In the months since she arrived here, one Joanna Baltas had managed to accomplish quite a bit. More than she was initially expecting, if she was being perfectly honest. She'd managed to make a name for herself as something of a "traveling healer/undead slayer", she'd succeeded in her goal of reuniting with at least one of her allies from her own world, and she even got a chance to meet the ridiculously handsome pirate who she stumbled upon when she first arrived again and repay them for the kindness and advice they had shown her. All in all, Joanna was feeling pretty good, but there was one thing that was always in the back of her mind. And now that she'd succeeded in several of her short-term goals, she decided to finally act upon it.
Not long after her arrival, she met a man named Caius who was, to say the least, very interesting. He seemed like a nice guy, though, and she enjoyed the brief time they spent together. More than that, though, he was apparently the leader of a guild of sorts. From what she remembered, they mostly went around helping people; slaying monsters who drew too close to the cities or going after criminals. She had to admit, that sounded like a really interesting life, and the only reason she didn't try to join way back then was because she had so much on her plate already and wanted to get her bearings straight. Now that she'd done that and more, she figured that something like Caius' guild would be great.
She knew they were based in Torensten, so that was where she headed next. After a bit of asking around, she finally found the building that they apparently used as a headquarters of sorts. Letting out a sigh to steel her nerves, she quietly opens the door and steps inside, looking around a bit. When she doesn't immediately notice anyone inside, she decides to try calling out to see if someone was around "Um...please pardon me if it's rude to barge in like this...my name is Joanna Baltas, and I'm looking for Caius..." It occurred to her that she didn't actually know what his last name was as she struggled to "remember" it. Oh well. Hopefully, there'd be plenty of time for that later. Provided he was even here.

"Mmmmmfffhh..."
Caius was, believe it or not, actually at the base at the time. He wasn't there constantly, but it was the one place that he actually stayed still in for more than a little bit. It was while he was here that he had assisted Celes in training the recruits, hoping to give General Chere a little breather. Though knowing her, she was off working on something. Her lack of ability to rest, well... One wouldn't say it annoyed Caius more than just worried him. Very much worried him. Which was funny, as while he might not realize it, Caius had the same problem of overworking himself without much rest. And that rest typically came when he overexerted himself and laid on one of the couches in the little hovel that constituted their makeshift base of operations within Torensten. What had been meant as a short break to catch his breath turned into him dozing off with the hood of his jacket hanging over his head. But the sound of someone calling out would stir him, and brown eyes blinked open as he gingerly sat up. Pulling off his hood, he let out a yawn as he got to his feet. Looking at the clock, he let out a little groan in annoyance at how long it had been. Pushing it aside, he did his best to rub the sleep from his eyes as he headed for the entrance, to try and find the source of the voice. He had heard them say they were looking for Caius? He didn't hear the rest. At least, not very well. When he headed to the door though, he was surprised to find that someone had barged in -- the woman from back in the woods. His surprise showed a moment on his face, but it was quickly replaced with a gentle smile. "Hey Joanna" He spoke softly, trying to knock the sleep from his voice. "Fancy seeing you here. What can we do for ya?"
