Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.

When he first pulled her in close, Zell could feel her body tense up against his. But after only a moment, he could feel her relax in his arms. As Lumina responded to his thanks, Zell hoped to have a short moment of silence. It'd been so long since he'd had any sort of affection that he just wanted to enjoy this juncture. A moment to enjoy their embrace and--
"I called it! I knew you two could do it! Ahhh!"
The instant Zell heard Serah's voice, his eyes shot wide open. His head turned in unison with Lumina's as they both looked to Serah, who was at the doorway to the cabin. The eyes of the SeeD darted between both of the female as he tried not to panic. It failed.
"Wait," he half gasped and half yelled, "It's not--I mean, we didn't-- She's not-- I'm not--"
Zell's arms began to flail wildly as he tried to break loose from Lumina, but she was clung to him too tightly and no matter how hard he tried, Zell just couldn't detatch himself from her grasp. He nearly fell over in the process of panicking.
When he realized that Lumina refused to let him go, Zell let out a sigh of defeat and slumped forward into her shoulder like a sack of rocks.

Ooooh Claire didn't back away, she seemed to hold Zell even tighter. They were so adorable together, she loved it! It seemed to that Claire knew she wasnt going to be able to hide it from her this time around, in fact she seemed to only get closer to Zell as a result. Serah coudnt help but delight in the fact. She was proud of her older sister..she really was. So she decided to let up on her teasing. Well... mostly anyway
"Oh I just came in at the time you declared your love sis~ So I just got to see this most intimate loving part! eeeeh!"
The younger farron's excitement was clear. Truth be told she had always imagined being able to do something like this with Claire. But as they got older that chance never came. More so when Claire became 'Lightining' The chance to do so seemed to jsut fade away with time, not even getting it on her end at first. But now? Now that dream was a reality! Now her sister had her own love, from what she could tell it seemed it was returned as well. It was such a beautiful moment... Zell was so cute as he panicked for a moment before relenting.
"Don't worry I wont tease you two .. to much"
She had a wide grin as she said that, hands crossed behind her back as she paced back and forth in thought.
"Word of advice though? Bedroom is the FIRST place family looks. Me and Snow neevrrrrrr had intimate moments in my room, Light would have found us in an INSTANT! Try hiding amongst a fireworks show or something, then you can have your moment and... have a wonderful time"
The memory of her own time with Snow, of the promise they made swam like a wave of joy through her mind. She wanted the same for Zell and Claire. She wanted them to be able to make beutiful memories together like they did... hopefully without all the world shattering interruptions. Finally she came to a stop, turned on her heel and leaned her body forward with a warm smile.
"Besides, you don't have to hide it from me rightttttt sis?"

With Serah present and witnessing her confession, Lumina had held onto Zell tighter. That was mostly because she didn't want to handle the embarrassment alone. If she could she'd have happily hid behind Zell! That in itself was a sudden twist from wanting to hide behind Serah earlier. Ultimately, Lumina felt much younger than her age and being caught by Serah, felt like being caught by their Mother. The almost divine timing, the knowing smile of delight, made this moment feel surreal. Zell flailing about the way she expected him to prior, was cute. Allowing for Lumina's nerves to settle slowly as Serah assessed the situation.
"Well..." Lumina spoke up finally, feeling shy but overwhelmingly happy all at once. "It's true that my room would be the first place to look but..." her eyes narrowed playfully. "You were supposed to be with Mikael and Annette. I-I was even teasing Zell earlier that he didn't have to stay with me." Lumina decided to confess since the proverbial cat was out of the bag at this point. "So I decided to show off my cabin to him while working. Things just took a turn... No, that's not quite right. More like..." Lumina paused, looking to Zell who was pressed against her shoulder, his face being obscured by her hair slightly. Affectionately, she leaned her head atop his own before continuing, "...Curiosity got the best of Zell and he had to know the truth~" which, now that Lumina thought about it, perhaps that's really what got him to go on that journey.
Giggling nervously, Lumina slowly loosened her hold on Zell. He was already in an extremely compromising position. If her chair weren't stable this would be disastrous. Although he did look cute somewhat, hiding away from Serah, even if inadvertently. "It would have been fun to keep you guessing admittedly~ Oh well!" that avenue for mischief was out the window but soon, Lumina's eyes lit up with a new idea for mischief.
Looking to Zell once more, she smiled sweetly before asking a damning question. "Well, since Serah has heard me confess. Isn't it only fair that we hear Zell's confession too, Serah~?" Misery did love company after all. If they had been alone, she wouldn't have bothered to ask. After all, she was content with the status quo and admittedly. Lumina was much too afraid to be a girlfriend and go out on dates. What did that even mean anyway?! That she had no clue was enough of a deterrence but... hearing how Zell felt was simple enough.

Between Serah's teasing and Lumina's resistance, Zell managed to stay out of the conversation for as long as he could. That is, until Lumina shined the metaphorical spotlight on her blonde-haired companion.
"C-Confess?" Oh, boy. It wasn't bad enough that Serah had to drop in on them while they embraced one another. Now Lumina had to put him on the spot, too. There was no denying it now, though Zell did try to think of a way to show his support for Lumina without leaving himself too vulnerable.
"Okay, okay," he said, pulling back and shifting his eyes between the sisters. Zell took a gulp before trying to carefully place his words in the correct order. "So, Lumina is so important to me that... I want her to be happy. And... if being together will make her happy, then," He paused and gave a light shrug, "why not give it a shot? Hell, I'm taking her home with me, after all, right?"
Even though he had pulled away before speaking, Zell kept his hands on the sides of her arms. Part of it was to maintain that physical contact that Lumina wanted so badly. The other part was just incase she got squirrely again, he'd be able to peel her off more easily. He'd just have to wait now to see which of the two would happen first.

Serah giggled playfully. They really did remind her of Snow and herself... well maybe with a tad more emberisment mixed in. Their was nothing wrong ws with that though, they WERE a young couple after all~ Claire tried a bit of a comeback, getting a huffy from her younger sister. It wasnt her fault she forgot where the kitchen was! She had intended to just come here and ask Claire, maybe eat lunch with or something. It was Claire that got all hot and heavy with Zell now!
"I was hungry ok! I WAS just going to ask where the kitchen was sis! besides... clearly you ended up wanting Zell to stay hmmm?"
The more they tried to defend themselves, the more cute it became to Serah. The happier it made her to see. Claire deserved someone to make her happy. Whether that be 'Lumina' or 'Lightining' She always believed that. Not because she needed that special someone, no way both sides of Claire could more than hold their own. No she wanted her to have someone for her own happiness. No matter what side of the person called Claire you spoke of the simple fact was that they had done so much for others, so much for their world... so much for her. That was why she deserved to have love, she deserved to have someone who could give her all the happiness she always deserved.
"I'm really happy for you sis... really... oh and you to of course Zell! If nothing else... I'm really happy this whole situation brought you two together!"
If this whole chaotic situation could do one thing right she was glad it made her sister happy. It really made Serah eveb bubbler than usual to see. She playfully rolled her eyes when Claire claimed that it would have been fu to keep her guessing longer. To which the younger simply gave her own rare mischievous grin.
"Oh is that what you were doing sis? Yesterday to hmmm?"
Claire had litterly sought Serah's advice on love, she just was going to escape that! She was going to get payback one hundred fold if Snow ever did show up, of that she was certain but... well until then she doubted Claire would be able to outplay her in the field of love teasing!
Though it woudnt be long until the sisters teamed up in their teasing of the poor poor hero boy. When Claire asked her opinion on hearing Zell's confession that michivious grinned returned, likely in tandem with her sister as she nodded her confirmation.
"Oh DEFENTLY, I'm the witness arent I? I have to see both parties parties their love~"
And that was just what the man did, well he did everything but directly say it, anyway, electing a delighted giggle Serah in the process and she cheered at the situation. They were so close together.. so happy... It was ironic that she, the younger sister kept having the term 'young couple' come to her mind but... it was fitting right? Besides Claire never really got to experience this sort of thing like she had, so she was sure it was the same for her!
"Ahhh... young love!"

Zell was just full of surprises, clearly handling the teasing of the Farron sisters better than expected. Sure, he didn't quite say the words directly. Lumina wasn't so greedy or impatient, as to hold that over him right now. It was clear that he was really grateful for her feelings and wanted to do something for her. On the other hand, Lumina wasn't so sure she could do the dating part!
"Y-yesterday?! S-serah, I... I was trying..." she gave up on that retort soon enough. What could she say, there was a reason she wanted to keep this a secret. Sure, there was no need for that anymore, mostly. However there was still one hitch that held Lumina back!
"I... I've never been on a date before! I... How exactly is it even done...?" As if she hadn't hit her quota, how much more embarrassed could she get today, really?! Now she wanted to run but this time from both of them. Not that it was going to happen, Zell had kept a kind of hold on her. One that would prevent her from clinging and running, a practically genius move! Now wasn't the time for her to be impressed but she was, so with her free hand she mostly covered her face.
How fortunate then, that whilst this odd family dynamic was unfolding; the airship was heading into Torensten's airspace. Maybe Lumina would be able to figure things out better on the ground? No, she wasn't the type to put off her problems. Subverting some of it though...? "Putting my problems aside. Serah, you wanted to know where the kitchen was, right?" Distracting Serah with food was cheap. Then again, it worked on Zell, to which she'd tr5y to use the same trick on him as well.
"Why don't I take you both there? We've got this nice mess hall of sorts. Like a cafeteria~ Zell, are you hungry?"

The sisters bickered a bit, as siblings tend to do. It was nothing dramatic; only Serah continuing her tease regarding the situation she walked in on. Lumina, on the other hand, showed even more embarrassment from being caught. Zell wasn't sure who was flustered more. Him or Lumina?
"Food?" Lumina's question stirred the beast that laid dormant within the SeeD's abdomen. As if being summoned, his stomach growled with a fierce intensity. "I guess it's been a while since my last meal, huh?" Sometimes, Zell felt like a dog with the way he was treated. Food was a weakness that could easily influence him. But it wasn't a weakness that he despised.
"Alright, sure," he said in agreement. "Let's get something to snack on before the airship gets to Torensten." Wanting to get in one last poke before leaving towards the cafeteria, Zell nudged Lumina after releasing her from his grip. "Can't say I'm know the layout of the city too well, but I'm sure some we can find something for the date that Serah wants us to go on."

Usually, Lumina was the one that messed with others, but this time? It was all her! Serah giggled at the reaction she got from her sister. It was fun to see the great Claire all flustered. Though she was right about one thing. It was a thing that did concern her. The woman named Claire Farron, Whether Lumina or Lighting had never been on a date in her life. She had been to absorbed in raising Serah after all, to absorbed in keeping her safe. It was a fact that was just as true for both halves of the complete woman. Meanwhile Serah had been on several dates with Snow, some of those dates were adventurous and some were them just hanging out and watching the fireworks. But what they all had in common was… they just did what made them happy, whatever they enjoyed doing together. That was why, with a gentle smile on her face the only advice she could offer her frantic older sister was:
”Just do what makes you happy, no matter what anyone else thinks. Your together. That is what matters. No matter what you are doing just enjoy it, together… even if its just a simple walk or going out to eat. That’s the secret of dating!”
To those who knew it couldn’t be any clearer that she was thinking of her and Snow when she said that. If it wasn’t obvious enough the hand on her cheek and content sigh, she let out made it crystal clear! She missed her love more than anything. But she knew they would find their way to each other again, they always did. For now, she was content with helping her sister and new friend in their love lives. What kind of sister would she be if she did not?
Of course, her sister’s next move was to move on to her problems. She WAS Claire after all. Serah knew full well that split or not, less strict or more any Claire would put her worries before their own. No matter how Serah tried to make it otherwise. Even so she uh… was still a bit hungry now that she thought about it.
”If you wouldn’t mind? I’ll probably keep stumbling around until I find it or walk out the air chute otherwise’
Sure, she chuckled, but given her track record a result like that probably wasn’t to far from the truth sadly. Given that Zell was going with them though… It meant she could continue with Serah’s patented dating advice! Well… If Lumina needed it anyway. She was the big sister here after all. She could just chime in with advice whenever needed.

Did Lumina just spin it so Serah was there for her date with Zell? …God she was crafty! Unfournatly for Lumina Zell’s jab at the end opened the gate for Serah to start anew, and boy did she.
”We’ll the perfect spot for you both! Somewhere romantic, with a great view and delightful food… ah.. a place for the perfect kiss! It’ll be so romantic!”
Serah then left the leading to Lumina and followed behind. Yes, this would be a wonderful day! A day of fun, a day of joy, A day of romance! ….A day of unlimited teasing!

At first, Lumina's clever ploy seemed like it worked. Food, how easy it was to try and distract Zell and Serah with such a ploy. It was a rather 'Motherly' trick to leverage but she was a bit desperate. Alas, it seemed like both of them saw through her deception. First, it was Zell, who made her turn red by nudging her further.
Admittedly, Lumina was quite familiar with Torrensten, what with going back and forth by means of Radiance. Thus, she looked to the side, with a face that showed she had some ideas in mind. Yet she didn't want to be thinking such thoughts right now. It was overwhelming and worse, it was new! Uncharted territory made her anxious, made her worry! Firstly, what was she even going to wear!? Nothing she had would do, which meant she needed to go shopping for something. Although, there was a peculiar look of contemplation on her face now. It was brief but it felt... familiar to her. Nostalgic, more so and that disrupted her feelings of embarrassment and denial. In fact, it made her lean back and contemplate more thoughtfully for a moment.
"I just had this feeling, I guess it was a memory..." she began, turning to Serah for a moment. There was some curiosity in her eyes but she decided not to pry. Largely, she'd put off thinking about her other self or tried to. Yet now, she couldn't help but think of Claire. "I guess we'll go shopping then. Followed by a tour of the University of Magi, I've always wanted to go." she admitted softly, with a faint smile.
"We're not going to just kiss suddenly though. I-I'm not even remotely ready for that!" she grumbled before shaking her head. In a flash, there was light and darkness sparkling before Lumina appeared near the door to her Cabin. She opened it and gestured Zell and Serah follow. "I think we'll need more than a snack before we arrive. It's not like either of us are dressed for a proper first date. Since you're so eager, I'm sure you're willing to dress for the occasion~?" she began, happily marching through the hallway. "The Shopping district in Torrensten is really nice, we can get some good clothes before we go on the tour." a simple enough explanation but then, she'd add something cryptic.
"I think I'll get some stuff for the other me, too. It'd be a waste otherwise..."
