“Well some are friendly, many are not friendly. Many just wish to be left alone. Heck there is one that leads an entire nation back home. Though he is a wise elder for the dragons so that might have something to do with it.” Monori responded and smiled as she could not help but remember Vritra back in Radz-at-han. Hopefully someday in the future she would be seeing that wise old wyrm and her other friends once more. Monori could not help herself as she spoke about the wyrm and then kept more than a little tight lipped about others that she knew and about the whole painful Dragonsong War. Once they had arrived at her room Monori could not help but smile and stretch out her arms over her head. Her tail extended out as she could not help but finally release a hold in tension that coursed through her. Though as Yuna spoke about her modifying the clinic some she raised a brow and spoke up without looking back to her. “Honestly if I was going to do things in the clinic proper I will still run them by you. As you will be the head healer here since you are the founder. I will be here to help you whenever you need it.” Though as Yun brought up the kitchen she felt her nose twitch and her whiskers tremble if only a small amount. There was certainly something that would never leave her. The love for exquisite cuisine. Be it from her own world or from others she did not care. All she wanted was some nice and fulfilling meals alongside helping people. “I have been known to enjoy a nice meal from time to time. Prepared many of them myself over my travels as well. Never knew where our next meal would come from a lot of the time so I kind of picked up what I had to and I have done many small things over the travels of mine. Maybe we can pick up some stuff and I can try and prepare you something from Eorzea? Well as close as I can make it with similar ingredients at least here?”Though as she finished up the bell that chimed had caught her attention and she moved to slip next to Yuna. “Lead on and after maybe I can go run to the market and then prepare us all a meal then?”(( Yuna ))

“Ixion? I have not heard of that horse since listening to the legends back around Ala Mihgo. If you have him then there is little to worry about should you actually get into a fight. Though still having access to Phoenix is a good thing… My friend who was also a summoner back on my Eorzea told me how temperamental that Egi was. And I have noticed that as well. Healing others has come just a little harder than before. I have noticed that my grander abilities are not able to be used. The Lily does not respond to me anymore. So that is my consolation. It seems to be here.” Monori spoke softly and yet with a purpose as she thought about what Thisei was saying. It was unusual to meet yet another person from back home but yet another person from yet another different version. It seemed that this world was going to continue to be an endless cavalcade of interesting things. After helping her up Monori turned to the shopkeeper and gave him a small wave of acknowledgement as she had healed one of his workers a few days earlier so thankfully it seemed that nothing was needed to be done now. Though her mind came back into focus as she heard Thisei speak up once more and she could not help but nod in agreement. “I have to agree with you on that. I have enjoyed just becoming a healer only since coming here. No world ending threats walking around, no people with designs on my life walking around, and lastly no Zenos chasing me from place to place like some lovesick puppy wanting attention.”A chuckle escaped her lips as she mentioned how she had come to view Zenos. It was something that made her mentally smile as it was an image that she couldn't help, but cultivate since the last time that she had seen him was his ‘death’ at the end of everything in Ultima Thule. “Well if you know about those two places then that will make things easier. As I use the Help Wanted Ave as my central point for everything else I do. Since it was where I first came into the city when I walked in after arriving here.”She motioned for Thisei to follow her as she started to walk toward that particular part of the city. She could explain things much easier there as the clinic had a small tent that Monori could sit at and pull out a city map to show Thisei. (( Thisei Virleth ))

It seemed that Monori’s words had hit a chord with Thisei as she had mentioned the former prince of the Garlean Empire. Yet it also seemed as if there was a weight that had been lifted off of her shoulders in that same moment. As Thisei said that it was nice to meet her, the miqote could not help but smile at her. It was great to see a fellow Eorzean even if it seemed that the two of them might not be from the same Eorzea. Just like Alex was from a different Eorzea to herself it seemed that the Aura was as well. After she had spoken about Alexander she knew that there was a chance that Thisei would not believe her but it seemed that she was a genuine ear was given to her about her misgivings about the man. “Honestly I do not wish to flaunt my title either. There are many here on Zephon that should not be told about us. Though I must admit there are many that are deserving of our trust and that can be trusted with who we once were.” The words slipped from her lips like a practiced mantra. She had no doubt that there were more people like Yuna and Celes out there, but she was also certain that there had to be people on the other end of the spectrum from the two noble people she had already met. Listening to Thisei speak she took a little bit to think about things before she would respond. Noticing however the pat on the grimoire on her side. This brought up a memory to Monori and her smile softened as a memory hit her. The face of a Hume to whom Monori was close to. ”Ah an Arcanist by trade then? Or do you specialize in one of the two masteries of the spellbook? As you can see I am a master of the cane and the healing arts.” Monori could not help herself but to speak about it. As how she knew about the two specializations was that because of her closest friend and love to whom she was now long afield from. Reaching back she moved her allagan staff around and in front of her to show Thisei for a moment. ”Ah so you are just making due. It is a good way to live and a rewarding one to do so as well. I am working at a clinic that is run by the Dragonblades and specifically a very talented young woman named Yuna. It has been very rewarding since I got here.” Speaking up she could not help but smile wide once more. Taking a few more moments before she slung her staff back onto her back and stood up. Offering a hand to Thisei to help her up to her feet. “How much of the town do you know? Would you like a tour as I have been here enough that I do know it decent. Not as well as Gridania or Uldah but it is enough to get around.”(( Thisei Virleth ))

Sure the impact had her reeling but it was nothing that she had not encountered in the past. So for her it was nothing to just let it go and to just let it fall off her like water off the back of a duck. Yet with everything that was going on she could not help but smile as she moved up and rubbed the back of her head. Thankfully she had been able to gather up her staff so there was no real issue forthcoming for her that she could not just heal up. Thankfully it seemed that her question about where the Au-ra had come from had piqued the woman’s interest and she was given an answer. Hearing that she had come from the Ruby Sea was a good thing. As she was certainly not in the mood to deal with a Dothari or another of the more extreme members of the Steppe. Though it seemed that questions were now being tossed in her direction. The first was an easy one to answer. Though Monori was going to remain quiet while she awaited other questions to come out from Thisei. It certainly seemed that this one was abright bulb and thankfully not one of the dimmer bulbs from back home on Etheirys. “Aye I am from Gridania. I have not been here all that long. So that is something.” She responded softly as she blinked out several times to finally fully clear all of her vision. Though the rest of what Thisei was saying made her stop chatting for a moment to collect her thoughts and finalize them before continuing on. ”Wait… Does that make you another bearer of Azem’s. Well this world is getting crazier by the day and possibly not in a good way. Yet yes introductions are certainly in order. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Thisei. I am Monori Jhida of the Sha Clan. I am a White Mage by trade… and I have noticed that this place has felt odd. While my own magic has not been fully bothered with. There are several things that I cannot do that I could have before. As for those two troublemakers I certainly hope that they had nothing to do with either of us being here. Last thing I remember of home was punching Zenos into unconsciousness and then collapsing on that… endless sea of stars.” Speaking with a slow purpose she could not help herself as she was just trying to let things out of her mouth as it was refreshing to run into someone from home even if it was an alternate home. Though these thoughts brought up a sour memory from deep down. ”Maybe I should not say this but there is yet another Azem here in town… He runs the Rising Stones. His name is Alexander Sorrel. Lets just say I had a… not so pleasant meeting with him when I first met him. So be careful if you do encounter him. But on a better note. Can I ask what it is that you are doing since arriving on Zephon? As I have found myself assisting at a small clinic here in town with another displaced healer. Not from Etheirys but still another displaced person.” Monori just had to let this out and yet she was certain to not taint Alexander’s reputation too much but she had to give out a warning to Thisei just in case she was to run into the man in the near future. “Wait, he has a pet dragon that he rides on? Ok I really do want to meet him eventually. I have ridden on the back of a few myself…” Instantly chiming back to Yuna she quickly shut herself up as her enthusiasm for what was spoken about Caius made her internally laugh. It was something that she was certainly not expecting on this planet. So someday she would have to talk to Caius about his experiences with Vordun. Monori raised a finger to her lips after Yuna returned her tease with a curious retort as to what all she actually could do. It was the universal gesture of I am not going to tell you all my secrets at once. Hopefully the woman would understand it and Monori just gave her a toothy smile. As the tour finally reached the upstairs she moved toward one of the rooms that was pointed out to her. Opening the door she nodded as she looked at the room from the now open door. “I will take this room then. So long as we do not need to pass it over to a patient that is.” She spoke softly as she looked at the rather empty room to which she was going to be giving her own flair but not in the here and now. Though Yuna’s words about her room being a little cramped did bring a raised eyebrow to Monori. “Wait yours is cramped? Got too much stuff in there or just supplies that you do not trust being downstairs overnight?” A rather simple question and one that she could easily understand from herself toward Yuna. There were many things that ran in her mind and today this was just another of the bouncing stream of consciousness that she had. (( Yuna ))

The day was quiet and calm and there was nothing that was going to bother Monori. Well at least that is what she was thinking as she was stopped by the child who ran off. First it was the child and second it was a call out from above her. If she had been using her Dragoon Crystal there was a chance that maybe she could have avoided the incoming woman but there was no chance whatsoever while inside of her White Mage getup. The impact sent Monori tumbling down to the ground with a sudden hard thud. Even with that for her it was nothing as compared to the punches of Zenos someone landing on you is like a light tap on the shoulder. Shaking her head after she came to a stop on the ground allowed her to begin to clear the cobwebs that such impacts imparted on those that were aldned on. Monori sat up her cat ears flicking up as she heard the voice coming from the person who had landed on her. A half apology at best made Monori chuckle to herself as best as she could as she moved to a seated position pulling her legs toward herself. “Oh that is nothing. Do not worry I have been hit harder before by the fist of a very angry man.”Letting out the words she could not help but finally shake her head once more and finish clearing the cobwebs without using any of her magical abilities. However her allah staff was laid in front of the woman and she reached for it. Grabbing the base of the staff she pulled it toward herself the orange crystal of Azem showing but for a moment in its secure hanging position off the crook of her staff as she did so. ”I am unhurt and it seems that nothing was broken. So you are lucky… Au…” Monori blinked a couple of times as the familiar horns of an Au-ra laid in front of her. It was like looking through the looking glass to a resident of the Steppe or one of the many refugees that she knew. Yet in the here and now heere on Zephon was an honest to Hydalen Au-ra. A sly smile began to cross her lips and set upon her face. Her one Miqo fang showing through the smirk as she spoke up once more. “So are you from the Steppe or the Sea or elsewhere?” A simple question that would instantly make it known to the fellow that she had stumbled upon someone who might not be from their world but was at least familiar with Etheirys.. Provo had its charms and for Monori the majority of those charms was staying as far away from the Waking Sands as possible and in enjoying the city and all it had to offer. So each day when she was not working alongside Yuna to help those that required their special care and healing magicks she wandered the town. It was on a particularly slow day s he had found a small shop that would suit her needs nicely. She was heading there to pick up a set of chef knives and other small things that she was going to be bringing back to the clinic. So that she could then proceed to make Yuna something as close as she could to one of her favorite dishes from back home in Gridania. Yet with that on her to do list there was little else for the day. So her wandering soul was in charge of her movements so long as she did not use them to leave Provo. So there was now a Miqo wandering down one of the side street markets. Passing booth after booth slowly picking up ingredients for her possible meal. Yet even with that she could not help but just feel that things were ‘off’ in the air around her. Things just could not sit right on her shoulders. Turning around her staff moving as she did so she caught her Azem crystal gleam in the sunlight but for a moment as she took a moment to see whatever it was that could be bothering her. It was with a huff she could not help herself. “Ok you are still too jumpy from Ultima Thule Monori. Slow down your mind…”Speaking to herself in particular she attempted to shake the thoughts from her mind. It mostly worked as she walked over to another stall and began to peruse the selections in front of her. As she did so a kid came running by and tugged on her tail as it had been moving back and forth gently . “OUCH.. Why you little…” Monori yelled out as she quickly pulled her tail back in tight to herself. The kid was already running off through the small crowd and she could not help but huff once more. “That must have been what I was feeling… So many things are so different then back home.”(( Thisei Virleth ))

It was a great thing that it seemed that Yuna had fully understood what she was getting at with her friends and then about her closest friends. There were only three of them that she held tightly and one was now gone back to the Aetherial Sea. So the other two she would have to hope would live long healthy lives without her being there. Though that did bring to her mind a question on what exactly Zephon would have. Would it be an Aetherial Sea or would it be something else entirely. That would be musing to go over another day with a scholar from Zephon. Though as Yuna chimed up and began to speak about how she was grateful to both Caius and Celes she couldn't help but nod in response to her. Monori was grateful for the chance meeting with Celes from the flier she had found. Though the rest of her day speaking with Alex was something that she would sooner forget but for now it bothered her. “Well when next he comes this way I look forward to meeting the man who helped set up the group that yo.. We call home within.”Her words were calm and she had to catch herself as she was certainly part of the Dragonblades now. Even if she had not meant to, it seemed that she was in. Though it did seem that her new white mage colleague was good at teasing and Monori could not help but slyly smirk at her. “Oh you would be surprised what all I can do with my magical abilities.” The teasing tone given back to Yuna with no qualms and instead a return in kind. Monori would follow Yuna as she left the new room and she could not help but enjoy the tour as it continued on. Standing in the midst of the hallway being told that there was a kitchen back there made her smirk widen into a smile. Something that she enjoyed in her spare time back home and there was a chance she could do it to make someone else's life easier. That is certainly something that she was going to do for Yuna. As they made it to the staircase she was informed of the three bedrooms up there. Nodding Monori could not help but speak. “I will gladly take one. As I figure it is easier than sleeping in the exam rooms when we get tired. Do we have anything in place should we need to have more than one patient overnight for a long period of time? Like one of the nearby inns for us to sleep in or for us to house patients inside of?”There was a spark in Monori’s mind as she thought about this topic as it came to her. As otherwise it would feel odd for her to just take one of the guest rooms if they should ever truly need it for emergencies. (( Yuna ))

The miqo could not help but smirk as Yuna chimed in about how it was scary to go against the church of her world and yet it was satisfying. There was not much to unpack from that as Monori kind of felt that as she had broken from her family’s traditions long ago and without that she would have never met the people she held dearest to her. Yet with all that she could not help but feel that specter of worry for her friends and of her loved ones left behind. “Knowing them, they would be trying to find a way to bring me home already. Delving into forgotten a nd forbidden tomes in the depths of forgotten corners of Eorzea and beyond. Yeah I can see them already doing that and while worried, smiling knowing that their work will matter to someone at some point.” Monori chimed in response to Yuna’s statement about her friends and how they would react to her. As it was true, she knew full well that Y’shtola and Graha would be delving into the depths of the libraries they had access to while the others would be scouring every forgotten hall that they found to try and bring her home. Yet she had a gut feeling this was just the adventure that Emet had mentioned to her that a bearer of Azem’s crystal should go on. So she was determined to see this through to the end. Not realizing that Yuna had heard her mention her friend's name, she started a little. It was not something that she wanted to really talk about in the here and now but she smiled and nodded. “Maybe another day…” There were a few topics she would not speak on at length with anyone outside of those closest to her. Both of which included her closest family and she was not to speak on it.. “I am happy to be here, Yuna. I am happy to be of help as I never truly aspired to become anything outside of a great healer. I have only ever wanted to help people and yet I wound up doing so much more than just that. As for the room… It is perfect for right now. Perfect for me to help as it beats a dirt floor and canvas walls where I started.” She smiled as she lifted her head and looked over at her. There was much that she knew that this woman reminded her of. So many of her closest allies and friends are not beside her in the here and now. It did bother her and wear thin on her heart but she knew that this was a way to honor them. “As for Ethers, do not worry too much for me. I have always had a fount of magical energy that is always there when I need it. So worry for yourself more than mine.” She spoke softly and once more nodded toward her. Moving once more to take off the heavy overcoat that was part of her outfit to hang it on the one chair in the room. “So where do we rest? As I doubt we sleep in the exam rooms. Plus we have not gotten through much of the tour.” She spoke with a slight chuckle in her voice as it was obvious s he was teasing the summoner in the moment. (( Yuna ))

As Yuna spoke and was humble about how she had built the clinic. It was a refreshing thing as many others around here seemed to be full of themselves and more than happy to boast about their own achievements. Once more her mind momentarily flashes to the other Azem that she had run into already. Things were not that simple it seemed and that she was going to have to figure these out one at a time. ”Breaking traditions can be fun.. Though yours was certainly a much larger break from tradition then the many times I have done it over my life.” She spoke softly but with a calm purpose behind her words. Yet there was certainly a small bit of pride in the fact that her new companion was able to do this. So Monori would be happy to meet Yuna’s companions on her trip should she ever have that opportunity. As Yuna spoke about her friends and about how they found peace Monori could not help but laugh lightly as her head slumped a little and her gaze went to the ground. “Honestly I know that they survived. I know that each and every single one of them are angry at me. We went through so much together. I know that they will continue on doing what is right even without me there. The only ones I worry about are those I was the closest to that were not Scions. Yet I know they will mourn but will move on.”[/color] As she spoke she slowly let the words fade off as she was obviously hiding behind the words and her confidant portrayal. Yuna’s compliment on her internal strength made her smile once more and lift her gaze back to the brunette. ”You remind me of Rin…” Her words were quiet and rather distant but still there and that Yuna would of been able to hear her. Though her wandering mind that had gone to her closest and most trusted companion snapped back to Zephon the moment that Yuna offered heer the exam room. It was with a growing smile and confidant persona slipping back in place she looked at the young woman. ”Consider it claimed. I will be happy to help you and to help the people of Provo. If my skills can at least help in the slightest then I am happy to be here.”(( Yuna ))
