Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Click the image for a super easy new skin guide for a visual tour!
Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.

The Dragonglaive
Celes?
Caius had heard the name. Between the name and the sobbing child, Caius had more than enough reason to get inside. Looking around, he considered how in the world he was going to get into that room. And who was clacking those keys on the computer? Also, what was that burning smell upstairs?
"Young one, can you hear me?" Caius called from the other side. "You mentioned a Celes. Is she with you?"
That would explain a lot, wouldn't it? Celes may be the one typing, though... Would she even know how to use a computer? She wasn't exactly from a world that had them, if he recalled correctly. But it wasn't out of her character to make the attempt anyway. Actually it sounded like exactly what Celes would do.
"I am a friend. I have a feeling the house is coming down. We had best get you out of here" he brought up. The best he could do was send the kid packing back out the entrance while he used what time he could to find Faris and Celes. The door in front of him didn't seem like it would budge, and he doubted he would know the code on the numerical pad. Which meant he was going to have to find another way. Though he did notice that the wood next to the door seemed quite fragile... Broken in places. Probably able to be forced open fairly easily. Caius peered closely and was able to see an opening on the other side, leading into the room.
Deciding not to force his way through though, not wanting to risk bringing down what would already be a crumbling house at the point, he decided to try another way. Placing a hand on the wood, he closed his eyes as he focused his energy. With enough of an opening in the thin wood, he was able to Phase right through.

[attr="class","skullbody"]A loud sound erupted from a higher floor and the smell of smoke gradually began to enter the ground floor. The manor was on fire. This was not good. The man in red quickly realized this too and did not hesitate to take his leave. He would suggest that everyone else do the same and Mu was inclined to agree. However, there was the issue of leaving Caius behind. He knew the mercenary was capable enough so the ninja bends down near the door of the wine cellar and yells out to him. "Caius, we seem to have a fire spreading! You'd best make it quick!" He then turns to Primrose. "With me." he says. He makes his way to the kitchen to see that Genesis had removed on of the window screens. [break][break] The ninja points towards the window. "Through there." he says to Primrose. The shinobi didn't look to see if she decided to take her leave through the window or not. Instead, he decides to head towards the ballroom as there was a voice coming from that direction when the commotion started. He would try to save this individual and then take his leave if it was necessary.
Thunder crashes above Genesis as he takes to the wet, howling skies. He is drenched within seconds, the leather sticking uncomfortably to his skin. Nothing else is foolish enough to take flight on this cursed night. By the time that he reaches civilization, his feathers are crooked, his hair is tangled with debris, and his coat will need serious repair from the water damage. Still, it wasn’t the worst way his night could have ended. Within the hour, the house he left has shuddered with one final gasp of life before it collapses entirely.
The clock is ticking.
Primrose nods at Keimusho, still trembling. ”What about...you?” she asks, but the ninja has already turned to leave and she swallows hard, deciding to follow orders rather than ask any more questions. She gingerly climbs out the window, stumbling into the mud. From outside, she can see the full extent of the damage, and she gasps, both hands at her mouth. The roof of the manor is entirely ablaze. Heedless of the rain, it rages on. ”Please,” she whispers. ”Let them all find their way out safely!”
As Keimusho reaches the ballroom, there is a strange, wolfish howl from behind him. He is found by a wild young boy who comes charging towards him on all fours. He’s only half-dressed, and his bare feet are bleeding from stepping on broken glass. Still, he seems insistent on finding someone named “Emma.” They need to evacuate and “rondy-voo.” The boy doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about, but he’s very insistent on finding the woman in a black suit who had only recently been following along.
Together, Keimusho and Gau manage to find the remaining stragglers in the manor and escape. Though the front door was locked, the combined efforts of Keimusho’s ninja skills and Gau’s feral strength break the hinges, and they all spill out into the rain, coughing and sputtering as thick smoke billows out onto the lawn behind them.
Everyone has been saved. Or almost everyone at least…
Caius phases through the basement door and finds himself in almost complete darkness. It’s disorienting at first -- the hum of strange machinery, the bubbling of strange fluids, and the dim, green-blue light from the glass tubes lining the walls. There are desks here -- messy and clearly already ransacked. There was also a woman, holding a thick metal pipe like a baseball bat. She readies it and swings, smashing it into one of the glass cylinders. The glass cracks. A strange, efflorescent liquid leaks out of the weakest points, but the glass is too strong to shatter in one blow. Inside of it is the ghostly figure of another woman -- Celes.
She’s unconscious and floats there, lifelessly suspended. The other woman -- Cissnei -- readies the pipe for another blow and smashes it against the glass again. More of the fluid bursts from the cracks, but the glass container still doesn’t give way.
Around them, there are other glass containers. Most of them are empty, but several are not. In the others, Caius is able to identify the unconscious form of Captain Faris as well as a girl in an orange jumpsuit and a rich looking blonde man whose container is currently draining.
Caius has found the heart of the manor as well as its captured prey. There isn’t much time left if he hopes to escape it with innocent lives in tow.
