The blond-haired individual essentially hammered down his distaste for his home of Ul'dah. Perhaps he had some unresolved conflict? Regardless, Keimusho still thought that it was at least worth visiting once. The Eorzean Alliance did help out Doma in its time of need after all and Ul'dah was a part of it. Besides he didn't go into much detail into how bad it was. The only thing Keimusho knew about the place were the formidable paladins, gladiators, and thaumaturges that were in the city-state.
The talk of Lady Yugiri also intrigued the ninja. Talks of her made her seem like the type that requires time in order to form a bond. To that regard, it was a trait that Keimusho shared with her and alot of other shinobi. Professionalism is of course one of the shinobi's greatest qualities. "Perhaps that's a trait that alot of shinobi have," Keimusho responds.
The blond-haired individual went on to explain that he was on the inside of the castle alongside Lord Hien. This was followed by an introduction and a confirmation that he was not only one of the Scions, but THE one that he didn't meet. Keimusho had to process what Alexander meant when he introduced himself. "So he's the Warrior of Light?! But how? He perished when the castle collapsed!" the ninja thought. Keimusho was baffled by this thought. This certainly couldn't be what he meant, was it? The only way to be certain was to ask the individual in question. "Apologies I have neglected to introduce myself. I am Keimusho of the Onishi clan." he said with a bow. Keimusho would usually introduce himself with his aliase of Mu, but he felt like this was a worthwhile exception. "Forgive me if I am mistake but... by the sounds of your introduction, I have come to the conclusion that you would be... him. But the logical side of me concludes that this couldn't be the case. Eorzea's hero perished after the castle collapsed after all."

"Your a friend of hers? One of the Scions perhaps? They are the only ijin I am aware of whom she converses with. Not that I know that much about her. We only been acquainted a handful of occasions." Keimusho responds. The individual then explains from where he came though he didn't seem to be to fond of it. "Ul'dah? Was that the city-state in the Thanalan region? Hmm I have yet to visit there... Mayhap that be something I seek out to do if we find a way back to our world." Keimusho responds. Keimusho never did get to fully explore the Aldenard continent after the deliverance of Doma. Most of his time there was spent in Idyllshire or in Gyr Abania. Granted, if he did manage to go back, he would simply have to continue the effort of assassinating Zenos. Besides the blond-haired individual didn't make the trip sound worthwhile. It couldn't be that bad could it?
The conversation shifted towards the time Doma Castle was taken from the Garleans. It seemed like yesterday for Keimusho, which is justified considering that to him it was technically only a few months ago. The question in itself was odd to him because the ninja doesn't remember seeing this individual either. "You assisted in the flooding of Doma Castle as well? That's odd. I don't remember seeing you either." he responded. "Though I wasn't inside of the castle itself. I was on the outside preventing Garlean forces from entering. Still... I'm sure that I would remember seeing your face. You would stand out in the Far East." he continued. Keimusho scratch his head thinking on it. "Were you a Scion that wasn't mentioned to me? I met with the Scions of the Seventh a single time after Doma's freedom was won. All of them except for Eorzea's Warrior of Light."

Keimusho nodded as the guards allowed for the ninja to join. He walked forward to meet with the blond-haired individual. He opted to take a moment to examine him. At his side was an elegant bastard sword. At his back was what most would probably make out as a shield at a first glance, but Keimusho knew better. That was one of those globes that the astrologians use. He didn't think much of this at first. After all he met a few people here that used gunblades and they weren't a part of the Garlean empire. Besides he wasn't type to quickly jump to conclusions without the proper justification.
This would soon change as the two engaged in small talk. The individual would initiate this by asking if he was from Doma. This question surprised him and in some sense relieved him. He wasn't pleased that people were being snatched away from their homes with seemingly no way to return. However, it was nice to know that he wasn't the only one here from his homeworld. He would nod. "So you must be from the same world as I. What would they call it in the west?... Hydaelyn?" Keimusho said as he scratched his head. "But yes, you would be correct. I am from Doma. I am a shinobi as well. Not one of Lady Yugiri's, though I have worked with her in the past. Albeit not as directly as the Scions do." he continued.
This prompted the ninja to ask some questions of his own. "Does that mean that you are acquainted with her as well? I ask only because you don't appear to be from Othard or Hingashi. By your dress I would assume that you hail from somewhere in Eorzea. Coerthas perhaps?" he asked.

Keimusho still wasn't fully used to this adventuring thing. The thing about wandering around without a specific purpose was just foreign to him. In the Source, the ninja only traveled outside of Othard to assist in combating the Garlean empire. The only exception was when he celebrated Doma's liberation in Eorzea. Even that took some convincing from members of his clan. The Au Ra's adventuring exploits so far yielded an elderly companion (which he left in Torensten for safety reasons), a severed horn (which luckily has grown back), and an encounter with a cult. It definitely wasn't a typical start to an adventure around the world, but really what adventure was?
After Keimusho's horn grew back he sought out to explore Zephon once more. After inquiry of certain areas on the Zephon map, he would learn that a tower called the World Sight exists as the resting place of a "Warrior of Light". That title intrigued the ninja, who wondered what the similarities between this Warrior of Light and the Warrior of Light that lived in his world. Did this hero possess an special ability like the Echo? It was doubtful. As far as he knew the Echo did not work in this world. Though he did experience Echo-like visions in the Headstone Forest. However, these were of his own memories and were accompanied by the illusions caused by the forest. Keimusho believed that this Warrior was blessed by the gods of this world or as he would refer to them, "kami". Keimusho hoped that visiting his tomb could yield some sort of answer.
The ninja approached what appeared the be a group of people. On a closer inspection they were guards escorting a blond-haired individual. "Pardon me. Would this happen to be the tomb of the Warrior of Light?" he asked the surrounding individuals. "I have come to pay my respects," the ninja states.

Keimusho was completely angered by the way the situation developed. What did those eyes do that made the cult feel that it was a necessity to take Aldrich as a hostage? To Keimusho's surprise Balthier would not only give up the eyes, but take Aldrich's place. This was the last thing that the ninja expected. Keimusho gripped the kodachi at his back, contemplating to try and free the thief. However, he calmed himself as Balthier spoke. "Keep an eye on your friend for me, would you?", he told Mu. Keimusho would respond with a simple nod. Keimusho at that moment realized that if he retaliated now then Balthier's sacrifice would have been for nothing. He needed to worry about Aldrich's safety.
After the cultists released the elder, they made their departure with the thief. Keimusho would make a vow to repay the thief for his sacrifice, whenever they would meet again. The ninja doubted that the cultists would to kill Balthier as it was more likely that they would have already attempted to already if they had lethal intent. Keimusho would head back to the residential district with the elder in search of a house. This day only served to remind the ninja that he could not keep the elder with him everywhere he went.

The armored-individual's response was rather puzzling for Keimusho. Did that mean that he was a race he was unfamiliar? Or was he something beyond modern comprehension? Either way it was clear that he wasn't from Keimusho's world nor the world that they inhabited now. Perhaps the warrior's armor was the sole similarity to Keimusho's homeland.
After the individual turned his attention to the announcements, the shinobi would follow suit. The rules were simple enough and it seemed that the coordinators of the event went to great lengths to ensure that bystanders will be unharmed. The fact that the competition was a team effort kinda relieved Keimusho. He didn't want his broken horn to impair his performance, so being paired with two more individuals would hopefully remedy the handicap. Keimusho would continue to listen closely so he could know who he would be paired with.
First Keimusho's "name" was announced. The announcement was simple yet still managed to elicit such a response from the crowd. The next two names announces were a pleasant surprise. And what a coincidence it was. Keimusho would be paired with Caius and the man shrouded in genji armor. Apparently his name was Gilgamesh, it certainly wasn't a name that was common in Keimusho's homeland. The description that the announcer gave was really thought-provoking though. It was stated that he was from another world just as the ninja speculated, but he was also referred to as "The Voidwalker." The ninja could've pondered on what that meant all day if it weren't for the very near competition. Caius's commanded much less head scratching. He was simply intrigued that the mercenary managed to slay a Lich. If that was true then it was no wonder that the Dragonblades has the reputation that it does.
After the announcements came to a close, the ninja would traverse towards the camp to strategize with his teammates.

"The dragon's days? Was he specifically talking about Bahamut?," Keimusho thought to himself. "Perhaps it would be in your best interest to elaborate what these 'dragon's days' are," said Keimusho. "No," A new voice echoed throughout the alleyway. It was the remaining cultist specifically the one wielding the lance. Keimusho turns towards the lancer. "Then it seems that I'll have to beat the answer out of you," the ninja responds. "I wouldn't attempt that if I were you. Lest you wish for the annihilation of your companion," the lance says. "Are you really in a position to say that? We have your two buddies compromised," said Keimusho. "Oh, I would argue that I am in fact in that position. Because I'm not talking about the thief." A fourth cultist emerges and pushes an elderly individual on the ground. It was Aldrich. Keimusho had a look of disgust on his face, shielded by his mask. "You really shouldn't leave the elderly on their own like this. They could get hurt," the new cultist said with a sadistic smirk. "Let me make this clear. Give me the eyes or old man dies," the lance asserts.
Keimusho was vexed by this situation. Not only because they had Aldrich in this position but because they ninja did not see a way out of this without the cultist leaving with their precious Eyes of Bahamut. In addition, if they were willing to kill someone over these eyes then Keimusho's suspicions about them were not unwarranted. And just when Keimusho thought that it could not get any worse, the spell that held down the other two cultists dissipated, leaving them free once more. All of these circumstances lead to one conclusion by the ninja. Keimusho turned to Balthier and the look in his eyes screamed, "Give them the eyes." The ninja doubted that he would so he could only hope that Balthier had a trick of his own up his sleeve.

"Yes that is exactly correct. Does that mean that you are same?", Keimusho asked. "I come from a country called Doma. As far as I am aware, the world that I am from is not mentioned by a name." The ninja stayed silent afterwards. Despite not being in Zephon long, Keimusho missed his homeland. The worst part of it all was that the country gained its freedom once more. It hurt that he was no longer there to partake in the fruits of all the labor it took to reach that point. The ninja noticed the increasing pace that his new acquaintance. This could only mean that the cultists were still looking for him. Though it was to be expected. If anything the smoke bomb that Keimusho tossed was probably a minor setback for the zealot, but the chances that they knew where they were now were slim. However, since they were treading this closely it would only be a matter of time the until they were found once again if they did not proceed with caution.
This did not stop the conversation between the pair from continuing, however. If anything it shifted the topic of the colloquy and confirmed that the cultists were nearby. Though Keimusho was rather perplexed by the Viera comment. Not only because his race was quite different from the pointy-eared humanoids, but also because the race seemed to exist in Balthier's world as well. The though was also amusing though, enough to make him chuckle. "A Viera? That's a first. I've been mistaken for a dragon before but never a Viera.", he responds. The ninja then shifted his gaze. "But I assume that your adversaries are still giving us chase... Not that I am able to hear it well though. My hearing is slightly compromised for the time being.", he says whist pointing to his partially severed but ever-slowly regenerating horn.
The sounds of footsteps edged closer to the pair. It was now close enough for the Au Ra to discern how close they were with his current handicap. "They're over here!", a voice yelled out. "Speaking of adversaries... Looks like we have company." The ninja turned to see two of the cultists from earlier. There was no time for words as both mages would cast the Fira spell. The ninja twisted his body towards the flames whilst activating the Shade Shift ability. The shadows created by the ability shielded the ninja from coming to harm from the spell. The ninja proceeded to weave the handsigns Jin, Ten, and Chi. "I suggest that we keep running. I have another trick up my sleeve.", he whispered to Balthier. The ninja proceeded to do just that, giving the cultists no choice but to give chase. The escapade led all the individuals towards an alley with a dead end. Once Balthier ran past him Keimusho momentarily ceased his running and proceeded to strike the ground with his palm creating a patch of corrupted earth on the ground. The ninja proceeded to run towards the end of the alley.
When the cultists managed to catch up once more, the pair unknowing would step on the corrupted earth. The technique caused their bodies to feel heavy and would collapse on the ground as a result. "We only have a small moment to act. What do you think that we should do the two whilst they are in this compromising situation?", the ninja asked Balthier.

"Blasphemy? That would explain why you would refer to those individuals as zealots." ,the ninja said. And it was perhaps the only reason why Keimusho assisted the thief in the first place. Keimusho has little objection to larceny depending on the context of course. It's only understandable since being a ninja will require the occasional larceny on his end. While he did not ever have the need to pilfer anything since his time in Serentestra, that did not mean that he didn't understand that there could be a situation where thievery was a necessity in this world.
As the exchange of words continued Keimusho nodded as his brand new acquaintance suggested that the conversation be taken elsewhere. It was only natural considering he was (and likely still is) in the midst of being chased. Shifting towards a more secluded area would also be beneficial for Keimusho, at least in the sense that it would satisfy his curiosity. It wouldn't be ideal if the cultists managed to find them once again whilst in the middle of a conversation. "Agreed", the Au Ra said in response. The ninja proceeded to follow the gun-wielder as he walked off. The swindler would then turned to the ninja to inquiry of his name. "Mu.", he responded to the larcenist in yet another one-word reply. Keimusho once again made use of the alias he has committed to make use of since his arrival in Serentestra. The alias was more of a coping mechanism than anything and Keimusho knew it, but he still would prefer to only give his true name to those he trusted. A thief that he met by chance wasn't exactly the most trustworthy of individuals, that is at least when meeting with them for the first time. Following a small pause, the ninja continued the conversation with the pickpocket. "You happen to have a name yourself?", he asked the individual.

The sudden smoke surrounding the area would as expected cause a panic indicated by the screams of the residents. However, at least it seemed that the individual managed to escape thanks to the ninja's smoke bomb. The ninja would also find that the stranger's robed-pursuers continued their chase rather than find the individual who threw the smoke bomb. It would make sense that they all had their attention focused on their quarry rather than an individual that happened to be walking in the area. The ninja considered simply leaving the situation as it was, but the ninja was curious on the specifics of the situation. For all Keimusho knew he could of made the wrong decision, but there was only one way to find out and that was to ask the individual in question.
Keimusho would make his decent from the roof and looks around for a trace of where the individual has gone. The closest open window to where the scene occurred indicated that he went through this house and was most likely somewhere near the other side of the building if he wasn't still inside. After reaching the conclusion he turns his attention towards Aldrich. "Stay here.", the ninja tells the old man. Keimusho proceeded to make use of the Hide technique, making him practically invisible to most individuals. He crawled through the windows and crept through the house. The ninja only took a small moment to look around the house just to ensure that the man that he sought was no longer there. The only thing of note was a woman in the kitchen who appeared to have seen a ghost. (Who knows how she would react at the sight of an actual specter?) On the opposite end of the house was as expected another open window. The ninja would exit just as he entered, through the window. Once he exited the building he spotted the brown-haired man he was looking for. He walked over in his direction and dispelled the Hide ability, appearing once more. "Tis seems to be quite the predicament. Would you mind elaborating why these men are chasing you?", the ninja abruptly asked the thief.
