"Mystery"
"Something's not quite right, I sense foul play..."
Revelations were occurring, in the form of madness. Wasn't it always that way, even Lumina's own nuggets of truth could be parsed as inane. Though she obviously wasn't in the mood for games, not amidst conspiracy. Yet while Vincent didn't understand the ramblings, Lumina did. Her eyes widened for a moment, then her expression became darker. Worse, their companions had become missing and Lumina's carefree demeanour didn't register it till now. She thought the professional gent would follow in his own time, as men like him tended to. Yet the somewhat damsel was nowhere to be seen either.
Thus, it was the cautious brood and the benevolent light, here to crack this mystery wide open. "Oh, you know we're messing with those statues~" Lumina proclaimed, hands upon her hips. In particular, she noticed the Tiger statue. As it turns out, she'd claimed a valuable prize, a Tiger's eye. She didn't waste time hopping to it, moving about like a wild animal or well, more so just warping. "Ayup~" she called out as she placed the remaining eye quickly into the socket, before falling back down, only to vanish into darkness and light, reappearing by Vincent's side.
"I can explain the gist of this, quickly. Ever heard the term Off-Worlders? It describes people like us, from another world. To think we'd be used in some twisted experiment. I honestly thought the citizens of Zephon were too afraid of us for that." Lumina stated before looking to the open door left by Stein.
"Anyway, now that this place is likely burning, we owe it to the normal citizens of Provo, to capture that Mad woman, alive. There's a raging storm out there, so I think we'll be okay. There's also other search parties but I'm guessing they're going to bail out. If we want any closure, any meaning to this madness, we need to be tenacious. You in? If so, let's run!" that felt suitable for a pep talk, given the benign circumstances.
Lumina would wait to see the effect of the statue, then if it wasn't a secret entrance, well... how far could a bookish woman run? Not as fast as light, that's for sure.

"Mystery"
"Something's not quite right, I sense foul play..."
To think that sticking around here revealed some truths. Try as she might to stifle her reaction, hearing of a Crystal and Monsters immediately struck a chord. She recollected a strange substance about her person, only for her big sea blue eyes to widen in disbelief. "Then...did that Crystal...malfunction? A botched summoning? Then why would he gather all of... Wait." there was only one group of people who someone wealthy like de Lune, would be interested in. Offworlders. Though Lumina hadn't run into many thus far, due to prioritizing making a living, in order to protect Serah (at least, she thought she was protecting Serah back then). Now her eyes narrowed, a strange expression on her but true enough, she disappeared in a flash of light.
When she reappeared, she was standing, looking down upon the man who melded into the couch and room respectively. "Thanks for the tip." she stated, before taking her leave of that man to try and find this Doctor. It'd take her some time, mostly because she was trying to trace Vincent's steps. Something about sticking together before cornering the culprit? Mostly, just sticking together because who knew who or what the culprit was!!! Coincidentally, if one could call any of this mystery that. Lumina would come upon Vincent and the Doctor, Vincent had just spoken, so she missed any remarks given by him prior. What Lumina knew, was things felt a bit tense...
"Does he know or is she simply being suspicious, in turn setting him off?" speculation was all Lumina had for the moment. There was no way she'd give away what she just heard, not yet. Instead, she'd manifest those precious clues that she woke up with on her person. Then she'd try and recollect the layout of the manor. Where could the glass fragments come from? What of that Crystal and monsters? So much to ponder on... "Has she said anything useful?" once more, Lumina's tone was not the casual, lackadaisical one she held prior. Not after the bombshell she just heard. Instead, she prepared herself for the likely event of needing to restrain this Doctor.

"Radiance"
"What's it like to be up there, high above it all, without a care in the world~?"
At first, Lumina's clever ploy seemed like it worked. Food, how easy it was to try and distract Zell and Serah with such a ploy. It was a rather 'Motherly' trick to leverage but she was a bit desperate. Alas, it seemed like both of them saw through her deception. First, it was Zell, who made her turn red by nudging her further.
Admittedly, Lumina was quite familiar with Torrensten, what with going back and forth by means of Radiance. Thus, she looked to the side, with a face that showed she had some ideas in mind. Yet she didn't want to be thinking such thoughts right now. It was overwhelming and worse, it was new! Uncharted territory made her anxious, made her worry! Firstly, what was she even going to wear!? Nothing she had would do, which meant she needed to go shopping for something. Although, there was a peculiar look of contemplation on her face now. It was brief but it felt... familiar to her. Nostalgic, more so and that disrupted her feelings of embarrassment and denial. In fact, it made her lean back and contemplate more thoughtfully for a moment.
"I just had this feeling, I guess it was a memory..." she began, turning to Serah for a moment. There was some curiosity in her eyes but she decided not to pry. Largely, she'd put off thinking about her other self or tried to. Yet now, she couldn't help but think of Claire. "I guess we'll go shopping then. Followed by a tour of the University of Magi, I've always wanted to go." she admitted softly, with a faint smile.
"We're not going to just kiss suddenly though. I-I'm not even remotely ready for that!" she grumbled before shaking her head. In a flash, there was light and darkness sparkling before Lumina appeared near the door to her Cabin. She opened it and gestured Zell and Serah follow. "I think we'll need more than a snack before we arrive. It's not like either of us are dressed for a proper first date. Since you're so eager, I'm sure you're willing to dress for the occasion~?" she began, happily marching through the hallway. "The Shopping district in Torrensten is really nice, we can get some good clothes before we go on the tour." a simple enough explanation but then, she'd add something cryptic.
"I think I'll get some stuff for the other me, too. It'd be a waste otherwise..."

"Liberation of Fate"
"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
Truthfully, Lumina yearned for and thrived in this type of chaos. An absence of Lightning, forcing the Saviour back to her roots... No, their collective roots, wasn't a disaster. It wasn't something to be solved, selfish as it was for Lumina to consider. Quite frankly? THIS WAS PERFECT! Were Serah not here, freaking out as it were; Lumina might actually say a brief prayer to the Gods! Working with Lightning, in all her obliviousness, was like pulling teeth!
...Working with Claire then? Mmm, this was like setting sisterhood to easy mode! She'd have to hide her excitement and relief. It's not as if she didn't have some concerns. That was why she provided the keys for one. It also meant there would be no Lightning to get in between her... What ever her friendship with Zell was. As she contemplated this, hearing Serah's concern made her naturally sympathetic. This then turned into a frightening revelation for Lumina. That... overprotective nature, it was deja vu on the worse scale. Claire had been granted a divine intervention, a re-do that life never gave. Yet, Serah was still raised by Lightning and in turn... her other half, her origin... was in great danger!!! Lumina was worried now, though it wasn't for the same reasons as Serah.
Being pulled into a hug, she returned it, giving her a tight but reassuring embrace. Still, she wanted to resist laughing at some of this, only... Serah brought up the obvious elephant in the room. So succintly too, that it dealt 9999 damage to Lumina's psyche. She stiffened, then froze up, then immediately became frantic!
"S-snow!? No, never." Lumina began, shaking in disbelief. "Snow is no adorable puppy, completely helpless without his o-owner. He's a lumbering, big, irresponsible oaf. With not a care in the world for the future, who has no idea what he's doing!" Lumina declared, quite defensively for one. Yet ironically, it was also oh, so, Lightning. It was like the older Farron never left and in absentia, the big; little sis, eased into her shoes.
"Besides, I'm not going out on a date or anything. Z-zell is just my bodyguard. Who knows what would happen if I let him out of my sight for awhile. It's not like you'd be abandoning me to go and help Claire for a bit. I'm safe and the breadwinner right now." she stated, feeling quite confident in how things were. "Well, I guess it's more like... you have two troublemakers on your hands." she'd confess in a mumble. "Ah~ but I'm the good one since I'm not unhinged. Mmm, you really should get to her soon. Do you really think Mog is enough for Claire? Let me tell you, the relationship between those two, even if Claire doesn't have her memories... She'll make Mog her complicit ally~ Then, well... as opposed to worrying about Claire finding a Snow. Don't you think it's much more likely, that she'll latch onto the mysterious, cool type that can do everything? Impressionable teens like Claire want stability and reassurance. Someone strong as well as reliable and there's nothing stopping her form pursuing them and being her real self now." of course she'd stoke the fire a bit, this was too much fun to see.

"Mystery"
"Something's not quite right, I sense foul play..."
Fortune really does favour the bold, that or Lumina was a madwoman. Centuries of wisdom led to machinations that helped her solve the mystery of the room. Procuring a yellow gemstone, with a cat's eye slit. Lumina tilted it, toyed with it and took a moment to marvel. Mostly, it was in vain, besides noting its slightly magical property. Given her two comrades had left the room, only Lumina would enjoy this discovery. Leaving her with a mischievous grin indeed! Pocketing the gemstone for now, within a hidden pocket of her duster.
Now that she was within the yellow lounge, she'd study over the mercenary in question. Lumina was fortunate to catch a bit of what he said to Rufus. Though it was very much the last piece, leaving her perplexed. "You look...rather comfortable, Mister~" Lumina spoke up, hands placed upon her hips. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were paid to fail. Otherwise, is the potential reputation hit you're going to take, really of no concern to you?" she inquired, leaning forward a bit.
"See, I do business in Provo myself. I manage trade of different goods with my own airship too~ So, I'm always approached by mercenary guilds." leaning back now, she'd spin for a bit, before hopping onto the couch. "Jeepers, this room...it's sure something. On one hand, it's warm, lively, attention grabbing. On the other? It instills caution..." that was cryptic, reserved for Rufus who was quieter than usual. Maybe the mercenary had said something prior that got him contemplative?
She noted Vincent's brief presence, only for him to go off and do his thing anew. Some people worked best alone, not unlike Lightning...

"Liberation of Fate"
"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
In truth, Lumina did feel off but she couldn't explain what was off. So, she gave a faint smile and shook her head. "If anything is wrong, I can't tell." she'd admit before placing her hands on her hips. Lumina knew precisely what Serah wanted to ask after agreeing to the tour. It was why she hinted that there was still time, though her reluctance to help more than necessary was emerging.
A faint frown as her eyes diverted for a moment. "Lightning, isn't my favourite person, no." she admitted "So, it's a good thing we're dealing with Claire, yes~?" she admitted, then stood up straight. "I don't mind taking her with us but..." she wagged her right index finger for a moment. A twinkle of mischief or foresight was evident in her sea blue irises. Mog, was definitely not enough per say but it wasn't because Light was strong. Certainly not in her Claire state.
"Likely, she won't want to come with us. She'll want to anchor herself somewhere to keep safe for awhile. Then approach this all at her own pace. Worse, if you don't find her soon, she knows you're an adult now which will bother her. On the other hand, it means she'll loosen her guard. In turn, if she were to meet some dashing guy that was quite strong..." Lumina shrugged, sure she was leaving out the reliable part. In essence, a man the opposite of their Father.
Sensing potential trouble for Serah, she sighed before rummaging about her duster. When she withdrew a key from a hidden pocket, well a key ring more specifically. Lumina tossed it to Serah, "She could at least stay at my place, I don't mind if she uses my room. We're one and the same, right now at least." there was an amused smirk on her lips for a moment. Contemplating how Serah would handle Lightning latching onto someone, just as Serah had with Snow. It was so audacious, that she spun about on her heel, so that her back was facing Serah. Her hands moved to her lips, trying to prevent laughter escaping her lips.
"Well, it'd be a little taste of her own medicine... Not that I'd wish that on her but irony is fun!" she mused.

"Liberation of Fate"
"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
"Smaller?" there was a brief moment of pause, then she looked to her hands. "Wowsers..." there was a brief bit of amusement, as if nothing had gone wrong. "I...don't remember much, admittedly. It does feel a bit like deja vu. Hmm, I wonder what Zell's been up to..." she admitted, a bit too casually given their previous discussions. Though it did reveal her amnesia hadn't reset Lumina completely.
Slowly, she was able to get back to her feet. "Phew, that was something... Well, let's finish up work. Torrensten awaits, I'm actually a bit excited about it now. I'll make sure to get you a proper tour of the ship." Lumina was slowly resuming her usual, quickly wanting to get back to business. Ensuring plans were in motion, was the Lumina way admittedly. Though it was unclear what changes would linger permanently. Serah could rest assured that she was well.
Upon looking about, she noticed a familiar clipboard and reached to pick it up. Carefully, she looked over the inventory and nodded her head slowly. "You know, there is a bit of time before we depart. So, if there's anything you'd like to do while we're still here in Provo..." she stated, somewhat cryptically at that. "...Once we leave for Torrensten, it'll be awhile before we come back. So, it's best to make sure that you're ready for a new adventure." Lumina stated, with much enthusiasm.

"Liberation of Fate"
"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
Everything was going wrong and Lumina felt as if she was under fire! Maybe underwater was more apt, yet regardless of which element was doing her in, social and business lives had crashed simultaneously. How did this happen? Well, Torensten had been hit by tornados, grounding her airship. Being grounded, meant no supply going in or coming out. In turn, her balance sheet was WORSE off than she anticipated before arrival. In Provo, it looked quite good, with profits as far as her eyes could see. In her hangar in Torensten? Unshipped supplies, cancelled orders, the freshness of some ingredients in doubt or spoiled... It was good she got into Torensten bringing supplies from Provo. Otherwise, she'd be out in a tavern, sobbing by her lonesome, when no one was looking, of course.
That was just business, social wise was another disaster of sorts. That happened on the way into Torensten. Feelings were a complicated thing, for people with full hearts. With just a portion of heart, happy chaos was meant to reside and thrive. Something was happening with her, that much she was convinced of now. It all started before departing Provo she was starting to reckon. As she was pacing back and forth outside a tavern, she recollected best as she could, what went wrong. Lumina was preparing for this shipment, Serah offered to help her. They discussed a variety of topics. Namely, handling her independence and the newfound feelings she'd come into. Then there was that gap, a loss of memory and worry for Lightning.
Admittedly, she was trying to suppress that worry, to no avail. "What went wrong...?" she muttered aloud. "How does one get younger after being in Zephon for awhile...?" Lightning's problems, were swiftly becoming Lumina's problems. Memory loss, impairment of certain abilities. One such ability, was shifting her appearance to be older when the need arose. Since it was difficult for many business partners to take a young girl seriously. No matter how much coin she had. The stress was enough to entice her to get up to some mischief instead. So, she stopped in her tracks, turned to the tavern and by fate, there was someone leaning against the wall.

"Liberation of Fate"
"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
Serah wasn't going to let her get away with business as usual. Not after witnessing what happened to her. She was certain that she reverted. Outside her control at that but that wasn't the only cause for concern. It felt like time was being lost, a bit, rewound perhaps. Then synchronized, in order to make sense of whatever happened. Thus, her eyes widened in realization.
"I have a bad feeling...sis." she began, largely speaking from intuition. "I think... you should reach out to Mog, soon. To check on Lightning..." she stated, cryptically but not intentionally. Instead she shook her head, trying to get some kind of focus. To no avail, as she inadvertently fell to her knees, feeling a bit...nauseous as well as unbalanced. "I-I'm okay..." not really but this was nothing. She'd faced worse? Why didn't that feel entirely true anymore... That was when she clutched her chest instead.
Her form shaking violently, as well as suddenly. She cried out but not in pain, just fright; as she couldn't explain the forces acting upon her body. Except that they weren't normal! Maybe the gods were up to something? If so, which gods? Certainly not the ones of Zephon... Nearly collapsing, Lumina passed out for a moment. When she awoke, she felt much better, normal whatever that entailed. Though she did have a bit of amnesia, minor. "What just happened, exactly?" she stated before looking about. "I thought we were discussing work for today...?"

"Mystery"
"Something's not quite right, I sense foul play..."
She'd let Vincent investigate it first and once he was done, Lumina would play~ Examining the string and attempting to match it to the relative key (even if it meant moving the dearly departed a bit). From there, she'd attempt to match the other strings with devices on them. "If one string summoned Jules..." she thought with a coy smirk. Naturally, she'd press the other two and see what happens when all three were held down!
Oh sure, there was the feeling of dark magic in the room. That didn't phase her, after all, Tonberry was here! He'd be perched atop Lumina's head now, his lantern helping to shed a little light. If one wanted a sharp object to possibly cut the strings, then look no further! Lumina would only instruct Tonberry to do that if it proved necessary. Right now, they'd approach this scientifically (childishly). If things didn't lead to something exciting, cutting strings to take the devices out included. Lumina would finally move to a different room. There was the chance after all, that what they sought was in another room.
In which case, Lumina would go to where Rufus was, so as to not split up the party too much. Though she'd do nothing to announce her presence, just playfully wave.
