Isabella still didn't understand what was going on either on one end she had just killed her brother and time had gone back to normal and now here she was in a strange world she didn't recognise all she had to get in touch with anyone was her comunication divice.
Isabella wasted little time to bring her comunication device up. "This is Isabella of the Turks can anyone hear me?" She questioned but, no response this was making no diffrence. She tried to get in touch with pepole but, no dice right now this was really bugging her right now to say the least.
Isabella sighed putting her comunication device away this was really starting to bug her right now, she was completly lost and couldn't get a hold of anyone of her comrades. That was three things that she didn't like this at all right now. She needed to find her comrades and quick so she could get to the bottom of everything that had gone down. She wasn't to keen on being teleported out of nowhere, it just it bit hard and made no logical sense either to say the least and lack of logic really bugged Isabella when it came right down to it.
"I've gotta find my comrades so we can figure out what happened and where the president is." Isabella sighed putting her divice in her pocket shaking her head. Standing around and doing nothing was not something she liked doing not to mention, it was going to get her nowhere. She needed to find anyone she would reconise and quick because, she had no idea what this world was going to slap her with. Weither it be a sneak attack or what she needed to get out of here and get back home, if there was anyway for her to get back home that is.
Cissnei had heard word of a monk who needed some help in Metaia Temple. The the temple was being torn apart by earthquakes and choked by decay. No one quite knew why this was happening, but it did not bode well. Cissnei had no real reason to take on this case. It was way out of the area she was in. But there was somehthing in it that she yearned for; A mystery to solve. It was trouble for her to get into and perhaps find excitement. This monotonous life of picking up complaints off a board and solving them just was not cutting it. Every Turk longed for a bit of action and adventure. Otherwise, they just felt stagnant.
Unlike the Headstone forest, this place was beautiful with sunlight and fresh air. It felt like some fairy tale that was too good to be true. Did a devil belong in such a beautiful place? As she was trudging her way through the forest, she heard a voice. It was slightly off the beaten path that led to Metaia. She pushed past the brush and trudged down the flora to see someone trying to talk on the phone. Cissnei noticed it was Isabella and she found terribly excited to see another Turk. “Isabella?” She stated gently as she stumbled out of the bushes. Cissnei was cautious. The Headstone forest made her see things that were not there. But this seemed more real than those illusions.
“PHS does not work here. No signal here. I heard they may work in Sonora, where they have more technology.” She gestured to Isabella’s cellphone. “But I am so glad to see that you are here!” Cissnei seemed to brighten up now that she saw Isabella more closely. “Are you injured?” Cissnei asked more seriously and began to look over Isabella for any injuries. “You seem ok. What is the last thing you remember?”
With her phone not working right now, things were not looking good for the young Turk to say the least. She didn't know what to do but, she had to figure out what the hell was going on and fast. She could defend herself there was no doubt about that but, that didn't mean she didn't want to find her teammates. After having to assassinate her brother, she didn't have a family left, the Turks were the closest thing to a family that she had. All of them were in one-way shape or form close to her and that would never change. Yes, she questioned some missions they were given but, that didn't mean she was going to just up and leave.
However, her luck changed big time when she heard a voice, a lovely voice she remembered all to well as she quickly turned around as a small smile came over her face. It was another Turk! Thank the planet she found someone who knew her the way things were going on right now she was wondering if she would ever find someone that she would recognize! Being lost is never a fun thing as she placed her phone into her pocket when she was told they don't work out here. Greeeeat, just another problem to add to her list of growing problems since she awoke this was honestly getting to the point if she could, Isabella was going to bull her hair out.
"Cissnei, Oh thank the planet I thought I was losing my mind," Isabella said shaking her head with a small smile. "As beautiful as ever I see, Cissnei, no, no Injuries thank god. The last thing I recall is the President had called me into his office with a mission for me, something about my brains being needed for it and then some flash of light hit and boom I'm here." She explained sighing rubbing her temple this whole situation just drove her insane right now and wished she could just go back to her normal life right now. "What about you? You haven't been hurt have you?" She questioned, she didn't look like she had been hurt but, better safe than sorry.
“I can’t say you aren’t losing your mind.” Cissnei gave a small satisfied smile. Her words were teasing. After checking Isabella over, she seemed content that Isabella bore no injuries. However, per usual, Isabella’s mood shifted one moment from aggravation to relief. She was even joking with Cissnei a little bit, which meant that she was not freaking out from her current situtation. A soft sigh of relief left her lips.
“Well, at least you have retained your memories. Many are not so lucky.” She told Isabella seriously. “I am not injured. But I have been here for a couple months now. I am still learning about this place.” She eyed Isabella a little more, before turning to look toward the path. “You might want to come with me. You might get lost in the forest otherwise.” With that, Cissnei turned to push back the beautiful flora to lead back to the sunlit path she was traveling on.
“I wish I could tell you this in a better way, but you are no longer on Gaia anymore. This is the land of Serentestra. You are currently in the Wanderwood.” She gave a soft chuckle, “That probably means nothing to you yet. There have been no signs of the President here. Nor anways to return to Gaia.” She shook her head, and crossed her arms over her chest. She knew this debrief would not be an easy one to take. “For now, we have to adapt to this world. I’ve only located one other Turk recently…But this world messes with your memories and I cannot recall…” Cissnei gave a worried glass. It was not like her to forget something so important.
“But I am glad I found you. I am on my way to Metaia temple. There has been a disturbance there. Perhaps I can use a hand. It is on the other side of this wood.” She pointed in the direction it would be. “If you prefer to reorient yourself, there is civiliazation on the other side of this path. I hope to eventually settle in Sonora and perhaps gain more resources in finding the other ShinRa employees.”
"Greeeat...and to think i was going to go out after the mission.." Isabella grumbled to herself clearly annoyed at this whole situation than again, who could blame her honestly with everything going on and it had happened so quickly the debreifing helped to say the least but, that didn't make it any less annoying than it already was to say the least. Still at least she knew what the hell was going on instead of everything being completely confusing like it was when she first arrived and at least she now knew where to meet the others as she smiled and nodded.
"No sign of the president, comunications not working, id ask what else could go wrong but, knowning my lucky anything that could would at this point!" Isabella stated throwing her hands up in the air with a sigh before placing them in her pockets this was just not her day right now was it. Its like she said she planned on going out with the boys for some freindly fun at the bars and than this crap blows up in her face. She didn't know what the hell to make out of this but, she did know one thing this life was not what she had planned on waking up to.
"Honesly, I might come and help you on that temple before heading to this area ya mentioned myself, I was planing on you know just ending my life in a goodway with a family and all that in Gaia but, if this Sonora can help both help ShinRa and do that I am more than down." Isabella said with a small smile waiting for her fellow Turk's reaction this whole situation sucked there was no denying that but, maybe just maybe things would end up for the better if she played her cards right.
Cissnei listened quietly at Isabella’s repeated complaints. Isabella always seemed to be this way. “Well, technically you did ‘go out’. Just probably now what you were expecting.” Cissnei gave a slight chuckle and a sly smile, before turning to head down the path. “But we can only make the most with what we have.” In Cissnei’s opinion, there was no use crying about something that could not be fixed. The best thing to do was to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward. It was not an easy, but nothing in life ever was.
“I wouldn’t invite bad luck in. Remember your training. Adjust to the situation. If we cannot find the objective of the mission, then we put ourselves in a position to make it possible to do so.” Cissnei spoke calmly, trying to lower the excited energy instead of pushing it more. She soaked in the sun and light as Isabella continued to talk, and Cissnei half listened. “I mean, maybe we’ll return to Gaia one day. No one knows why we were brought here or if we’ll go back. But its best to make do with what we got. From what I hear, Sonora seems the best option for a home away from home, as well as fulfill our objectives.” Cissnei spoke lightly and she took in the scent of the air. It was so much more beautiful here.
Cissnei had nothing going for her on Gaia. She had been excommunicated by ShinRa, and when she had returned, it was only to heart wrenchingly watch as it was destroyed. But it seems, Isabella was taken from a different time. She shoved aside another bit of verdant brush and gave a soft gasp at what she saw past it. It seemed to be a giant living monument, as if the earth itself was given a face. It seemed the bark of a giant tree had come to life and wore a headdress of golden flowers. It stood much taller than her and in front of it was a small pond. “Its beautiful.” Cissnei said, her sense of adventure pushing her forward. She saw Chocobo grazing near the ponds edge across from them. “Maybe we can get a chocobo to give us a lift? Do you have any gyshal greens?”
