This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. "She does, but she'll be ok soon, I'm... I'm going to make sure of it"
She was sorry to disapoint Zell of course, maybe she could make it up to him later, once her sister recovered. Yes thats what she would do! If he still needed help of course, maybe Light could even come with her! She appriciated his offer to help, even if he coudn't acctually do it. It was nice to know their were kind people like him in this world. Whoever his friends were, they were lucky to have him and she wished him the best in finding them and his memories out there.
"I understand Zell, thank you for the offer. I feel like... This is something me and my friends are supposed to handle anyway. We'll be fine I promise, I hope you find what your looking for to"
She wondered why the other moogle never spoke up but... It was getting late, she and Mog needed to rest and she was sure Zell needed to get to work on his own goals, namely finding that ship. Her thoughts turned once more to her would be husband as she looked at Zell. The way he acted... It really did remind her of the man she loved. She wondered, if Zell had his memory back would he call himself a hero to? The thought made her smile. She gave a nod to his statement, it was statement.
"Yes your right, it was nice meeting you Zell, I wish you luck on your own journey as well"
His encourgement gave her more confidence, yes... She would defently save Lightining from that digusting parasite holding her body hostage. She was sure as well that she would meet this man again, she felt it. Hopefully he could find what he was looking for, that his journey on the ship he finds will be well worth it. Why they were brought to this world... It was something she wanted to know to. Why they were torn once more from their happy ending. Why once more her sister was forced into a role she didn't choose. Well... She would fix that soon enough.
"I know we will Zell, I know ypu'll find what your looking for to. For now.... Goodbye"
She turned to leave she and Mog giving a wave to the moogle as she walked away. Their were many thoughts running through her head now, but the one most previlent was her sister. She noticed it last time. That parasite didn't like the light of Starseeker's arrows. It burned it, made it feel pain. She paused for moment, looking to the sky before moving on.
She had a lot more in store for that hellish creature.
She wished the best for this man, more so if he really was similar to Snow. He just wanted to find the fragements of his past. To follow any lead that could lead him to it. She had her own goals, she coudn't guide him or anything. It was sad but... She had her own goal right now and she needed to be here to focus on it tommorow. It would be the day. Together... They would be together again, she woudn't let go.
"I've been so focused on my own... Goal I'm afraid this is my first time hearing if it. Though as far as a ship your defently on the right track! I know I've seen them around here"
She coudn't go with him. As much as she would want to help Zell under normal circumstance she just coudn't. She had to be here to help Lightining, to save her. She coudn't just go looking for ships or go on a sailing adventure right now. She coudn't leave this matter to Fang and Noctis alone. Not becasue she coudn't trust them to, no far from it. This was her sister, it was as simple as that. Her sister... Who did so much for her and in the end for everyone else. This time she deserved to be saved. She deserved to have happiness. To wake up snd know that her sister was ok...
She coudn't leave, she had to be here to do what was right. A hand went to the blame sheathed across her back. Her blade, a promise. It was the other thing she would do today. She was going to put it away safetly so that when Lightining was back to normal she could return it to her.
So what was her goal? It was clear to her but of course Zell didn't know. She gave a light smile first looking to Mog, then back to this new friend she had made.
"I'm going to help my sister. She's... In trouble right now. Tommorow... I'm going to save her, me and my two other freinds... Free her from the thing holding on to her"
She then frowned, shaking her head, her eyes praticuly told what she was going to say next.
"I'm sorry... Normally I'd offer to help but... This is something me and my friends need to do together. For as long as I can remeber my sister has protected me.... Now I need to do the same for her"

"Where I'm from their were only two I knew of... The place I lived in, where everyone alive lived.. and Valhalla"
The implication of who lived in Valhalla was likely easy to guess, the fallen... The dead. A world where weak spirits served strong ones.. She remebered learning about it from Mog and Light. It... Wasn't a place she was sure she liked much, but she understood why it existed. Though... She did feel bad to. The other Yeul's had to stay there now, forever... Even if it was willingly that kind of life... It didn't seem like a happy one. Even after all she went through against Caius she felt bad for him to. For both of them their fate was to forever look after the dead. She had to wonder... Did they regret it?
She looked out to sea as Zell asked his his question. Crossing her arms she tried to think up an answer. It was something she often thought on herself. As much as she disliked it she could at least get why this world would want to grab people like Lightining or Fang. They were powerful warriors, they could make things happen. But not everyone brought here was a warrior. Her only other real guess was the world, or whoever was doing it needed a varity of different people. But why? For what purpose? Part of her wanted to know, to know why they were dragged from there homes and dropped here.
But so many times learning the truth had made everything so much worse.
"I've been curious myself, me, my sister amd a friend were brought here at different times. Maybe... It needs people for something? The world or... Whoever is doing it. Or maybe they just enjoy plucking people up and seeing what they do... I just don't know yet, I coudn't say for sure"
It seemed the man was having memory issues. Litle bits at a time but nothing reliable. That was just... So sad. Sarah coudn't imagine forgetting her life, forgetting about Snow or Lightining... It would be horrifying! Just the thought was, she imagined for Zell it was must have beem very hard. What if he had family or loved ones he coudn't remeber? He was stuck getting random glimpses and she just knew that must be something he didn't like.
"Sorry... I do, I remember everything from before I came here. Do you think... Maybe you hit your head when you came here? I know trauma to the head can have that effect sometimes... It must be so hard not being able to remeber your past outside of small flashes"
She frowned, it was just such a terrible thing not being able to remeber your past. If it had happened to her she was sure she would be lost, she coudn't imagine losing her memories. For Zell to be acting as calmly as he was about it...

She seemed to surprise the man, his reaction making her giggle. She wasn't trying to be sneaky, was he that deep into speaking with the moogle? He seemed innocent enough to her. It seemed his name was Zell... She honestly found his additude adorable so far, it was refreshing to her. By his question it seemed he like her and her sister wasn't from this... Realm ether. Though she was glad to see a new face it but at the same time it saddened her another person was torn from there home. Was their a reason for it all? She wasn't sure... But she knew it wasn't for their benifet, her sister was proof of that.
"That's right, where I'm from is way different than this place. From what I understand me and my sister just... Woke up here one day"
She wasn't sure what happened to Light after that, but whatever it was led to that parasite controlling her. Her sister was suffering... She was going to end it, she was going to set her free. Then... They could be together again...
One thing at a time Serah
She shook herself from her thoughts when Zell began talking to them again. She continued to find the actions adorable, while Mog himself backed away a bit in the air.
"That's right kupo! No touching the hair, finally got it done right after Serah..."
Mog's words trailed on as Serah stepped foward curisously. She tapped her chin in thought once more. That was something their two worlds had in common. She had assumed their two worlds were different but... No this was such a small thing. After all the Moogles were from the Ocean Of Time right? It made sense they wearn't in other realms ether.
"Their not in mine ether actually or... They wearn't I actually haven't really looked since... Mog?"
The moogle shook it's head sadly, a clear answer to the question.
"Oh... So that's why you came back... We'll find then Mog! We've already seen one! After we help Light..."
She really needed to get her head together, this was the rest day... She needed to remeber that, she also needed to not drag anyone else into this. She, Fang and Noct... They were responsible for her sister's freedom. Besides... It was rude to Zell. She accepted his handshake with one of her own, a wide smile on her face.
"I'ts nice to meet you to Zell!"
Mog gave his own wave as his part og the greeting. Serah felt content for the moment, talking to others helped relax her.
Though the thought of how her sister would defently mistake this situation under normal circumstance made her chuckle just a bit more under her breath.
Zell MIGHT not have the same reaction if the situation came about though.

Not far off from the pair, in quite plain site if someone looked their way was Serah, along with her partner Mog were watching the pair. Serah was leaning on her knees staring at the pait with the curosity while Mog floated around her. She was curious, she didn't remeber seeing anyone else of Mog's kind. Though... If this was another moogle it had a few differences when compared to Mog. Still she coudn't help but look at all the similarities to.
"Do you can recognise it Mog?"
The moogle shook its head in response.
"No, he's not from Vahalla, or the Ocean that I remeber Kupo!"
Serah tapped her chin in thought. It seemed all kinds of people had been brought here to this world. Was it another realm like Serendipity or the Coliseum? A place at no certain spot in time... A world all it's own. It defently wasn't hers, she knew that much. This world brought her and her sister, even Fang to this place. As far as she knew something made in this world latched onto her. But... She was going to free her, they knew where she was.
Today was the day of rest before hand, the calm before the storm, as a playful poke from Mog reminded her. Today she should smile, today she should relax. Because tommorow she would be a soldier for her sister, like she had been for everyone else. She fid like meeting new people so... She decided she would greet this otherwordly moogle. She was curious how similar he was to Mog, besides it would take her mind off of what was to come. So she would stand and make her way over, alone the say noticing a second person already speaking to the moogle. A wild looking man at first glance, she got the impression from his hair and his facial tattoo. She could pratciully feel wild and heroic from her. Wild and heroic like her Snow.. she wished he was here with her, she could use her hero right now...
She gave a playful wave to the duo near the water as she approached. She hoped she wasn't interupting anything but she just had to know!
"Hello! My name is Serah... And this is Mog! I hope were not intruding but..."
She turned to face the smaller of the two, leaning back down to face him.
"Me and my friend here are curious... Are you a moogle to?"
Curiosity glowed in her features, she just had to know. If he was... Then this was great for Mog, it would mean their were moogles in this world to!

Resolve, this time she would see it through
"Host giving you trouble bug?"
She stepped along the rockey terrain to face her sister alongside the others, that was to say... She faced the creature using her skin as a vessel. She didn't have to ask to know what Lightining would want, she didn't need to exchange words. Light would not willingly bend the knee to any man or creature, let alone become it's prisioner. What Lightining would want...
Destroy it, now
She could invision the instruction in her head clearly, and she smiled confidently to the figure of her sister. Though the smile wasn't for the bug, it was for the girl within. She knew what she had to do, Light woudn't want to be a slave to this thing.. so she would free her, no matter what it took to do so.
I love you sis, just wait a bit longer
"Were coming sis, don't worry"
She made the decleration where it could enter their foes ear, if it could hear her so could Lightining-she was sure of that. She looked first to Fang and then to Noctis. Two friends... Two people who also wanted to save her sister.
"Thank you... Both of you"
For what? For standing by her side, for caring about Light enough to save her now. She knew that together they would stop this thing and free her. She didn't want to get to deep in conversation now, it wasn't the time for that... Now was the time for action. She was determined to see this through... To set her shackles loose.
"Let's go Mog!"
As if sharing Serah's determination to free it's former master the little moogle poofed straght into Starseeker's bow form, while Serah herself entered a Ravager stance a bit behind the other two. She would rain arrows from afar, keep the parasite pinned down. She pulled the string of her bow back, already trained on her sister's body. Memories flashed before her eyes, years gone by. On Cocoon, through time. But they didn't make her hand twitch or hesitate. No... Her grip only became firmer.

This time that was her. The roles had been switched. Her goal was clear... Her aim would be true. With her friends she would make this right. This time that was her.

I. BASICS
FULL NAME::Serah Farron NICKNAMES::Meanie Miss Farron GENDER::Female AGE::22 (+500 as a locked away spirit) ORIENTATION::Straght ALIGNMENT::Harmonious
HEIGHT::5'5 HAIR/EYES/SKIN::Serah has long pink hair tied in a ponytail on the side of her head, fair white skin and dark blue eyes DISTINGUISHING MARKS::Though not a physical mark Serah does posses two items on her person that stand out on her, an engagment neclace shaped like Cocoon around her neck and cat shaped earrings on her ears.
II. PERSONA
Serah is a strong, caring girl much in part thanks to the guidence of her older sister. She cares about others and will do what she can to help them, though on the flipside she can also be just as stern with troublemakers. This is shown clearly in how she handles children, speciully if those children happen to be her students. This along with her wisdom and maturity have made her a very effective teacher for the kids of New Bodhum who have dumbed her 'Meanie Miss Farron' because of how strict she can be with them. Her favorite subject to teach is History, mostly due to her own preference for the subject.
Despite the harsh and scarring circumstances she's been through Serah has remained a hopeful spirit. She belivies in a happy future she can make alongside her friends. It's this additude that helps maintain her kind. However that is not to say shes immune to sadness, she simply trys to maintain her cheer in all but the most heart wrenching moments. Serah is a brave woman, more than willing to put herself on the line to help those she cares about, most prominently her sister Lightining and love Snow.
Serah looks up to and respects her older sister. When it comes to a difficult choice or situation she often wonders what Lightining would have done in a given if in her place. She loves her sister deeply and would go to great length if Lightining needed her help, more so if means a reunion after being seperated. Aside from her sister Serah also holds a deep love and affection for her future husband, Snow. She belives him to be a true hero and much like Lightining would follow him anywhere.
Smart, hopeful, kind and determined. These words describe the youngest of the Farron sisters well.
III. HISTORY
Serah was born the youngest of two siblings, her and her sister Claire. While they were still young they lost both their siblings, their father when they were still small and their mother when they were twelve to illness. Claire, having changed her name to Lightining took it upon herself to raise her younger sister, casing Serah to look up to her sister as bother her older sibling and a parental figure. Their was no other family foe them to turn to after all, they only had each other. It stayed this way until Lightining graduated and joined the Guardian Corps, at which point Lightining began to spend less and less time with her younger sister-something that negativily effected Serah and made her feel lonely. This would lead to her meeting ane falling in love With Snow Villers and deciding not to attend the academy as she and her sister had orignally agreed. Her interest in history would over time cause her to vist the Pulse Vestiage, where she evenually found and entered a door venturing into the ruins she was evenuallt chosen and branded by the fal'Cie Anima.
She dreams of becoming Ragnarock and destroying Cocoon, not realizing it is her Focus. Waking up outside the vesitage she notices the brand on her arm and tries to rub it off, only suceeding in making it worse, she leaves the vestage crying and four days later tries to break up with Snow because of her new status as a l'Cie. Snow however refuses and instead begins helping her figure out her Focus. A few days later she meets a woman named Vanille and listens to her problems after giving her advice on the situation. Serah then tells Vanille about her own nightmare of becoming Ragnarock-how she tried to run away from it. However at this point she has now resolved that she can face it alongside her friends. Vanille apoligies to Serah, but at the time she doesn't know why.
The following day Serah goes shopping with Snow to find a birthday present for Lightining. Evenually Serah decides on a survivsl knife as the gift for her, to keep her safe while on duty. That night Snow proposes with two engament necklaces he obtained during their trip, proposing to Serah. A gleeful Serah accepts. They spend that night together watching the fireworks. The next day they both try to tell Lightining about her status as a l'Cie but she thinks their lying so Serah can marry Snow. They try to seek the advice of the fal'Cie, but discover it was discovered and the town is now off limits. While the pair escape PSICOM on an airbike Serah on a ledge to reach the Vestage. However she becomes trapped by the fal'Cie and becomes it's prisioner.
Both Snow and Lightining make their way to Serah, where she tells her sister to save Cacoon before turning to crystal, leaving behind a single crystilized tear for Snow. When the fal'Cie falls into Lake Bresha and crystilizes it Serah becomes a part of it, Snow staying with her while the others leave. She and Snow are later brought aboard the Lindblum but he is forced to leave her behind when reunited with the other l'Cie. After Oprhan is destroyed and Fang and Vanille become the piller holding Cocoon up by becoming Ragnarock Sarah returns to normal. Reuniting with Snow and Lightining she forgives her sister for not beleving her. Snow and her then begin once more the plan for their wedding, this time with her older sisters blessing.
Serah and Snow talk about rebuilding on Gran Pulse as well as saving Fang and Vanille from their crystilized state. Serah decided to become a school teacher in their new home in order to educate children on why Cocoon fell from their side in order to help them grow. Shortly after this she discovers Lightining has vanished.
****** It turns out that the timeline has become corrupted and because of this her sister has vanished from the world, with only Serah rembering her having been their with them on Gran Pulse. The relization leaves confused and devistated. Two years later the residents of Bodum have rebuilt a new village, New Bohdum for them to live in, some like Serah and Snow even learning to use magic, Serah also leans to fight herself, discovering combat skill she didn't know she had. Though Serah becomes a teacher and great help to the children of their new home, she is unable to move on from Lightining's disaperence. She is haunted by it as well as everyone else thinking she is making it up to stay in the past. One day Snow reveals that he belives her and sets out to find Lightining. He returns his engagment necklace as a promise to find her, but a year goes by without anyone seeing him again.
A year later Serah has a strange dream of her sister fighting an unknown man a metorite crashes down and monsters spread across town, with Serah's clothes oddly changing in the process. As she leaves the house she is attacked by a monster but saved by a man calling himself Noel, gives her a moogle able to transform into a weapon to defend herself. Noel claims it is a gift from Lightining and says she is now in a place called Valhalla and that her sister has asked Noel to bring her there. Serah belives her and after finding the needed Artifact and saying farewell to her friends enters the time gate with Noel.
The first place they go is Bresha ruins five years in the future. The ruins are being ravaged by a paradox that summons a being called Atlas from far in the future. With help from a woman named Alyssa they find a device to weaken Atlas so they can defeat it, moving on to the next time period after, this time the the Yaschas Massif ten years in the future, where due to a paradox a solar eclipse has blocked out the sun. They meet an older Hope who informs them about a tribe led by a Seeress named Yeul who could who see the future, and used that power to save her people. He then shows them an oracle drive depicting Lightining. Beliving the Paradox to be the reason the Drive is acting up Noel and Serah set off to another time period to fix it. To this end they take a gate that leads to Oerba 200 years in the future where they meet the man from Serah's dream, Caius as well as Yeul, though not the one Noel knew. After a fight which Yeul later stops they fix the paradox in Oerba and return to Hope, however do to their actions the past was changed and they have no longer met Hope in this timeline. The Yeul of this time appears and gives Serah an odd message, claiming them to be the same. They meet Hope once more who shows them a now fixed Oracle Drive. It shows Cocoon falling and after Noel revealing this is what led to the worlds destruction in his time the two resolve to change the future for the better, Hope offering any help he can give. Stopping in the Void Serah begins to despair that they might never find her sister, but Noel reassures her that they will.
Their next stop is Sunleth Waterscape 300 years in the future. Upon arriving Serah recites Yeul's propchy like she is possesed, much to Noel's worry. She has a vision of Snow being crushed by a giant flan monster and runs ahead of Noel in a panic to try and help him, once they find them the three work together to fight the giant flan but ultimalty has to retreat. Snow explains to them he has also been travling the timeline, like them being asked by Lightining to help. Serah and Noel resolve to resolve the paradox to help him. First travling to the Colisium to recive an Artifact before heading to the Archylte Steppe to defeat the Faeryl there and weaken the giant slime so they can defeat it back in 300 af and prevent the piller from falling. Defeating the creature Snow entrusts Serah's safety to Noel, but Serah notices the brand on his arm and resolves that it is her turn to save him.
They next arrive in Academia 400 years in the future. They see multiple people turn into Cie'th, even running into someone who appears to them to be Caius, who threatens to kill them for messing with the timeline. They then fimd Yeul if this time, who after being attacked falls into their arms and dies, leavimg behind an artifact and claiming Caius was not in the city, convincing the pair they saw an imposter. They travel back 200 years to Augusta Tower they learn that Hope built a proto fal'Cie to keep coccoon up after the piller fades away, but this same fal'Ce killed Hope and the other members of Academia not long after, creating false versions of them to hide the truth. At the top of the tower Yeul gives them another artifact, asking that they protect time. She reveals Caius is immortal, and posses memories of the whole timeline, as well as telling them if they resolve all the paradoxs time will return to how Serah remebers it. She askes them to show her a new future. Fighting the machine, it keeps reviving itself until Serah shouts about Hope's machines drivinf her crazy, after which Serah has a vision and blacks out once more. Througj the next gate they arrive to an alternate version of the 4f timeline, where Hope reveals he scraped the idea after hearing Serah througj the Oracle drive. He reveals his new plab, the new cocoon piller project. Hope reveals he will need Graviton Cores to make it a reality, and Serah and Noel offer to obtain them for him. Alyssa gives them an Artifact to help them, but it is revealed to be a trap that seperates them. Caius seperates them into different parts of the Void Beyond and, after a fight with Caius and him revealing the truth of Serah's sight to her they are trapped in an illusion of their dreams, Serah's being of Lightining, Snow and all their friends being together. Though Serah is tempted by this fake Lightining's offer to stay she refuses, helped to wake up by Vanille and Fang she relizes this is not real, and that she still needs to help her sister in Vahalla. Using the portal they provide Serah goes to help Noel before he becomes trapped in his own dream. Serah follows Noel through his dark dream as people, even Caius leave until it is just him and Yeul, who dies in his arms. Noel the. Begins to float up into the light but Serah reaches out to him to save him, casuing him to remember her. Noel warns Serah if they make to big of a change to history it could cost Serah her life but Serah says they have to for Lightining, adding if they change it fast enough they won't have to worry. Mog, newly freed by Lightining Bringa them new info on Caius. They next exist a time gate in New Bodum 700 years in the future, now a wasteland where they find Lightining, who claims this to be a future she coudn't save. Once Lightining exaims everything to them, Serah correctly theorises that Caius plan is to turn the world timeless in order to free Yeul from her fate. Lightining says they will need to go to 500 AF, where Caius seeks to do this by destroying both the new and old cocoon. Serah asks if they will be together after its all done, but lighting tells her 'one thing at a time'
The pair enter 500 AF Acadamia in Caius, as they travel through it they hear Yeul's voice telling them not to kill Caius and the goddess Etro once they come into conflict with Chaos who opens a wormhole. Serah and Noel follow him on an airship pioleted by Sazh, where they jump through the portal and come into conflict with Caius one more time on the beaches of Vahalla. Noel refuses to finish off Caius, but he stabs himself, causing him and the heart of chaos to fade away. The Final Paradox solved Mog worriedly says he can't feel Lightining. Though hopeful, Serah has one final vision and dies in Noel's arms.
Serah's spirit goes to Vahalla and is claimed by chaos in Etro's throne. Lightining moars her sister, now trapped with the other spirits of Yeul. Serah's spirit appears before Lighting and tells her of her resolve to do what she did, and says she has no regrets. She askes Lightining to promise not to forget her and that they will meet again before fading away.
***** After their last meeting Serah's spirit was able to enter Lightining, resting alongside her until it was purged by the god Bhunivelze, later clsiming he would revive her to Lightining later on despite this, Serah's soul in actuality having been saved by a newly born Lumina and residing withen her, the truth of which is layer revealed to Lightining. Lumina later reveals her origns to Lightining as she struggles to fight Bhunivelze, this allows Lightining to accept her feelings and calls for aid. Once Lightining is able to sever Bhunivelze's hold over humanity's souls Serah's is among the ones able to return, beyond glad to see her sister once more as they embrace. After Bhunivelze's defeat Serah joins her sister in this new world, being one of the few who remeber the previous world.
