardyn brought expedited the Starscourge process. The king eventually returned to his people with hope of driving the darkness and its creatures at bay. He joined the Kingsglaive to assist where he could. He eventually was taken away from all of it and was pulled here, to Zephon, where he was forced to confront the assassin who daemonfied his family and forced Caius to fight them. The assassin got away and Caius was consumed with vengeance until a woman, Celes, calmed him and changed his life. They eventually founded the Dragonblades, named after their blades and the dragon, Vordun, they found. It sounded like a fairy tale out of the book, but daemons might be something we need to look out for. As well as these, Dragonblades. [break][break] I too spoke my story of betrayal to the ShinRa company and the story of Zirconiade. I may have spoke too much, but I wanted to try to encourage the others to speak. [break][break] The girl I believed to be named Seven was there, but she did not tell any of her story. Her motives are still unclear.
There is something dark going on in the Headstone Forest. Something inside it plays with people’s minds and makes them hallucinate. Even worse, the towns people that live nearby it are complaining of losing cargo and even their women to something mysterious in this forest. They claim they are getting attacked by iron giants and goblins. Despite the unnerving atmosphere, I decided to take on the job of finding out where the missing people went.
[break][break]
I keep seeing the phantoms of what appears to be you or Tseng…or another Turk in a suit. It bewitched me and soon I followed it headlong into what appeared to be an iron giant. A black-haired male named Zack Fair was able to come to my aid before the giant could bear down its sword on me. Soon, the blond-gentleman from Provo appeared and used his abilities to fight the giant as well. He appears to have odd warping abilities that allow him to go from one place to another with the aid of throwing his weapon. The Iron giant also does not appear to move by any mechanical means. It simply appeared to be nothing by magic and armor.
[break][break]
Soon after our fight with the giant and the goblins, everyone appeared to experience hallucinations. Caius saw a woman, Celes. Zack saw Angeal and chased after him. And I saw another Turk, but this time I knew I would be walking into the danger, hoping to find the missing women. However, all I saw were the mistakes of my past. All the kills I had done on behalf of ShinRa. The ones that were deserved and no deserved. I broke and decided that this was my living hell. Despite the aid of Caius, I fell under a demon’s spell.
[break][break]
Caius appeared to be fighting his own battle and seeing his own hell.
And Zack? He appeared to be swallowed by the woods.
[break][break]
When I reawakened, I was inside a small cabin where a painting of a woman came to life and joined the demon, Chadarnook. They claimed that one sacrifice was left and then the woman in the painting could be free. There was a struggle and I was able to finish them and foil their plot. The house was burned down with the remains of the painting. It appeared Josh had been locked inside too and narrowly made his escape from the fire. It was then the bodies of the missing women were cut down from the trees and placed on a makeshift shed to be returned to their families. The woods, though not safe, were a little safer. The ghosts of the girls also provided me a strange stone. I will investigate its uses later.
Cissnei responded to a request for help at Metaia temple. She was joined by an interesting group of people: a stubborn shrew, a magic wielding clown, and a boy with little confidence. The temple was under attack by dark magic that tainted this 'earth crystal'. This crystal needed to be cleansed in order to prevent disaster. Sounded simple enough. Hoards of undead were fought and cut down to get into the interior of the temple. Despite trial and error, puzzles and obstacles were overcome by the party and the crystal was found. The entity tainting the crystal promises power and strength. Ashe falls for it, but Cissnei has no taste for such things. She and Arc fight both Ashe and the shadows. Using both the deity's previous blessing and the amulet, Cissnei purified the crystal. Her boon is a magically enhanced sash and knuckles, as well the crystal's warning of other crystals with waning powers that may unleash additional fiends. Sounded interesting.
Emma finds Cissnei singing at the masquerade. The ex-Turks talk about the past and fail to come up with any clues on what this masquerade was about. Emma points out a possible lead and Cissnei pursues it while Emma looks for other clues.
Angeal and Cissnei meet at a blind dating event. Neither expected it to go so well. It seemed Mr. Hewley enjoyed all the teasing. He was rewarded the rest of the night with Cissnei after they beat all the other couples at their game.
Cissnei meets a mysterious man, who reminds her of her past. After creating a blood bath, he states he is in search of a man with similar white hair to his, but longer. She remembers the name "Sephiroth" and she hooks Asael into letting her do this detective work for him. However, Cissnei does not work for free. Asael doesn't carry money, and doesn't like the menial labor offered to him. Aggravated, he states he'll return when he has the incentive to give her.
Cissnei finds herself at yet another scene of a fallen innocent caused by a silver-haired man – Sephiroth. She persuaded Sephiroth to meet her client. In return, she will free him from the Sonoran guard’s watchful eye and provide him with the history of his past. Far from trusting each other, a begrudging deal is made. With the bait laid for Asael, they waited at her investigation agency. However, Cissnei’s entire plan began to spiral control the moment Asael laid eyes on Sephiroth. Where the guards were to confine Asael to the agency and make an arrest for his murders, they were instead laid low by Sephiroth and Asael themselves. The Turks attempted hit and run tactics to subdue Asael. Unfortunately, a portion of the city was laid to waste by these attempts and the duel between Asael and Sephiroth.
