PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa gave a small smile. "That's good, right? It's always nice to have someone there for you, even if their numbers are smaller than those against you." AVALANCHE had its fair share of members, but Shinra always had more. If they lost some, they were replaced with more. It had seemed like it would be a never ending battle. Until they had switched their focus to Sephiroth and Shinra became a thing of the past. The were going to go back to it after defeating the silver General, but the Meteor took care of it in the end.
If Tifa could not relate with her own experiences, then she would try to help the person. That's just who she was. She had struggled herself and had came out on top due to the help of others, so she tried to return the favor wherever she could. This was a new world, the things she feared were gone, or so she hoped. Sephiroth had come here from a time that was before the chaos, so maybe it was a new beginning.
"I will do my best then to keep an ear out for those that tell the same stories." She wasn't really sure how she would find Terra though if she were to ever find people like that. "So where do you live anyways?" She hoped that her question wasn't too invasive, but it wasn't like she was asking her full address or anything like that.
Then, Terra's image changed, and just as quickly changed back. Tifa had to blink a couple times. "Did you do that?" She figured she did, since she had spoken about her skills just a bit before. Listening, Tifa looked at the ground. "I know how that feels. The group I fought with used explosives to take out the equipment that was harming the planet. Citizens nearby were harmed in the crossfire, and it's something I live with everyday." Barret said it was for a good cause, though it still didn't really feel like it.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Noctis seemed a tiny bit surprised when she stated she was a fighter and asked what her weapon was. "Um, my fists?" She was nervous now, given the fact that she never really talked about herself with others. It wasn't something she liked to do honestly, it felt selfish to her. Experiences were a different thing, if she could relate to something or use her past to help, she would share that. She never really spoke about her personality or physique. Truth be told, she was a terrible aim with guns, and she wasn't keen on waving around swords.
"That's nice of him. Unfortunate about what happened to his building though." She wasn't quite sure how Noctis or his friend felt towards the people who did that to the building, so she wasn't going to mention she knew one of them right away. His next statement almost had her laughing to be honest. Blonde hobo homewrecker? Cloud would have a field day with that one, though she wasn't sure if he would be a good response or a bad one. "Yeah, I heard that too.." She trailed off a bit.
The conversation seemed to trail off there, and she was glad for that. The last she needed was for someone to not like due to her friends reckless actions. When he stated he might have a spare pole, she gave him a smile. "That sounds wonderful, I'll follow you." Mostly because she didn't know her way around, but also that he probably knew the best spot to fish.
When he asked what brought her all the way there, she looked off into the distance. "I was looking for someone." She kept her answer simple, and he continued on and she looked over at him with a smile. "It's not a problem, I know nothing about fishing, so you'll have to do a lot of talking anyways." This was going to interesting.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa was glad Aerith was here as well, and she hoped with both of them there trying to reason with him, Cloud would come to his senses. She felt his fingers wrap around her hand and she gave a small squeeze. He wanted to keep her and all their friends safe, she knew that. What he didn't seem to realize that they could lose him in the process of it all, and if she was being honest, she'd rather have Sephiroth wandering around than lose Cloud. As long as they all had each other, they could fight whatever came their way.
Aerith asked if Sephiroth remembered Cloud, and she remembered that there was chance the SOLDIER didn't. People were pulled here from different times. Her and Cloud were pulled at relatively the same time, so she was glad they remembered the same things. There was a chance this Sephiroth had no idea who they were. Maybe he remembered everything but wasn't after them anymore and wanted to start over? There were so many different possibilities that it made Tifa's head hurt.
Cloud stated that Sephiroth asked if Cloud knew him. Now the possibilities were that Sephiroth knew that people were pulled at different times was messing with Cloud to piss him off, or he really didn't know Cloud. When he said the part about Angeal, Tifa recognized the name. After Cloud had left for SOLDIER, she would always get as much news about the program as she could, looking for news on Cloud. She knew the names of all the First Class SOLDIERS, and she remembered the name Angeal.
Angeal was defending Sephiroth just as she would defend Cloud. The three First Class SOLDIERs had known each other a long time, and she didn't really blame Angeal for coming to Sephiroth's aide. She wouldn't tell Cloud that though. "Cloud. There is a chance that Sephiroth really didn't know who you were. He could have been taken before everything went to hell." She knew Cloud was in a fragile state, but she wanted to steer his mind away from bloodshed.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
As Terra explained a little more of her past, Tifa gave a nod. "City life is still nice. Outside of it just has, more to offer. I'm sorry you had to be under close observation, but it seemed they cared about you?" That might have been a completely wrong assumption, but Tifa was hoping she was helping. Though, she could be making it worse. Sometimes, she didn't know what to say, but didn't want to say anything at all. That was the life of someone who cared about people a little too much sometimes.
The next thing Terra said made Tifa smile, but also made her turn her attention to the tree she was currently at. "I did have a good childhood. Doing things like this, helping out around town. Growing up was a little like that too, but the happy was less and less over, as it usually is. You get more responsibilities, see things differently as you get older. I still like to hold on to the happy ones though, they're more helpful with getting through the day." That's the only reason she was still standing her today, if she was being honest.
Tifa could sense that Terra wasn't quite comfortable just yet, and Tifa did not hold that against her one bit. Not everyone was like her, able to just talk to really anyone. In truth, Tifa was still rather shy herself. Bartending had helped that quite a bit, and her adventures with AVALANCHE as well. Starting conversations were still tricky for her, but once they got going, words just flowed out for her.
Terro started telling her story, and Tifa just listened. Their stories were quite alike, and she was a little glad for that. Not their stories in general, but that they had a connection in a way. "Yeah, our planet took some beatings, as did we all. I'm sorry to hear that. Are you okay now though? I can see if I can find someone to help you if you need?" She was sure Aerith would know what to do in a case like this, she was always the helpful one.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
As she spoke about her past, it seemed Terra zoned out a bit as her words trailed off at the end. Tifa wanted to ask about it, but fought with herself on if she should. Her caring nature wanted to push forward, but she didn't want to be rude or intruding to someone she didn't know. "It was. Did you do anything like that as a kid? Or did you grow up in a city?" That seemed like a simple enough question, but not too provoking. If she didn't want to talk, Tifa would also respect that.
Tifa knew that if someone were to inquire about her life, she would tell them her happier memories. Her hometown, the bar, traveling. Though a lot of those things held horrible memories as well, she had to remember that they also held happy ones. It was what had gotten her this far in her life. Well, personality wise anyways. Physically, she had no idea what had brought her to where she was now. Maybe she would never know...
It seemed as though her curiousity would be satisfied anyways. Terra began telling her about herself and Tifa had turned her body to face the other girl to give her full attention to the person next to her. So she fought mosters as well. Maybe the two girls had a lot more in common than Tifa had thought. Terra had mentioned something about having gifts. Thinking it was something along the lines of materia, she didn't push that subject any further.
"I had about the same experience in a way. My and my friends fought a, well, we'll call it a monster. He was attacking the planet, and it took us a long time to finally get to him. We won, but the next day, I woke up here." It was hard descibing Sephiroth to someone, but she didn't want to give it away that he was actually human, and also here on Zephon as well. No need to cause alarm when it didn't need to be.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa was trying to think of more things she could do with the apples, but wasn't coming up with any. She wasn't much of a baker, but she was sure she knew some other things. Maybe it was because she wanted to think of a recipe that none were coming to her. "Oh! Apple fritters too. I haven't had one of those in a long time." She was pretty happy that she finally thought of another one, and now she was more excited to get these home to start making things for the bar.
"Hello Terra!" After the last couple of days Tifa had, she was glad to be talking to someone that had no idea who she was and wasn't seeing right after a confrontation with her, um, former? Enemy. The other girl moved closer and Tifa gave her a smile. When she had picked apples as a kid, it was mostly only boys that had come to help. That being said, there was more apple throwing than anything, and the mothers were never happy to find out that not all the apples made it home for baking. So, she was glad the apples went from tree to basket here.
Listening to Terra talk, Tifa was glad to find out they were both here for the first time. This way, Tifa wouldn't have the chance to say something odd or wrong. "I agree. I used to pick apples as a child, so it's nice to be reminded of something happy from my past." Not saying her whole past was a bad memory, just a lot of the recent ones. Even if Sephiroth couldn't remember the horrible things he had done, didn't mean they were wiped from her memory as well.
Curiousity getting the best of her, she turned toward the other girl. "So is this your home world, or were you also pulled from home?" Honestly, she wasn't sure if their origins were supposed to kept secret from other people or not, but she wasn't sure why that would be a thing. It's not like it was some big secret.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
The other woman spoke and Tifa gave her a smile back. "Pies sound wonderful. I think I'll do that as well. Eating them plain also sounds delicious, these are beautiful." The conversation was small talk, comparable to talking about the weather. When you didn't know someone, you had to make due with what you were given, and currently, it was apples. Tifa didn't mind though, it could pick up a long the way and she could make another friend. Or, it could go wrong and it would end in flying apples.
Plucking another apple from the tree, Tifa decided to keeping pushing her luck. "I'm Tifa. Is this your first festival?" She honestly wasn't sure what other events were held on Zephon, and she was looking forward to seeing if there even was other ones. If she was going to be living here from now on, she was looking forward to what this new world had to offer for its people. So far, it held beauty and that was a plus for her.
As she looked around, she noticed there was another area next to the one they were in. There were more apples over there, but she wasn't really sure if that was an area they were supposed to be in. When she paid her fee, the attendant didn't say anything about how far they could go. From what she could see, there were a ton of apples, so she could only guess that it was a popular part of the festival and more people might join them soon.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa felt terrible that she had knocked and went to help him up, but he was already back on his feet. And, complimenting her as well. "Um, thanks. I train a lot." Part of her had thought about cutting down on working out after she had arrived here. At first, it hadn't seemed like there was anything to be afraid of. After she found out about the fight Cloud had started, she realized there were still people to be afraid of. Not saying just Sephiroth, but anyone in general. For all she knew, this man could attack her.
"I guess we both got surprised." Being a bartender the last few years had increased Tifa's social skills. Though, as a young girl she was pretty chatty as well, but she became more shy as she got older. Small talk was a must when working with people, even if they got wasted and didn't make much sense anyways. She was really thankful for all of that now, since she was in a new world.
Noctis introduced himself and she gave him a smile. "Tifa, nice to meet you." In a way, he kind of reminded her of Cloud. Maybe it was just the hair, as it was sticking out all over the place like her blonde friend. He was also rather skinny, but she could tell he was also strong. Was he a fighter? Where did he come from? She was about to start asking questions when he spoke next.
Cats? Well now he was sounding like Wedge. "Rising Stones Guild? That must be the building next to the destroyed one." She felt bad for whoever owned that, and knew she had to make sure Cloud helped them get it fixed in one way or another. He said he was going to go fishing, and she tilted her head to the side. "Mind if I join you? I've never been fishing." Out of all the things she had done while traveling with the gang, fishing had never been one of them.

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa had taken a couple days to get herself together. She had confronted Sephiroth and it had gone rather well, then had a literal run in with a guy who she learned was a prince. She would have never known if he hadn't told her, since he didn't look or act like any princes she had ever heard of. Then again, she had never met one before him, so she really had nothing to compare it to. It had been quite the day, and she needed to collect herself before she went to face Cloud, because she knew that confrontation was going to be a whole different thing.
Staying in Provo had been the best choice for her, as she was going to need to come back to talk to Cloud anyways. She had enough money to be able to rent a room for a couple of days, and she planned on talking to Cloud tomorrow. As she walked around, she started hearing things about some festival that was going on, and thought that would be a good way to get her mind off of things. Heading towards the place she had heard it was going to be, she had a small smile on her face.
When she arrived, it reminded her a lot of Nibelheim. The memories were happy ones, but it pained Tifa a little bit to remember them. She had relived her past enough during her conversation with Sephiroth, she hadn't been planning on remembering anymore for a while. The only reason she accepted it was because these memories weren't terrible, and she knew what she wanted to do first.
Apple picking was something she loved to do with her mother, so that's what she was going to do first. Paying her fee, she took her little bucket and bid a thank you to the attendant. The apples here looked delicious, and she knew she could make them into an assortment of things for both her home and the bar. As she picked, she noticed one other in the area. Deciding she really didn't like the silence anymore, she smiled at the other girl. "What do you plan on making with your apples?"

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME
Tifa had no idea what was going on his head, so she kept an eye on his facial expressions, which didn't tell her much. It did tell her that he wasn't getting angry, and that was good enough for her. That was her main worry, and she was relieved to realize that she may not need to worry about her past reliving itself. Her bold actions seemed to have paid off, and she was glad she had come here even though a part of her had told her not to.
When he spoke, Tifa remained quiet. So he didn't remember it, but that didn't surprise her. She wasn't sure when he had left Gaia and arrived in Zephon, but she wasn't sure he'd remember it if he had come here after. When one loses their mind, the chances to black out and not remember things are far greater. One thing he said tore at her heart a little bit, and it was a strange feeling. Was she feeling sorry for Sephiroth? The man who had killed her father, burned her home and nearly killed her?
It made sense though, why he had gone mad. He had no one to talk to, so the thoughts flowed freely in his mind, driving him to do the things he did. He stated he wasn't alone anymore, and she gave a small smile at that. His next statement got a small chuckle out of her. "I'll pass the message along." Though, that detail wasn't going to go over well with Cloud. Well, this whole situation wasn't going to make him very happy, and she wasn't looking forward to it...
Sephiroth thanked her for the intel and she gave him a nod. He started to walk away, and she stood up from the bench she had been sitting on. She turned to walk away, but noticed he had slowed down. She was facing away from him, but could hear the smirk in his words. The words took her by surprise, but they also made her smile. She didn't respond, and didn't watch as he walked away as she headed in the other direction, an immense weight lifted from her.
