Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Click the image for a super easy new skin guide for a visual tour!
Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.

Questions about the man's identity fell on deaf ears as the wooden bang overwhelms anything else. Caius was about to follow behind him, when the creepy man would suddenly speak up, saying he should get out of their way. Then he vanished. Gone. Poof. And with the body and the crystal in tow. Caius uttered a low curse, kicking himself for not investigating those around him first before starting to make his way through the house. That left just him and the girl, along with the butler. But it begged the question... Disappearing with the crystal, and the body for some reason... Did that implicate the man?
He wasn't sure. On the surface, it certainly would. But... If he had somehow gotten past Celes and Faris and made his way back here, why hadn't he nabbed the crystal before? Why waste all this time and make himself suspicious, when he could have taken the crystal and made his escape when the opportunity had presented itself?
Another question was, why take the body? None of this made any sense. But unfortunately, with him gone, there were no answers to be had. All Caius could do was follow the banging noises for the time being. Shuffling could be heard. The sound of crunching glass. Then a man, suspicious looking but not seeming to be doing anything. Another guest displaced in this whole thing. And then... He was gone. Disappeared, just like the other.
This whole thing had gone to hell in a handbasket, and quick. Caius let out a sigh as he looked to the young lady.
"Where do you think we should investigate? This place is massive."
After a few moments though, he sniffed the air, quirking his brow.

E
mma looked around as the man landed from above. She recognized him easily. Genesis. So he was here too. That wasn't a fact that availed itself of much comfort. He seemed distracted by things going on above, however. Then Emo haircut pulled a vanishing act. Emma pulled her gun out, but he did not appear again. In fact, the body also vanished. Emma sighed. Apparently no one around here respected proper investigation protocols. Between the body snatching edge-lord and the psychotic SOLDIER, Emma was just about done with all of this. Why was she even helping again? She didn't recall an offer of payment... Just suspicious butlers remarking on the importance of the mans work and what not. Likely wanted it for themselves. As for the body-snatcher, she doubted he had anything to do with the actual murder. With how easily he had snatched the crystal and body he could have simply done that from the start. No reason to hand around in the first place. Perhaps the crystal actually was safer where it was, though Emma wasn't sure how trust worthy that man was in regards to his own agenda. With everyone leaving the ballroom and the only points of interest that stood out now elsewhere, there was no reason to stay. And now she was apparently partnered with the knight.
"Personally, I just want to find my partner and get out of here. Call local law enforcement to handle this mess." Emma replied. Cissnei had headed off to the entrance hall, hadn't she? She started heading for the door when the knight remarked about something burning. She looked upward and saw the smoke from upstairs. Then she sighed and shook her head.
"This is what happens when you let SOLDIER loose on things. No finesse whatsoever..." she said.
In moments, the crystal and body are gone. As both the evidence and culprit disappear, the butler is left gaping. ”That...That ruffian!” he gasps, touching at his mouth. ”Master de Lune! The crystal! They’re-!” He turns on the remaining two. ”You have to recover them! You must! He is clearly the killer!”
With that, he sinks to the floor, a hand over his mouth. He is utterly broken and will not be available for further questioning.
There are voices above and then the distinct crackle of a fire. There’s no doubt about it. Something on the upper balcony is burning. The door closes with a heavy slam. The arsonist has clearly left the flames to their own devices.
In the distance, you hear the dissonant smash of piano keys and a sharp, girlish yelp. Clearly, everything is going as planned.
The ballroom is at a central location to the entire manor. From here, anything is possible. The fire, the scream, the mysterious man, there’s no end to the trouble to chase. Then of course there’s the investigation. Somewhere in this manor’s halls lies a murderer, a mystery, and two missing people whose lives hang in the balance.
Adjacent Locations
The Parlor Room: You know that a team was already sent in this direction, and they might still be inside. Did the scream come from this direction? While you certainly could enter this room, there will be too much to take in at once. Talk to Fin.
Kitchen: The kitchen still smells of the ghost of a meal. Dirty plates pile in the sink. Used glasses show the residue of wine. The room is hot with the heat of the ovens. A door near the back leads to the pantry.
East and West Courtyards: The storm rages within these courtyards. It is a muddy mess heavy with rainwater. In the center of each, a fountain overflows with the swell. Atop the eastern fountain sits a stone dragon. Atop the western, there is a coiled serpent. In the back of the eastern courtyard, a hulking figure is barely visible.
Entrance Hall: This grand room is a marvel of marble floors and ornate greco-roman statues. Four chandeliers hang from the ceiling, flickering with their dim and insubstantial light. The room’s centerpiece is a massive statue of a griffon set atop a great stone pedestal. It faces the heavy oaken doors leading to the lawn. They are currently locked.
Second Floor Landing: You know that another team was already sent in this direction. You know only too well. While you can’t smell the flames from here, its acrid scent hasn’t left you from the first floor ballroom. The floors echo here, reaching up to a high ceiling lit by crystal chandeliers. An extra staircase leads to what you can presume to be the upper balcony of the ballroom. Wood splinters litter the floor around a door which was clearly destroyed and then set back into place. Three people are in this space including the man in red you saw descend on his single wing.

"He's not the killer"
Caius had let out a long sigh when Butley demanded they go after the creep, thinking him the killer. "Think about it. If he could do that at anytime, why wait until now? We were all long out of it, with no memory of what's been happening. If he killed the old man for the crystal, then he'd have had it and been out of here long before any of us were any the wiser. He likely only literally just decided to take the crystal now, for one reason or another. Wouldn't stake my life on it, but that one act isn't enough to implicate him."
Unfortunately, their new friend was despondent. Which meant that it was up to him and the suspiciously dressed woman to find out what they could.
"I understand where you're coming from. As much as I'd like to be out of here, my partner is here as well. She can handle herself, but I would rather find her as soon as possible" he answered the other blonde when she spoke up. And the pirate too, he supposed. For Yuna's sake, he told himself. Was he telling himself the truth? Who knows? "Might as well see if we can make at least a few strides towards solving this mystery along the way. Better than being suspected of murder and dealing with that headache later if we walk out. If I can come to that conclusion about him, then law enforcement surely will as well."
He sniffed the air. "Okay, something's on fire" he brought up, quirking a brow. That was bad. Very bad. Caius got moving, finding himself in the entrance hall again. If the young lady went with or not, that was her call. But if the fire spread through the manor, things would get a lot harder. He'd need to prepare to put it out with Blizzard any chance he got, if he could. There didn't appear to be much in the entrance hall though, besides a bunch of chandeliers and a very large statue. Caius squinted as he stared at it a moment. It was a little too lifelike for his paranoia, if he was being honest with, well, himself.
