That caused Renitra to pause. She was taking a while to process everything that Yugiri has said.
First off, Gosetsu surviving the collapse of Doma Castle. That was actually possible. Renitra had seen him fight. He was a tough as nails man. He helped fight in the Nadaam after all and even managed to knock out a few opponents in his one with one strike of his katana. The second bit however, not so believable. [“Yotsuyu changing her heart? That's a bit… hard for me to swallow. She willingly accepted Zenos as her master and saviour. You saw the hatred in her eyes for her countrymen. All because of her parents. It was sad to see her that way. Unless… perhaps I underestimated Gosetsu’s charm… he isn't a man to mince his words after all. He says what he means and means what he says. Even if he has to make it sound all dramatic like those plays in Kugane.]”
Then the talk of Zenos. Renitra's stomach twisted in the memory of how his resonant powers shut her down for the fourth time in Provo’s streets. She paled and instantly her stomach lurched. “I'm going to be sick!” She called out to the bartender who quickly handed her a bucket. She grabbed it and hunched over bracing for her body to vomit… after a few minutes she took a few deep breaths to calm her stomach. She looked up at Yugiri with an embarrassed and apologetic tone. [“pray forgive me Yugiri-chan. But I believe you with Zenos. I saw him. I remembered what he did to me. And to Krile. I wanted revenge… yet he managed to beat me again… it hurt.. the failure makes me sick to my stomach…]”
Her eyes welled a little and she looked away. “[Zenos threw me into this world… he is my key to go home. And to end his madness in Ala Mhigo and Doma once and for all… I just hope Krile and the Scions are OK..]” She then remembered something extra. “[He didn’t recognise me as the Warrior of Light. He claimed the one he faced was some guy named Alexander… Ive met him… he is not a nice person…]”

Renitra lit up when Yugiri asked if she was a scion. What's more, she spoke in Doman. She didn't needher Echo here as her father taught her to use the language when she was young. She pulled her hood down to reveal her head and hair and nodded to Yugiri.
“[Hai.]” She said effortlessly. “[Scion desu. Anata wa Mistwalker san desu ka?]” (Translation: Yes. I'm a scion. Are you Ms Mistwalker?)
Renitra didn't need an answer to that one. She knew well and true who it was and smiled in relief. “[I'm sorry if my attempts to draw your attention were incredibly crude… I also apologize for my terrible hand writing. Eorzean text is one thing… Doman and Hinagan… not so much. You shouldn't be here drowning your sorrows. It isn't like you at all Yugiri-Chan. Or Is it…. If you'll forgive my presumption… to mourn for a comrade?]”
Renitra remembered the last time she had seen Yugiri and her Lord Hien. It was after the successful assault of Doma Castle.. and the great price their friend, and Yugiri’s fellow retainer Gosetsu had paid to ensure the day was won. “[The last time I saw you was just after the fall of Doma Castle… I still miss Gosetsu-sensei. I didn't know him well. But the times we had worked together I liked him a lot. I remember how we worked together on the plains of Cartenau with Cid and Nero to summon Omega to combat Shinryu. Do you remember?]”
She frowned. “[I'm being presumptuous again… it's hard to prevent… it's a long story to explain… but in short. I went though the Doman Liberation campaign and the one for Ala Mhigo… but at the moment of triumph against Zenos yae Galvus, i fell… yet he didn't land a decisive blow. Instead he threw me through time and space to this world… as if daring me to come back and finish what had been started. Yet there are some in this world who claim the life I lived is theirs. Not mine…]”

Renitra heard the boisterous call for a drinking contest and whipped her head around. She froze and stared gobsmacked and slack jawed at the sight. “n…no…way…” she said softly. There was no way she was seeing that. She saw black hair, purple armor befitting a Shinobi of the Far East, and scales across her cheeks indicating the woman was a Raen Au Ra. There was no mistaking her. This was the Doman Shinobi, Yugiri Mistwalker in the flesh! Renitra's heart did a leap as she made the assumption but then she stopped herself. This could very easily be the one from Alexander's claimed memories. The one where HE did everything. The one where HE attacked Doma Castle and saw Gosetsu die to allow the squad to escape.
“... Do I dare ..” Renitra asked. Eventually she made her mind up. Whether it was the Yugiri from her world or Alexander's world, she was litterally trying to drown herself in the cups. Something had to be done. She stepped forward and sat beside Yugiri and signalled for a drink and a meal of her own. “Do shadows drink alone…?” She whispered hoping Yugiri would hear her and engage conversation. “Or has the crown tyrant and viceroy broken you despite everything…?”
Renitra waited but she got the feeling Yugiri didn't hear her. She mentally facepalmed and found a small piece of parchment. She decided to try and write on it and pass it to her. To help with discretion, she attempted to write it in Doman text. Unfortunately Renitra's hand written Doman and Hinagan text is… atrocious. However she was able to write down in a clumsy large block capital sort of manner of the barely literate: “A shadow should never be alone. In the darkmans or the light” before slipping it to her.
Another pause. Renitra rubbed the bridge of her nose at the lack of notice. She wrote down one last message. This one was in the form of a haiku. A type of poem known in the Far East.
A Scion never leaves A friend alone in their grief I am Beside you.
With that message she tapped Yugiri on the shoulder and handed it to her.

The nights had become colder as of late within Provo. Both physically and emotionally cold. During the sunset of one such day, Renitra had brought it upon herself to tap into one of her old forgotten skills of weaving and leather working, two disciplines of the hand she had learnt in her youth and as an adventurer to craft herself a robe to keep warm during colder climates. She had finished constructing it when she placed it on a chair to see it spread out when she paused and frowned. It was a yellow construct… with Mi'qote ears on a hood. Even when she wasn't trying to, she couldn't help but think about her friends. About her beloved Krile and how they were waiting for her back in Eorzea to finish what had been started in Ala Mhigo.
Renitra shook her head slightly. She had needed to get out more and thus put on the robe and pulled the hood over her head before heading out into the darkmans (an old slang word for the darkness used by Rogues of Limsa Lominsa) of the night.
Renitra's destination was a tavern. She felt she might pick up one or two rumors about ways to leave Zephon and return to Eorzea, not to mention potential tasks for monetary gain. She was an adventurer after all. As she pushed the door open to one of the taverns she went into the jovial atmosphere and sat down by the bar. However she had a feeling something wasn't right. She looked around slightly thinking someone was watching her. At times like this she wished she still had her collection of Soul Crystals. While she did remember tricks from weapons she had trained with, she wasn't exactly able to fully harness those weapons abilities without those soul crystals. Coming to Zephon she only had two. Dragoon and Astrologian, both of which was hanging as round her neck tied to a leather choker...
She looked again and tensed herself, her free hand tucking into her Krile Robe and reaching for a dagger she stashed inside as a safety precaution. She still had her spear and Astrometer on her back too but you could never be too careful with weapons...

Renitra rolled her eyes at Clyde’s statement to Avoid the Sahagin. “That’s an obvious plan.” She said simply. “Unless they’re looking to summon Leviathan again, I'm gonna live and let live” Back in Eorzea, the Sahagin worshiped the Primal Leviathan. She had fought Leviathan once and survived. That was the only real ‘victory’ before everything went to the seventh hell for her.
Renitra looked at the map again. As she did so, she asked Clyde a question. “Have you met a friendly Sahagin? I have. His name was Novv. Back in Eorzea, he was a Clutchfather. SO he basically was supposed to look after newly hatched Sahagin. They also had like… a matriarchy. They were led by a queen… At least that's how Novv explained it to me. I can respect his wishes to keep his people alive. And I'm grateful he was willing to entreaty with the Maelstrom. And with me..” She sighed at the memory. “I… shouldn;t be rambling about myself.” She said finally.
With the map restudied, she went into the mouth of the cave and began tracing her route with the map. “It's pretty straightforward to start before it splits three ways. Which way should we go first Clyde? Left, right, or down? I say we should go right. It looks like the first treasure is close to the start on the right path. If we have to bail out, we can at least say we claimed something. Right? Even if it’s like a Choco Cruise T-shirt or some silly souvenir.”
She eventually stopped at the three way fork that the map showed. Indeed, there was three paths on. One going left, one going right, and a small slanted hole going down like a stairless staircase. She looked at Clyde eagerly, with the hope he would choose for her. She didn’t want to do all the choices. She felt it wouldn’t be as fun for Clyde.

Renitra looked at the map she had been given by the cruise staff and frowned at the gaping mouth of the cave she and her assigned partner Clyde was supposed to go spelunking in.
She had received the invite to the cruise by being an adventurer which is something that took her by surprise but she willingly joined. “Times like this I'm glad I didn’t bring casual dress…” she muttered. She was in her yellow armor and blue gauntlets with her spear and astrometer strapped on her back. She looked over the map one last time and reflected on the cruise staff's instructions. “Ok… so we need to find some sort of… treasure. Probably pretend but still. It could be worse. Not to mention I’ve been into similar positions before. It’ll be like when I began as an adventurer going into Satasha to fight pirates.”
She let off a smile to Clyde. “We’ll be done in no time. Especially since we don’t have to worry about Sahagin… although… wouldn’t hurt to expect something going wrong…” she sighed. “I just psyched myself out of this…” she lowered the map and rubbed her temple with her free hand trying to calm her nerves. All this being stuck in Zephon and her misadventures had done a number on her emotionally after all. Her eyes turned to Clyde, her partner. Since they were paired up he had remained silent. She was wondering if he was a mute. “You’re not much of a talker are you?” She asked eventually. “How do you suggest we tackle this task?” She decided to try and bring him into the task rather than exclude. After all, she had to work with tons of adventurers, of all shapes and sizes back in the days. She couldn’t afford to be picky, such as when she was asked to follow the footsteps of Bardam in thr Azim Steppe.

Renitra clambered onto the big yellow bird. She gave it a scratch under the chin with a slight smile. “Something's never change. There's always a big friendly Chocobo no matter where I go…” she said. Then she sighed. “I miss you Peck…” Peck was the name of her personal Chocobo companion back home in Eorzea. Last she saw him, he was carrying the unconscious Krile Baldesion away from Gyr Abania following the rescue operation.
When Caius introduced himself properly, Renitra thought once again that his last name as Drabonblade. Ser Caius Drabonblade. Had a nice ring to it. At least on Renitra's mind. It sounded Ishgardian. She couldn't help herself but ask. “You're definitely not from Eorzea? Your name… it has an Ishgardian feel to me. You kinda do come off as a Temple Knight… I mean that as a compliment.”
Her mind went back to everything that has happened in Zephon since she arrived leading up to meeting Caius and joining his trip. “I should be fine… I've… been through… a lot ..” she trailed off. As if the weight of her own words hit her. She had been through a lot. She let off a soft sniffle at recollection. She clenched her fists as they grabbed the chocobos reins. The bird tilted it's head in concern as tears started to well in her eyes.
Renitra tried her best to keep herself composed but the emotion was getting to her. “... Am I really as good as I'm supposed to be…?” She asked aloud. “Zenos said I'm not the Warrior of Light… that Rising Stones boy claimed to be the Warrior of Light… how.. is that even possible? How do we share the same memories… it.. doesn't make sense… he had no right… to say what he said…” her fists tightened as more tears slid down. Eventually… she blinked rapidly trying to stop them. She had to put on a brave face. That and she doubted Caius would want to listen to it…

That was below the belt. Renitra's memories flashed through her head. The Bloody banquet, the summoning of Shinryu. Her face started to turn bright red as anger started flooding her. "That... was low... even for you..." She said evenly.
"And... another thing... How fucking dear you marginalise everyone else who made a sacrifice!" she drew her spear. "Minfillia DIED because of that banquet. Y'sthola was blinded! Even Haucherfaunt-'' Her eyes started to water. "He gave his life for me.." she said softly. “You have no idea what that felt like watching him die… You have no idea how much I wanted to rip Thordan and Zepherin so much… and you DARE minimize him! Same for Ysale, Gosetsu and Conrad! EVEN KRILE! I will never forgive those Garleans, nor their little bitch Fordola for what they did to her! I.. I…” she raised her spear and aimed for Alexander's chest. “I… I'LL KILL YOU! Just LIKE I SHOULD HAVE DONE FORDOLA!” She began. But her voice was trembling. Her body was twitching and trembling. However oddly enough her Astrometer refused to come to life.
She tried to force herself to thrust her spear into him but she couldn't bring herself to. All the emotion, anger, frustration that had been boiling over throughout the Ala Mhigan liberation campaign, throughout her adventures in the Far East, throughout Zenos throwing her into this world, and losing to him a third time. It was too much. Renitra’s eyes filled with tears and her spear dropped with a clatter. She fell to the ground and started to go fetal. The only thing that came out of her was choked sobbing noises. “I want to go home..” she whimpered. “I want to go home…” More sobbing noises came out. “Why… am I here… Why did Zenos do this to me… Why didn’t he kill me in Ala Mhigo…”

Renitra stifled a giggle at Yuffie's introduction to herself. Especially since she claimed to be the leader of the Drabonblades. However she couldn't bring herself to lie. She had some ideas on how to tease Yuffie but again, she didn’t know her well enough to do so comfortably and thus decided to come out with it. "While It would be funny to entertain your tale Lady Yuffie, but I regret to inform you, I'VE MET Ser Caius and Lady Celes. I know you aren't the Drabonblade's leader. But it is very nice to make your acquaintance. My name is Renitra Starspear. In the world I was once in, they called me many things. The most common title they used was the WARRIOR OF LIGHT. But, enough about me. I wanted to ask you something. It was about Materia. Namely, the types you asked for."
Renitra took a breath. "To be honest, when you said Knights of the Round and Bahamut... I was triggered. I had flashbacks to what they were capable of. In my world, the Knights of the Round were 12 knights who served the Archbishop of the Holy See. In short... monsters who hid behind faith. I still miss the one they took from me... So... Who are the Knights of the round to you? Monsters? Primals? Holy men? Same for Bahamut. In my world he was a Dragon. A figure once summoned to induce the moon to fall on us all. In short, a herald of a calamity.”
Renitra sighed softly. “I’m sorry for blurting all this out Miss Kisaragi. It’s hard still thinking in the logic of my world. I’m no longer in my world and it’s honestly terrifying to me. While I’m on the subject of ‘logic from my world’, we could actually MAKE our own materia. Although I don’t think it’ll have the same properties as the ones you want from the Saint of Nymeia.” She then flinched. “I-i mean Father christmas! Dang It. Thats what we call Father Christmas in my world you see… I apolgoise for the slip of my tongue!” she then did another Doman/Eastern bow to apologise.

Rentira Starspear was lying inside a small hammock in a road caravan bound for the Kahiko Valley. Renitra just so happened to see pictures from others about it and the suppsed ruins within the valley reminded her of the Allagian Empire. This further cemented inside Renitra's mind that Zephon was yet another Reflection of the Source Hyaedalyn, her home world. (More proof to explain how her rival Zenos was able to send her here after her third fight with him).
Renitra stretched as she looked out the window of her carridge's window to look at the sights. there was a forest fading out, belding with descending landscape, indicating to her they were near her destination. She was on the caravan to begin with because she volunteered to look after an archeology dig in one of the ruins of the valley when she saw out the corner of the window that there was a disturbance. She went out of the caravan and poked her head out the door to get a better look.
She didn't see the so called murderous machine that Yunuukseyuq's friend had seen and was running from... however she did see Yunuukseyuq break through the foliage. her eyes widened. "Gobbie!" She said with a sharp squeak to her voice. She had recognised the beings posture. It was definately a goblin.. only without it's gas mask. "Gobbie climb onto caravan with the fastness, yes?" she called out to her hoping she would hear. She had even taken a goblin accent in an attempt to come off as friendly. Renitra had a fair bit of exp[ereince with Goblins before after her big adventure with her friends Cid and Y'sthola in the Dravanian Forelands. The colossous WhirlygigGiant turned primal ALEXANDER. Renitra chuckled slightly at the memory fo working with the goblins. Their speech seemed to have stuck into her brain.
"With the fastness! Lest Gobbie lose Gobbie's turnsense!" she called again and opened the door hoping Yunuukseyuq would jump in
