The state of Sonora is one that causes people to be aware of themselves and their surroundings once night falls. She knows this, she does, but it happened too fast for her to fully understand until things were too late. The boy, no older than twelve, bumping into her made a quick apology and continued his mad dash down the street in the opposite direction she went, and it was only after stopping to purchase some food that she noticed the complete absence of her wallet. It might not have been bursting to the brim with gil, but it was hers all the same!
And that's how, red faced from breathlessness, the greenette found herself checking every nook and cranny she could. Where did the child disappear to? If he had needed help, he could have asked and she gladly would have offered whatever there was to spare for him to have! But to take her meager savings and leave her completely stranded like this didn't bode well at all! The rumbling of her stomach needed something to quiet it!
A sigh falls from her as she falls back against a wall, defeat taking root in the pit of her gut. She's a stranger to this place, unfamiliar to the city of neon lights and roaring engines, and that little thief could hide in a thousand different places, always on the move and aware of her. With her vivid hair and colorful attire, she stood out a bit too much in a crowd, and would be easily recognized by the urchin.
She shakes her head, slapping her palms to her cheeks, and pushes away from the wall to double down on searching for a bit longer. If all else fails, maybe a guard can point her in the right direction, or... or something!
