”You are welcome Miss. I do enjoy helping others…I will look for this Yuna as soon as things here are settled…” Monori spoke as she had handed back the brochures to Celes and turned her attention toward Alex. She narrowed her eyes a little toward him as Celes spoke about the clinic and how the clinic was a low cost one. Then she was basically offered the job which she was certainly going to take as soon as she was out of this. Yet seeing Alex produce an identical crystal to the one that hung from her staff gave her pause. Swinging her staff around as Alex began to accuse her of being a fraud and a pretender. Inhaling she waited a single moment and she exhaled the held breath. As soon as it had left her body she looked directly at Alex in his eyes. “Are you so dense as to forget how we learned to summon heroes from across the rift to assist us? Are you so dense as to forget that all of them felt the exact same every time? I am no fraud just as you are not…” Swinging her staff around she leveled it horizontally in front of her to create a makeshift barricade just in case she needed it. ”So you are the man who runs that place. I purposely have not gone there as I did not find a need to go there. To remake the Rising Stones here is a farce. There is no Tataru here to gather up the Scions nor are there any Scions even here upon this Realm. You get upset and angry over nothing but a quick assumption… You claim I am no White Mage but I am and YOU are the one who does not exist in my realm. I fought Nael Van Darnus, I fought Gaius and his legion, I fought all of the Primals of the realm. For I was the one who fought the Endsinger alongside those summoned from across the rift. I was the one who fought Zenos in one on one combat. I WAS THE ONE WHO LOST ALL MY FRIENDS BY BEING SENT HERE INSTEAD OF HOME. WHEN I RETURN HOME I WILL END THAT BIRD’S EXISTENCE…” Her words were just as sharp as her fangs as she kept her eyes narrowed toward him. Monori could not help but yell at Alex as she tightened her grip on her staff. As she tightened the grip on the staff it began to glow with a soft red as she could not pull her eyes from Alex. She was getting ready to step in and fight him in this moment. She could not tell what he was as on the back of her left glove was the White Mage crystal given to her by the Padjal themselves. Looking him directly in the eyes she would speak through her gritted teeth. ”I have fought and fought and in the moment I believe I have ended my fight and earned a moments rest I was snatched and placed here… So my greatest apologies that I did not just go running to YOUR RISING STONES……” As she ended her words she let out a little growl as she could not help but remember the family that was behind on her Eorzea. The one that she was not able to mourn that was no longer walking beside her. (( Celes Chere , Alexander Sorel )

Monori had been enjoying her time within Provo. The town was certainly different then what she was used to, but it still felt like a larger Mor Dhona. Though in order for her to survive in this town she had become familiar with the Avenue of Bulletin Boards and job seeker tables. Having completed a few over the few weeks she had been here. This allowed her to gather money and not have to delve into her own gil storage except for the initial down payment on the inn room she had done. On several occasions recently she had found what looked like half drenched, half burned and ripped to pieces job posting on many of the boards, especially a few of the smaller boards that she had been taking her jobs from. This was mostly to hide her appearance from the endless sea of humans she had seem outside of her new au-ra friend. Yet even with it being drenched she could find out a few details that she could. The few words she could make out were White MAge, Dragonbla, and a possible location. That was all that she needed but first she had to gather her things and go make an impression.
After finding the nearly fully destroyed bulletin she pulled it from her pocket and she was back on the Avenue. Walking down looking over the few boards she would stop as she saw a table with a sign on it with the rest of the partial name she had gotten from the piece of paper in her pocket. Pulling it out she confirmed it and began to walk over as she saw a man walk up. There was some back and forth and that she could not hear and instead she could not help but feel that this had to be some personal tiff. Be it a former romantic one or otherwise she was not all that caring. It was as she approached the table she could not help but feel what felt like magic from back on Etherys and she felt the winds begin to pick up and the brochures on the table started to go flying toward her.
Recognizing the motions of wind magic from her time communing with the elements in the Twelveswood while training to be a White Mage and training alongside the Padjal in Gridania. Spinning her staff off her back she caught several of the blowing brochures with her staff and a couple others with her free hand. As she spun her staff a small orange gem spun off a cord that she had tied along the spine of the staff. Not noticing as she walked over toward the table after gathering the seven brochures she managed to save. Looking at one in her hand she stopped beside the table and tapped her staff loudly into the stone street beneath her.
She gave a sideways glance toward the man as she set down the brochures and looked up toward Celes. ”I see you are looking for an experienced White Mage to assist inside of some sort of clinic. Well I do happen to be quite the accomplished healer back from my home of Gridania. I would love to offer you and this clinic of yours my services as I am still trying to gather my bearing here… and you good sir should be careful with messing with the elements. You never know when one will grow agitated with our actions.”
Monori spoke calmly and confidently as she shifted her eyes toward Alex. Her Miqo ears twitching as she moved her head the slight angle with her sharpened barb toward him. Certainly today would be an interesting day and Monori was going to be certain to see it through.

"The Final Days were horrific... and I would not wish its effects upon even my worst of enemies. Yet it is good that this place has not seen such a thing fall upon it... You seem to of been here a bit longer then I have. Can I ask what people call this world? Since I only know of the city names around us." Monori spoke up as she seemed to relax her shoulders and full stance. The small oni that was with Mu did seem to bother her in the least. As for her it was good to see a companion even if it was one of those. As Mu started to speak about the Rising Stones she nodded and turned her attention back to it. With a deep breath she began to speak once more after listening to all of the words that Mu spoke. "It does have the same name as the home of the Scions... Yet I do not know if anyone that I know is here in this world. So I doubt that Tataru or one of the other Scions have arrived here. As they would not have set up such a... garish looking place so openly advertising the Scions. We are to be more in the shadows then out in the open as this. Even though we recently became the spear tip for the Grand Companies."Monori could not help herself as she spoke about the recent goings on in such a cryptic manner. With all her words spoken she would sigh and rub the bridge of her nose again. "Plus I doubt whoever is in charge of this Rising Stones would want me walking in there and disrupting whatever they have going on. Yet I feel as if I should. Just go right in there and ask to speak to whoever their leader is. Plus I am not that violent a person. I would rather just heal others instead of fight anyone."(( Keimusho Onishi ))

"It is truly a pleasure to meet you Mu. Most people here have been looking at me like I was some crazy wild beast... Though I am starting to suspect that is because I am a Miqote and most people here have never seen one." She spoke as she could not help but chuckle to herself after setting back down the glass of wine. It honestly felt like things were odd here that there were not many beast-like races around. So she had to get readjusted to something like this. Though when her questions came back with a raised eyebrow and a confused look it seemed that she had spoken to someone that had been plucked out of time. Just when Monori could not help but start to wonder, he spoke up, answering her suspicions right away. Then came his explanation as to where he had come from. That memory brought a momentary smile to her face as she remembered the liberation of Doma and yet the smile faded as she could not help but think of Gosetsu and Yotsuyu. "I remember that. It was several years ago for me. We liberated the city and it was a great day..."Monori trailed off as she saw the small Oni appear beside Mu. It was unusual for her to see such an apparition but she also knew of the Scholer's pixies and the familiars of the Nu Mou. It just had to be like them perhaps. The words from the companion was certainly something that she had to think about how to respond to. With that she took a moment and spoke up after the introduction was completed. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well Enma. I am familiar with protective spirits being a healer as I am. I have worked with many a Scholar and Summoner over the years. SO your companion does not shock me as much as it should."
"But yes the Final Days is an ominous thing that last I knew of Eorzea I was averting and had succeeded from what I could tell. Then I fought the disgraced Garlean Prince in a fist fight and then I was here. It still hurts as to what had all happened..." She spoke up as she could not help but rub the bridge of her nose. It was a stressful thing as she could not help but feel that she had done everything that she could. There were several things in her mind that she was thinking about but as he asked of the Final Days she could not help but begin her explanation of what it was exactly. "The Final Days are horrendous. The Aether of all beings is turned against them. If one is stuck in despair, rage, or other negative emotions it will turn one into a monster. Once turned you will try to kill all those near you. I have seen it personally in Radz-at-Hahn. You will be devoid of Aether. It will be fully burnt away by this process. Your body will not return instead you will wither away into the dust of creation and be lost forever. The skies become red as if set aflame and thick with monsters. What appears to be a shard of broken stars will fall from the sky. It is.. death personified on Eorzea. It is worse than anything I have ever seen. Far exceeding even being there at the epicenter of Dalamud's Fall. But I believe I.. I had done my job as Hydalen asked me to do." She finished up as her eyes looked straight ahead toward the Rising Stones once more. There was something bothering her. "Can you tell me who it is that owns that place? It.. bothers me."(( Keimusho Onishi ))

Monori's attention had been on the Rising Stones when things seemed to shift around her. There was just a feeling that surrounded her and she saw what she could only expect to be an Au-Ra standing in front of her. Their look was so much like what she would call a Doman. So it seemed that whatever this world was truly grabbed people from anywhere and everywhere. \ Yet with that she could not help but smile toward the Au-ra. The gentle smile dotted across the charcoal colored Miqote’s face as she fully recognized the Doman bow. It was refreshing and she nodded in response to the Au-ra. ”Aye I am from Etheryis. I am but a humble traveling White Mage from Gridania. I go by Monori Jhida. May I have your name, my fellow Eorzean? From your attire and manner I can assume you are a Doman or am I mistaken?” Speaking up as she then reached over and took a drink from her glass of wine. Letting the tannins of the wine settle on her tongue she would swallow the wine after a few moments and close her eyes. Taking in a deep breath she let it out slowly as she opened her eyes narrowing them as she did so. ”Pray tell me something. Are the Final Days averted? Have we settled our differences with the Garleans as they recover from their self wrought destruction?”Monori let her words settle as she couldn't help but keep a wary eye toward the Rising Stones. There was just something unnerving about that place. Something that she would have to figure out sometime in the near future. (( Keimusho Onishi ))

This land was a welcome reprieve from the absolute nothingness that had been around Monori just before she had arrived here. Yet once here her adventuring spirit once more welled up and even through worried thoughts for her fellow Scions she had been wandering the lands. Slowly she traveled and using her internal magical reserves she would heal those injured, wounded, or afflicted with illness. She was thankful that it seemed that others had been traveling around and had been healing others; she was not looked upon with suspicion except for the fact that she was a strange cat girl.
This fact had never really ever bothered Monori as even in places of prejudice she would just ignore it and continue to move on from it. Yet the people outside of the city were less judgemental then the people that she had run into inside of the City of Provo. First it was some guards being jerks toward her and she had to prove to them that she was not wearing some weird disguise and that yes she was a natural catgirl with a tail and ears. Then came the looks from many of the younger people within the city. It was as if her Ruby Red outfit had drawn quite a number of eyes upon her along with the glowing staff upon her back.
Luckily the gold pieces she had carried in her pocket had translated to a decent amount of the local money so she was able to get herself a place to stay at an inn. Waving off the innkeeper she headed outside and she began to walk away from the inn. Spotting an indoor outdoor bar just down the road made her smile. There was nothing quite like a decent drink after a long day of healing others. So that was her next port of call and she headed that way.
Entering the outdoor bar she took a seat at a small table for two on the edge of the property. A waitress came over and she spoke up. “I would like a glass of red wine and something to eat. Whatever your special for the day is I do not mind…” She finished speaking and smiled at the waitress who nodded and headed back inside. There was a place down the road that caught her eye with its name. “The Rising Stones.” The name alone would of made her stop but the fact that she was watching it closely now. Looking to see if anyone she recognized would walk in
When the few hours passed and she was several drinks down and two plates of food consumed she could not help but sigh. Since there had not been a single person she recognized entering the place. So there were many questions that began to spin in her mind. Despite that she sat there with a buzz going on and she was going to keep watching.

Her hair is usually tied back in a ponytail with two tails hanging down off of her bangs on either side of her face. Her hair extends to just below her shoulder blades when it is pulled back. Her skin is a charcoal gray that is indicative of a Keeper of the Moon Miqo'te. She has two sets of three lighter marks over each set of her cheeks. Her eyes are an ocean blue in color. She wears dark colored lipstick as well. While inside of both of her crystal maintained forms she wears a large pressed set of lavender flowers that have been preserved to never wilt nor rot.
When her White Mage crystal is Equipped: She wears a red jacket with black undershirt. Over her hands she wears black full length gloves. Her pants are a black denim like material and her boots are utilitarian and also black in color. On her right hand she has a small golden ring with a ruby on it and on her left hand she has a silver ring with an emerald mounted in it. When it is placed upon her back the cane is not lit up yet when she places a hand upon the cane it lights up with red highlights.
When her Dragoon Crystal is Equipped: Monori wears a black and gold emblazoned set of armor with an orchid in her hair instead of the lavender. Her entire body is covered in flexible plates that cover her to allow for ease of fighting. Her spear is shaped like a blackened trident of 5 points. When her polearm is drawn the edges of the trident glow with a faint purple glow.
DISTINGUISHING MARKS:: Monori has four distinct marks upon her body. The first is a cut upon the back of her neck that was healed badly. The second is a magical frostbite scar on her left leg. The third she has a cut over her right eye and up to her hairline. The last is the most striking as it is a luminous tattoo on her body. The tattoo is just below her right breast. .
II. PERSONA Monori growing up was a wild spirit and enjoyed the exploring that she did through the forests around her home. So from an early age she had the wanderers spirit deep within herself. Alongside this drive to wander around and explore she has a deep seated sense of loyalty to those close to her and if she loses a friend or close ally she feels it deeply. It is what drove her toward the work of a Healer.
She however does not shy away from combat even with her inclination to do nothing but wish to heal others. Eventually she took up the spear after the death of a close friend. This reinforced her loyalty and importance of her friends. Though when meeting people for the first time she will default to one of two personalities. The first is to flirt with them, be it male or female. The other would be to be boastful and regale people with the tales of her explorations and adventures.
She has quite the reservoir of patience alongside this because of her close friends from within her free company and those close to her. As they constantly do oddball things and yet she was always there to help tending to them. Tending to them in order to allow them to move along to the next adventure at her side.
III. BACKGROUND Monori has always been an adventurer at heart, So traveling the world is in her blood as it is with most Miqote. In her downtime on Etheirys she would play a small traveling harp and she would cook meals for herself and for her friends.
Whenever she fights it fully depends on which of her crystals are equipped. If she has her White Mage Crystal equipped she will stand back and attack at a distance using her magical spells. When she swaps to her Dragoon Crystal she will move in and strike with precise attacks. She is also apt to swap to her dragoon state to escape an opponent's range to get back to healing. She will swap between her crystals when needed but prefers to fight with only a single one at a time.
Monori will stand in the way of attacks meant for those she has deemed her friends and allies. Even taking many wounds for this very action. Yet Monori will think of if the attack is within her mettle of healing before throwing herself in the way. She has one irrational fear and that is failing to protect her closest friends and family after losing one of her family shortly before the events of the Final Days occurred.
IV. HISTORY
Monori “Sha'' Jhida was born twenty three (23) years before the fall of Dalamud. She was born to a clan of Keeper of the Moon Miqote. Her childhood was not really all that eventful as she was raised with teaching her how to survive by using the basic lance, bow, and sword work. Growing up she wound up leaving to Gridania and becoming an adventurer meeting a fellow clanmate and their friends. She would eventually fight for the City State of Gridania as an Adventurer against the Garlean Empire. Fighting against the White Raven Nael Van Darnus’s legion personally she would continue the fight. Alongside her closest friends turned family she fought all the way to Nael Van Darnus’s personal place closest to Dalamud. Shortly after defeating Nael she and her party left the Rivenroad where they had fought and made their way onto Carteneau. Once upon the battlefield.and in the midst of combat some days later the Fell Moon would fall and release Bahamut upon Eorzea and Monori and her friends would vanish in the Aether of the planet through Louisoux’s magics.
Upon awakening after the white light had surrounded her she found herself on a path leading back to Gridania. A welcome sight as she headed toward her home. Meeting up with her friends once more they all celebrated the founding of their new Free Company. From there she traveled around Gridania and the surrounding lands helping solve their problems before leaving to the other Cities to see the memorials for the fall of Dalamud in each of the other cities. After the meeting she joined with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and helped them begin defeating the Priomals scattered across Eorzea and to fight the incoming Garleans. She would fight through each of the Primal crises as they emerged with her loyal group of friends and a member of her family by her side. They traveled, beating each of the crises that came in front of them, before fighting the XIVth Legion at the Praetorium and ending the Garlean attack upon Eorzea.
After the defeat of the Garleans she would delve into the Crystal Tower alongside Graha Tia and then she delved into the depths of the Coils of Bahamut alongside Alisaie. It was naught but a few days after emerging from the deepest parts of the Coils that she was tasked with defeating the heretics outside of Ishgard. Fighting against Lady Iceheart she could not help but feel sadness for the woman's lot in this life and wished things could be different and that why could travel together. This would happen in the near future as she escaped the assassination of the Sultana of Ul’dah and made her way to the City of Ishgard thanks to her friendship with one Hauchefaunt Fortemps. After getting a base of operations placed in the city proper Monori, a few of her close friends, Alphinaud, Estinien Wyrmbloos, and Ysayle the aforementioned Lady Iceheart began their travels deep into the Hinterlands and into Dravania. Fighting their way through Dravania they fought the PRimals Ravana and Bismarck and fought her way up and put to rest Nidhogg the dragon who sent his brood in endless waves crashing into Ishgard. Through this she found out the truth of the Dragonsong Wars creation and perpetuation. This made her and her allies push into the Aery and once there was the first blow that Monori had felt since the death of Moenbreda with the Ascians. Hauchefaunt died in her arms as she could not heal the gaping wound that had pierced his chest despite her putting her all into the efforts. It was not long until she suffered the second loss of this war as she watched once more helplessly unable to save a person she considered a friend. Ysayle died saving them from the Garleans that came to take over Azys Lla. Her sacrifice was not in vain as they made their way to the Aetherochemical Factory and fought to fight Lahabrea once more. Going through the fight once more she was about to kill both him and another Ascian when she remembered that the White Aetheryte that she had could only contain one of them, at a time. Yet that was enough as King Thordan, formerly the Pope, showed up and took out Lahabrea with his blade. With tears stinging her eyes she stood firm alongside her allies and they fought and killed the entire Heaven’s Ward and the depowered King Thordan.
Through the events of the Dragonsong War she had started to become something of a leader to the other Scions. After reuniting with them and alongside her closest allies she reformed the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and emerged to help the world as best that they could. Starting with helping the goblins of Idyllshire to protect them from Alexander’s influence. After doing that she managed to defeat the possessed Estinien and alongside Alphinaud remove the eyes of Nidhogg from him freeing him from his possessed state. After that was settled she returned to the Rising Stones but for a few days before another call for help and once more her and her close friends were sent down into Mhach. Cleaning that scourge upon the star she returned to find that the former Crystal Brave Ilberd had returned and stole the Eyes o fNidhogg allowing himself to turn into a Primal Dragon with the name of Shinryu. Yet with that he had attacked the Garlenas stationed at the point between Ala Mihgo and Gridania. Monori with her friend fought their way to the wall and once more watched helplessly as another member of the Scions cast off their mortal body and passed away saving them all from the dragon primals fury. Shortly after this Yda revealed herself to the Scions that she was actually Lyse Hext Yda’s sister and the original Yda had died many years earlier.
The plight of the Ala Mihgan people touched a nerve with Monori and she offered her help alongside several of her closest friends they left heading there to finally bring the fight to the Garlean’s stationed there and farther abroad. Gaining some ground in the immediate area past the Wall, the momentum was ended by the interference of Zenos. The royal heir for the first time made his appearance on the battlefield and handled Monori and her allies with relative ease. Casting the aside and leaving them alive for some sick twisted reason. Monori could not help but try and figure out a way to get stronger. It was shortly after that she alongside Alphinaud with the help of the Doman People made her way to Kugane. Upon the journey she had to stop and fight through the Sirensong Sea Shipwreck Graveyard. It was there she found a connection with the Samurai and picked up the katana there and began to use it so that she would have a way to defend herself when her magic failed her.
Even with that she could not help but find herself annoyed by the Namazu that inhabited Kugane Especially when she needed to have to use one alongside her friends to try and find a way to the Ruby Sea. She found her way to the Ruby Sea thanks to a Kojin named Soroban. The reason for this trip was to try and find the heir to the Doman Throne Lord Hien. She would not find him right away instead she would help to begin settling a dispute between the Blue an Red Kojin which culminated in her having the fight her first Eastern Primal the Lord of the Revel Susano, After beating him so began the liberation of Doma and surrounding lands. With this the fight against Yotsuyu and Asahi began. The events would continue uneventfully until Zenos showed up once more. Fighting and losing to him once more. The travels would continue as Zenos would not kill Monori and instead told her to come after him with more fire and hatred in her heart.
After this defeat she instead headed to the Azem Steppe and met with the Xaela tribes that lived upon the Steppe. Finding Lord Hien amongst the tribes of the Steppe, things began to fall into place for Doma’s restoration. Befriending two of the leaders of two of the many tribes she then untied all the tribes of the Steppe into assisting Hien in his plan to take back his homeland. Without Zenos there Monori and her allies made their way through into the castle itself. Fighting through they would liberate the castle but with the supposed death of Gosetsu and the disappearance of the leader of the Garlean Occupation Yotsuyu. With Doma secured and the Garlean’s weakened, Monori returned to Rhalgr’s Reach and began the attempts to retake Ala Mihgo alongside the people there. This included dueling a woman by the name of Fordola multiple times and slaying another Primal this time it is the Primal Lakshmi After putting her down she continued the slow march toward Ala Mihgo. Keeping on going things would continue until a final showdown with Fordola where Monori would win once more and then the fight against Lord Zenos would occur at the top of the Ala Mihgan Palace. Monori fought Zenos and the captured Primal Dragon Shinryu, defeating both and casting them both to the Aetherial Sea or so she thought with Zenos killing himself before her eyes, but the peace was short lived. She delved into the depths of the Alpha and Omega Scapes alongside Cid and the Ironworks. Yet these expeditions were only slight diversions as she was stunned upon her return to Ala Mihgo.
As someone had stolen and inhabited Zenos’ body and somehow Zenos himself had survived his death due to this event. Yet with all that happening something started happening to the Scions that she was closest to. Each of them started to be knocked unconscious one by one. Thankfully each of her friends were able to be taken to a makeshift hospital in the Rising STones and sustained yet she had to find out what had happened to them. She would however find out or at least get a clue as to who it was at the worst possible time. Zenos had somehow regained his body and the Garlenas and Eorzean Alliance with the rebuilt armies of Doma and Ala Mihgo fought once more and Monori had pushed into the melee with her closest four friends. Whilst fighting Zenos she was strict with a voice telling her what to do next. To which the battle ended shortly after after the intervention of many of the other leaders of Eorzea.
For Spoilers Sake after this point
After the ending of the Doman Rebellion and the fights where the Scions were taken one by one to the First Shard better known as Norvrandt. Monori found herself heading there through the Sycus Trench. Arriving there she found herself outside of the Crystarium, the largest settlement of the area that she had arrived at. Once at the Crystarium she was given her mission while on the First. She was to defeat the Lightewardens and restore the night. Alongside restoring the night she would go and find all of her allies and gain the assistance of an unlikely ally. One of the three that lead the Ascians, one Emet Selch, and the Warrior of Darkness from her own world Ardbert. While Emet's assistance in her endeavors where not asked for, it proved invaluable in the few occasions that they found themselves at a dead end. Ardbert's assistance came in the moments that she needed to understand the world that she was now within as this was his and other Warriors of Darkness's home world.
It was while traveling on the First that Monori found out about the past of the Ascians themselves and started to gain a better understanding of her enemy. Through this understanding and anecdotal moments from Emet Selch himself she began to grow a begrudging respect for the burden that the man had carried upon himself. Restoring the Light took a toll though upon Monori. As she took in the Light upon herself she constantly felt the pain searing in her very soul. Yet with that she did continue to push on no matter what happened to her.
Fighting her way through all in front of her be it Lightwarden, Empowered Men of Vauthry, and even Vauthry himself. Yet in the moment of triumph at the end of the path in the First everything turned to the worst possible thing. As Vauthry died and Monori took in the Light from him it began to overwhelm her and the Crystal Exarch stepped in to try and save her life through an assumed treachery. Yet through this act he left himself open and Emet Selch laid out a path for Monori and the gathered Scions. To go to Amarout and face him down.
So with everything that she could muster and through her adventures in Norvrandt she pushed forward and into the depths to face the man once and for all. She fought and gathered up the crystals of the Warriors of Darkness in totality in order to light the lantern to Amaurot. There she and the other Scions where given their first glimpse of the Final Days and began to understand more what Zodiark was truly. Making their way there they made it to the peak and through the trial that Emet Selch had laid out for her and she stood in front of him with assistance from those that the Exarch summoned to assist her in taking down Emet Selch who had revealed his true name to her with. She was to fight Hades, the man who held the very burden of the memories of the Ascians.
The battle was intense and Monori was pushed to her very limits as she eventually came out victorious. Through the combined efforts of herself and the rejoining of her soul and Ardbert’s. As Emet faded away into the Aether that made up every living being she promised to continue to carry the burden that Emet himself had carried. As everyone gathered she greeted the Exarch as her old friend Graha Tia. A man long outside of the time since she had seen him enter the Crystal Tower. With the Night restored to Norvrandt they began to find a way to restore the Scions to their bodies in the Source.
This was a slow process but she would do it alongside others and while on these missions she was accosted by Elidibus in the body of Ardbert. So began another trial and a race against time as each of the Scions were starting to show signs of degradation from being separated from their bodies. Yet right before they would battle against Elidibus himself they had found the way to move their souls back to their bodies on the Source. Alongside Graha Tia Monori pushed into the Crystal Tower that Elidibus had broken into whilst using the memory crystal of the Exarch as it had the blood of Graha on it. Monori would get to the main chamber after leaving the Exarch to fight off the endless sea of enemies that Elidibus was summoning through the Crystal Towers power. Once in the chamber she, using the crystal of Azem summoned other warriors to help fight and defeat Elidibus. Yet even with the help it took the spirit of Emet Selch to appear and retrieve her and her summoned allies from the end of eternity that would allow them to win the day.
It was after that alongside the Exarch sealed Elidibus inside of the Crystal Towers massive reservoir of Aether. With a final sacrifice the Exarch sealed himself inside of that very room and imparted his memories and skills into the memory crystal that she carried. With a promise of bringing him along on the next adventure she would leave and then would take the other Scions home after a tearfilled goodbye to Ryne. Upon arriving home she handed out the soul filled crystals and Monori had a single promise to fulfill and she headed inside the Tower and would retrieve Graha to bring him along to the next grand adventure. The first of these adventures was to stop the newly created Telephorai’s towers and the summoned primals that would emerge from them. Taking down an improperly summoned Bahamut alongside Tiamat the Scions started the battle to stop this latest scheme and to find a new way to stop the Final Days. How little did she know that the next adventure will be the greatest of her life.
Upon returning to the Rising Stones Monori and the rest of the Scions decided to travel to Sharlayan to gather information about hte Final Days from the depths of the massive vault of knowledge that they had. Whilst on the trip to Sharlayan Monori was visited by Hydalen. Not in a dream nor a vision but physically while traveling on the boat to the city. There she spoke to her and found out that time was short and she was weakening. Which meant their quest would need to be a fast one. Understanding the message from her, Monori and the rest of the Scions pushed on and into the city. Splitting up to gather information where they could and offer their aid to other places that the towers emerged. Firstly she moved into the first few levels of Sharlayan and learned what she could before the Council that ran Sharlayan caught the Scions and told them to stop doing what they were doing. Understanding this, Monori traveled with Urianger, Thancred, and Estinien to a city outside of Radz-at-Han.
Once there Monori worked alongside the other three and the alchemists to find a way into the Towers without being tempered. Monori was immune thanks to her Echo and blessing that came alongside it. After losing her guide inside of the Tower of Zot in an attempt to prove that the talisman worked Monori and the Scions dove into the battle in the Tower. Defeating the summoned Lunar Manusya. Defeating them through the tower they destroyed the tower by destroying the Aetherical Circuit at the top of the tower. Thanks to Graha’s magic all those trapped within the tower were saved. With Alisaie’s assistance and the new ability they found to untemper those affected they started to push through and began this process everywhere. To all those ever tempered were being healed up.
Upon returning and recovering from the Tower of Zot the Grand army of Eorzea moved out to attack Garlemald. Monori was at the Vanguard of the forces assisting everyone that she could as they pushed into the lands of the Empire. There they fought and created a base of operations from which Monori and the Scions pushed out doing what they could to attempt to help the denizens of Garlemald that had not been killed, tempered, or driven mad. It was while out there on one of these missions that she ran into the remnants of a Garlean REgiment that held the twins hostage while Monori would help with brokering some form of peace between the Eorzean forces and the Garlean’s. It was during one of these events that the Garlean radios crackled to life forcing a large portion of the Garlean forces to turn against the Eorzeans and Monori to get captured and body swapped with Zenos. Instead of placing her within his body Zenos instead forced her into the body of a simple Garlean Soldier. To that end she made it back just barely in time to stop Zenos from killing the Scions.
Zenos swapped her back to her body after this and invited them to try and defeat them in the Tower of Babil. To that end after assisting the remnants of the civilian population and securing Camp Broken Glass the Eorzeans did just that. Infiltrating the Tower and fighting their way up the tower and defeating Anima the former leader of Garlemald twisted into an abomination. Upon getting to the throne room there was a teleporter to the moon itself within. Threatening the Scions and revealing their plans to resurrect Zodiark made the Scions try and stop them but Hydalen once more assisted by first deflecting a portion of the attack that was supposed to break the prison of Zodiark with a magical barrier then deflecting Fandaniel and Zenos to another location on the moon. Monori volunteered to head to the moon first while the other Scions would find a way to follow after securing the Tower.
Arriving on the Moon Monori was drawn to a tower overlooking a massive crater. Heading inside she was greeted by a construct of Hydalen calling itself the Watcher. There she was explained to what was going on and how there were only two things holding Zodiark at bay in the moment. She was told to head out there and inspect them and right as she would leave the first of the two were destroyed by Zenos and Fandanial. Quickly she moved with the assistance of a magical dog to whom she was just now introduced. The dog gave her the movement to get close to the final restraint where before reaching it she was interrupted by a group of Ancient Spirits that radiated out from Zodiarks prison. Included with them was a new old friend of hers. The true soul of the recreation of Hylodaeus was there in front of her. Shooing away the other spirits he seemed to understand her plight and gave her some sage words of advice then left her to go and try and stop Zenos and Fandanial. Yet she was too late and Zenos destroyed the last pillar and Fandanial dove in to take direct control of Zodiark since Zodiark’s heart was sealed within the Crystal Tower. Zenos did not stop Monori as she chose to dive in after Fandanial and through the Crystal of Azem she would summon a group of Warriors of Light from across the infinite Aetherical Sea to assist her. Upon defeating Zodiark she breathed the first breaths of supposed freedom from the events that she thought that the world was stuck on. Only to see the planet in front of her turn blood red and seemingly burn away in front of her eyes.
This single vision made her realize that the Final Days as Emet Selch had shown them in Amarout was coming and now it was up to them to try and find them way to stop it. It was something that she had not expected to have to do but now she would need to find a survivor of the events. Yet as she thought about this she ran into Urianger, Y'shtola and Thancred. They had followed her up and now they were to explore the moon and see what they could do to help. Traveling on the moon for but a short distance they came upon the Loporitts and their underground city which was to be an arc for all life on Etherys. Learning everything about them and how their mission was to assist everyone leave from the planet if needed. After a misunderstanding between the Loporitts and Monori and the Scions they left Urianger behind on the moon and returned to the planet to find a way to stop the Final DAys. This would lead her to return to Norvrandt and the Crystal Tower within which Elidibus was sealed within. Once there she spoke with him. Learning what she could she was then given an opportunity and took it. She would go somewhere that she would never have expected. She would head to the world of the Ancients themselves and to their research laboratory of a land. The land of Elpis.
Once on Elpis she ran into someone unexpected. She ran into Emet Selch and Hythlodaeus with her aether incredibly thin and weak from the travel from her current timeframe; she was reinforced by Emet Selch himself. She would accompany them into Elpis and to meet Hermes and his creation Meteion. Traveling through Elpis she would run into Venat, a fellow Ancient and would get tested by her. Alongside the test she would discover how Hermes would act toward others and she liked the man that he seemed to be and yet there was something bothering her. Meteion’s mission bothered her and when she basically became the harbinger of the Final Days she went alongside the other three ancients to the Ktisis Hyperborea and confronted Hermes. Defeating him but needing to escape with the knowledge of what all has happened and the truth of the Final Days intact. With Venat’s help she did just that. Escaping Chiros and then being sent back to her home.
Upon her return home she and the other Scions worked toward finding Meteion and once they did find the location she went and headed down to meet with Hydalen herself. Fighting for her permission to go after Meteion Monori and the Scions emerged victorious and received the blessing from her. With Venat’s passing Monori, the Scions, and the Loporitt crew left the planet and headed toward Meteion’s Nest, a place known as Ultima Thule.
Upon arriving at the area where Ultima Thule was Meteion made her presence known to the Scions. Instantly appearing and knocking out the Scions and when they came to the first of their crew was gone. After coming to Monori and the group began their travels through the landscape. Slowly one by one the Scions would give themselves so that the others could continue. This would go on until Monori was alone with the weight of all of her journeys and adventures weighing on her. She found it hard and stopped many times on the solitary trek up toward the final goal which was Meteion’s nest. Upon reaching the end of the path she remembered words spoken to her from all of her friends, enemies, allies and despite the taunts of Meteion she did not give up. Instead she clutched Azem’s crystal to herself and summoned two ‘new old friends’ of hers. Summoning the pair of Ancients to her aid from the Aetherial Sea. In that moment Emet Selch and Hythlodaeus made Ultima Thule as a place constant and no longer needing the essence of the Scions to be held together. So after summoning them back and having a way to the very Core of Meteion opened her and the Scions dove headfirst after saying her final goodbye to her one time adversary and if she would of been asked friend they pushed onward to finish off this threat.
Beating her way to the very core of Meteion’s nest the Scions and her confronted the coalesced mass of Meteion’s existence in the form of the Endsinger. It was with little effort that the Endsinger tossed aside the Scions and nearly Monori herself when another unlikely ally appeared after Monori saved the Scions with a teleporter made of magics that sent them back to the Ragnarok. The unlikely ally that came to her aid was none but Zenos in the form of the dragon Shinryu with whom he had merged in the earlier attempt on her life in Ala Mihgo. Flying on the back of her once and still mortal enemy she used Azem’s crystal once more and summoned more allies to her side and faced down the Endsinger defeating her and restoring to her the faith in the universe. Allowing her to sing the song of faith, love and light once more before she passed. With Meteion’s song sung Monori stood up and Meteion left her and Zenos on the empty expanse. It was here that Zenos asked for the final fight between the two of them. Monori could not hold back the thrill of the moment as she pulled her Dragoon Crystal and shifted into her lance wielding form and looked him straight in the eyes and smirked. Telling Zenos that she would not deny him and that this was to be a fight between them to end all fights. As the final blows came out it devolved into a fist fight between the two rivals. At the end of the exchange Monori stood tall and Zenos lay upon the endless star field his life essence all spent in the exchange they just finished up.
As Monori lay there staring up at the sky of endless stars Monori felt a pull, a draw to continue her adventures in a place that she was needed. Closing her eyes she would open them to find herself in the midst of a vast forest. A far call from where she had been and standing she shifted back into her White Mage Crystal and began to travel toward the nearest settlement, the crystal of Azem glowing in her pocket for a moment before its power fading away and becoming dormant once more. As it seemed that the crystal had granted her wish and dropped her somewhere full of adventure and new friends to make.
