ONCE A TURK ALWAYS A TURK
Tseng took a sip of his coffee as he watched people walk by. No one seemed distressed, and he had to question that a little bit. The town definitely looked like it had seen better days, but no one seemed phased by it at all. Did destruction happen often here? Better yet, who were the people to cause it? Judging by the large area, it had to be mulitiple people, or a small group of powerful people. His first thought went to the SOLDIERS from Gaia, but there was only a small chance of it being them.
Sighing as he took another drink of his coffee, he was about to start his journey again when someone stopped in front of the mirror. The person looked exhausted, and...familiar. "Rufus." Tseng muttered to, well, nobody. The blonde started to walk away, and Tseng was about to get up and go after him when he noticed that Rufus had come into the shop as well. Deciding to let him get the coffee he looked like he desperately needed, Tseng stayed put for a while longer.
This wasn't like the Rufus he knew. That Rufus had an aura around him that demanded attention, and everyone stopped to listen and obey. That Rufus was the man he reported to, the one he was loyal to through thick and thin. This Rufus looked the same, but he had lost that aura. He looked defeated. Was is this world? Deciding to make himself known, Tseng stood up with his coffee and made his way to Rufus's table. "Mind if I join you, sir?" This could be interesting.
