Keimusho once again used to Hide technique and waited atop a tree until Squall drew the Ochu's attention. Squall grabbed the monster's attention with a Fire spell, which initially made it seem as if the monster was running away, until it starting attacking Squall. Everything was set in motion. Keimusho made it's way to the Ochu's rear, still in the effects of the Hide technique. He drew his kodachi and activated Trick Attack as he turned his back and brought the sword to the back of the monster in a stabbing motion. This monster as a result would be taking more damage for any further attacks. The attack was almost akin to a damage increasing poison, except that it was simply a technique in his arsenal. The ninja tossed a smokebomb in use of the Shukuchi technique to create some space. The technique swiftly brought him atop of the very same tree that he waited for Squall from. He then proceeded to sheath his blade. "Squall it may be in your best interest to take a few steps back. Trust me when I say you don't want to get caught up in this.", said the ninja.
Trusting that Squall created sufficient distance, Keimusho's hands began to weave mudra signs. His hands weaved the signs Chi and Ten, a combination needed for Katon. The ninja took a deep breath and upon exhaling brought fourth a fireball that engulfed the creature in its entirety in flames. The Ochu shrieked in the excruciating pain that Keimusho brought to it. The ninja weaved another sign, Kassatsu followed by Ten and Jin, the combination for Hyosho Ranryu.
The ninja initially though of finishing it of with Goka Mekkyaku, however the flames that ninjutsu technique brought were even more destructive than Katon and could possibly set a portion of the forest ablaze. The technique was better suited for multiple opponents, infact Katon was as well but the Ochu was weak to the fire element so that course of action was logical, but the amped-up version of the technique would possibly a step to far. Instead the ninja used Hyosho Ranryu, the amped-up version of Hyoton. Towards the Ochu came three ice shurikens which cut deep into the plant monster's skin and finished it off. The cuts left the newly deceased monster's blood oozing towards the ground. With the task done Keimusho went over to Squall and said, "Good work. Now let's go back and retrieve our elderly companion, we can't leave him alone for long considering the condition he is in."
As the two made their way back to the old man, he was seemingly swinging his walking stick at nothing. The ninja simply dismissed this as a symptom of his age and amnesia. He didn't think much else of it, but could this possibly be the rumored illusions at play?

Keimusho like Squall was an individual that preferred the luxury of working alone. However, keeping Squall around was perhaps the best call. Monsters were enough to deal with, then there were also talks about potential illusions. It would be rather difficult with all of these things while attending to a feeble old man alone. It was hard enough shielding him for a barrage of black magic, whilst in an area that left them surrounded by bloodthirsty monsters just a few days prior. It didn't take much time for the ninja to accept Squall's offer based on the week that the Au Ra was having. "It seems that traveling together would be the best course of action. We've already had to deal with the Morbol, so only the Kami knows what else we could encounter here. Speaking of which perhaps I should scout to see if there are any other monsters ahead?"
Keimusho proceeded to use his Hide ability so any nearby monsters would not detect the ninja. As he peeked behind some trees he managed to spot yet another seedkin monster, an Ochu. The ninja then went back to Squall and the old man, and with a poof appeared once more. "An Ochu lies ahead. May I ask of you to draw it's attention so that we may dispatch of it quickly and efficiently? You needn't worry about being caught up in its fumes as you did with the Morbol, I shall prevent such from happening if it comes to that." The ninja proceeds to point in the direction of the monster. "I shall attack the monster from the rear so that is why I'll need for you to keep its attention."

Keimusho was relieved to see that Squall had a way to cure himself because the ninja had no such such skills in his arsenal. It seemed that there was not much else to worry about at the moment, barring the old man's amnesia. Being that they were in the middle of the forest and that there was no one else around, Keimusho saw it fit to answer Squall's questions honestly. The young man looked to be fairly trustworthy, but the ninja also didn't want to reveal his whole hand to someone he just met so he kept his answers vague, leaving them open to interpretation. "Yeah, I guess you could say that I was trained. In multiple disciplines in fact. The first being an art in a certain type of swordsmanship and the second... let's just call it an art of stealth for now. But I doubt I need to go into specifics. I see that you wield a gunblade yourself. I trust that you know to use it?"
The ninja took a moment to look for the stick, but to no avail. Instead he simply climbed up a tree, unsheathed his blade and cut a large branch from it. With the blade he would carve the branch in a way that would assist the old man's walking. This temporary stick would not be perfect by any means, but it would suffice for the moment. He handed the stick to the struggling old man who responded with a "Thank ye sonny." Keimusho nodded and then went back over to Squall. "I am Keimusho of the Onishi clan, but I ask of you to refer to me as Mu in the public eye. We are actually headed to Torensten, you see." The Au Ra takes a moment to pause. "But this man here has a case of amnesia. It seems that he can't even remember his own name."
Keimusho still contemplated whether that was actually a blessing in disguise for the elder. Who knows how much pain he would be in if he remembered that his whole village was massacred just a few days prior. Those were not scars that anyone would like the burden to bear, especially at the age that he was at.
"But you needs not concern yourself with that. You said that there were rumors about this forest?"

Keimusho's suspicions on whether Caius was one of the leaders of the Dragonblades proved true. He would have to be someone of relative importance for someone to decide to place a bounty on their head. The fact that Caius didn't want to pressure him to join was rather honorable. In fact, it kinda reminded him of when the Au Ra was given the offer of joining his clan back in his homeworld. Though what was different was that it was more of a necessity for Keimusho to join his clan than Caius' mercenary guild. Also, the mercenary implied that this was just one possible avenue to help people.
The mercenary then went on to accept the ninja's offer to not only assist with the interrogation, but to take the initiative. Interrogation was also one of the many tools in the arsenal of the shinobi, but Keimusho would have to take caution in the methods he uses to prevent causing the villagers any more stress.
"Gladly.", the ninja responded to the mercenary's offer to interrogate. "But before that, since you gave to me your name, perhaps I should give you the same courtesy. My name is- Wait, apologizes that I am rather hesitant to reveal mine name with the number of people around. My work is done within the shadows and I'd prefer to keep that luxury. Though if you needs refer to me with a name at moment you may refer to me as Mu. I shall reveal to you my true name when the potential for lurking eyes has lessened."
It was at around this time that the ninja turned to see that the bandits awoke from the blow that the Au Ra dealt to him. The perfect time to start interrogation the Au Ra figured as he walked into the vicinity of the tied-up bandits. Keimusho figured that threats of violence were unnecessary as these bandits proved to be rather talkative if they themselves weren't in the compromised situation, but now that they were tied up the ninja was sure that it would take much effort to make them talk.
"Ahh, so you are awake I see. Okay then, I guess that it didn't take long for you to realize your compromised situation. We've already established that a bounty started all of this and as contributors to the damages you shall answer a few questions. I'll start you off easy with two. First, whom was it that offered this bounty and second, why in the Hells would burning down an innocent village be your tactic to seeing it fulfilled?"
A cold stare from the ninja met the eyes of one of the bandits that he interrogated. Caius perhaps had one thing right about the ninja. Intimidation was something that Keimusho had down to a science and it was a trait that more often than not, aided in an interrogation.

"W-whoa!", yelled the old man as Squall tossed him atop a tree branch. The branch he was using to walk with fell as a result of this. With the suddenness of a random man tossing the old man that he was travelling with, Keimusho's first reaction would be to attack him which was why he drew his sword as swiftly as he did, but luckily Squall managed to bring to the ninja's attention the incoming threat. It was a Morbol... or Malboro? Is that was they called them in this world? Regardless of what term was used, the method of dispatching them would be the same and that also meant that avoiding Bad Breath was imperative. With the toss of a smoke bomb the ninja used the Shukuchi technique to swiftly move behind the monster. The timing could not have been sooner as the plant monster released its deadly green smog. The fact that the breath managed not to hit Keimusho was ideal, but Squall did not have that same luxury. He was hit point blank with the breath and what was worse was that the monster still had its attention on Squall.
It was probably angry that Squall threaded on its territory, but its a monster so you can't use logic to explain its motives completely. The monster raised its tentacle to strike the gunblade wielder. Being hit point blank with the breath basically put him out of commission for the time being, so it was up to Keimusho to defend him. To prevent the gunblade wielder any further damage, Keimusho would rely on his ninjutsu. The ninja wield a single mudra sign, Ten. "Oh no you don't!", yelled the ninja. With this Keimusho summoned Fuma Shuriken and proceeded to launch the giant weapon towards the creature. A clean cut through the Morbol's tentacle was the result.
The plant monster quickly turned its attention to its new attacker. With this newfound attention Keimusho casted Shade Shift to allow the shadows take incoming hits. The monster attempted to attack Keimusho with one of its remaining tentacles, but the hit brought about no damage to the ninja. The bought Keimusho enough time to cast yet another ninjutsu technique. The ninja weaved the signed Chi, Jin, and finally Ten, a combination which brought about Huton. With this Keimusho would be able to deal with the monster at a faster pace.
Keimusho would bring the onslaught to the Malboro with a series of attacks with his kodachi. Spinning Edge, followed by Gust Slash and then Aeolian Edge. Two more tentacles fell off the creature's body, but those were not the only parts of the creature's body that the ninja aimed for. After the limbs of the creature fell ,the ninja hopped atop the monster's back and would bring to it the final blow with the Ninki ability Bhavacakra. The red burst of energy would lay waste to monster. With the monster dispatched Keimusho brought his sword to his sheath.
Keimusho proceeded to bring the old man down from the tree as he would not be able to bring himself down. He could not immediately find the branch that he used to walk with and would quickly turn his attention to Squall. "Hey are you alright?", he asked Squall. It was probably something he should've done initially as he was hit point blank with the smog but still it was safe to assume that he was more capable than the average individual.

Keimusho's eyes widened at the revelation. The fact that there where other worlds was a concept that was completely unknown by the ninja, but as the mercenary had told him, it was something that was happening to many individuals and it was evident that most would be equally shocked or even more so. Still though it would be something that the Au Ra would have to accept, despite the potential dangers in his homeland. In fact, he believed that the Kami brought him here for some purpose, which made this predicament of his easier to accept. The ninja was also rather grateful for not only the mercenary granting him satisfactory answers, but also giving him ways in which he could potentially function in this world.
The mention of the mercenary guild known as the Dragonblades reminded the ninja of the Adventurer''s Guild he heard operated in Eorzea. Though these mercenaries seems to take most priority in helping people. It was something that peeked his interest, but the ninja was not ready to rush into that type of commitment. Besides the ninja preferred to work alone if he could help it. Then there was also some skepticism or rather criticism to be had due to the bounty that caused this village to be victim of arson. "Are you perhaps a member then? One of their leaders? If so then are bounties placed on the head of thine members common place?" Though Keimusho was met with a criticism of his own because of the bandits that the ninja dispatched of. It was something that Keimusho would also need to respond to. "Mayhap it wasn't entirely necessary to dispatch of the bandits, but in the heat of the moment you may have your hand forced and will be forced to make tough decisions in such little time. And for that I must apologize for any villagers scared by that."
It was not that Keimusho regretted his action, however. As a shinobi it was neccesary that he'd be quick and decisive about any action he takes. What was rather amusing was how Caius suggested that he'd become someone trustworthy. Would the common folk place any sort of trust in a shinobi? It's doubtful, but perhaps shinobi are nonexistent in this world or at least in this area. The apparel of the surrounding suggested nothing remotely close to the Far East. Though asking such questions now would prove unnecessary in these current circumstance. Perhaps it would something that he'd eventually look into himself once he gets accustomed to being in Zephon.
As Caius bowed his head, the Au Ra returned the gesture with a bow of his own as he positioned his hands on his thighs then proceeded to give a Far Eastern bow. "If you are going to interrogate perhaps, I can prove to be of assistance then?"

Keimusho had finally get a good look at Caius as he made his way towards him. He gleamed at the mercenary up and down. A gunblade he wielded, but a Garlean he was not. Not that there was other reason to suspect such. The Au Ra never seen anyone not of the Garlean Empire wield a weapon, which begged the question once more. Where in the hells was Keimusho taken? It was a question Keimusho had little time to think of due the previous circumstances of the villages flame, though this was something that he originally intended to ask the bandits, but perhaps the blond-haired man would prove more cooperative than the enemies that chased for his head. Unexpectedly a barrage of questions would be thrown the ninja's way instead. It would seem that he was clueless that in a way, he was the cause of the fire since the bandits were seeking him. This slightly irritated the ninja, but nonetheless he went on to answer the man's question.
"The reason you ask? I know not all the details, but it 'twould seem that these bandits set this village aflame because of some sort of bounty on your head based on the word of one of the more talkative ones. I'd had hoped to restrain more of these bandits to gain a more insight, but as you can see we have only the three here.", said the Au Ra as he paced around to look at his surroundings. "If mine answer was satisfactory, might I trouble you for some questioning of my own? By the Kami, where or what is this place? I remember being in a confrontation with the imperial viceroy and suddenly awakening in these woods, a place that I cannot seem to pinpoint on my map. It is imperative that I get back to Ala Mhigo. so might you be able to point me in the right direction?", the ninja asked.
Obviously the last question was one that Caius nor anyone else in the vicinity could give satisfactory answer because this is not the world of Hydaelyn. Even though Keimusho realizes that he is in unknown lands, that fact alone is not enough to point to another world. That fact would have to be pointed out to the Au Ra by another.

"Splitting up huh? That's probably the best course of action for you. However if you must flee, I shall not allow all of you to.", Keimusho thought. Currently he had one of the bandits unconscious to his feet, so he did not want to go on a slaughter via the bandits. So he would instead disable a few for the time being. He was going to toss daggers in their legs to disable, but then the ninja noticed that the flames of the village were almost put out. This would allow Keimusho to try a different course of actions that he considered earlier. Keimusho's hands weaved the signs Chi followed by Jin. The ninja kept his aim towards a pair of fleeing bandits and activated Hyoton.
The icy winds from the ninjutsu technique froze the two bandits in place. The rest would manage to flee. The bind caused via the ice would not last too long so Keimusho went after the frozen bodies and proceeded to knock the bandits out, by striking the back of their heads with hilt of his kodachi. He proceeds to drag their bodies back where he left the other unconscious bandits. "Hmm I'll need a way to restrain them for when they regain consciousness. Having to continuously knock them unconscious won't prove to be productive at all.", said the ninja. Though it was not like Keimusho had rope on his person so all he could do at this time was bide his time, a virtue taught to him courtesy of his shinobi training.
Though it was evident that he need not wait long as there was another individual who had issues with these bandits, the blond-haired man with a so called bounty on his head. With the bandits fleeing and the villagers putting out the small remainder of flames, that would be the individual that Keimusho would most likely encounter next, but the question was if the man was going to try and look for him because surely it was odd that the number of bandits that were chasing him suddenly lessened.

Keimusho could be seen travelling through the forest with an elderly man on a walking stick or rather a tree branch because that was the only available substitute for a walking stick available at the moment. Just a few days before, Keimusho narrowly saved the live of the elderly man from a berserk golem. However, that episode was not without its damages. It turns out when the old man finally regained consciousness, it was revealed that he had a case of amnesia. Perhaps it was for the best considering that he was the only survivor from his village. He'd have no one to grieve over for the rest of his days, but on the other hand how does a person without their memories feel? How do they function? These were the questions that Keimusho had to ask himself. Either way Keimusho felt that it was right to save the old man and that there was no going back.
"Is anything coming to you yet? Your name? Your past? Anything?", the ninja asked the elder. After scratching his head for a moment the elder responds with, "Eh.. No nothing yet sonny." "It's alright, no need to strain yourself over it. Maybe someone can help you once we get to Torensten." The ninja took a moment to look over a map, cause obviously he still wasn't complete accustomed to the area, let alone Serentestra. "Alright if we stay on track, we will get to Torensten in no time.", the Au Ra said. "What is Torensten like?", the old man asked. Keimusho had no answer. Keimusho didn't really know how any place in the countrysince he has been constantly travelling since coming to Zephon. It was ironic since the ninja didn't experience much travel back in his homeworld. He had to fend off Garleans in Doma. The ninja simply stayed silent and kept his foot foward.

As Keimusho kept running, it seemed odd that the mage was no longer being slung at him. As the ninja had his mind occupied with his escape, the clashing of the corrupted earth left by Doton and the mage's Thundaga spell sent a boulder that conveniently trapped the mage in place. By this time, Keimusho was too far away to notice this occurrence. The only indication of anything of the sort was the screams of the mage. By the time the Au Ra escaped with the old man over the horizon his body had completely thawed, though still unconscious. He placed the old man on the ground to check if he was still breathing and for the Au Ra to take a breather himself.
"It seems that you are the only one from your village that survived. I may not be able to do much for you, but at least I can promise to bring you somewhere that you could live the rest of your days in relative peace. Though before then I'll have to bring you to someone who could treat your injuries.", Keimusho said aloud. This was less a message meant for the old man since he was unconscious, but more of a mental note of Keimusho's next objective. Keimusho once again lifted the old man though this time he was placed on his back rather than on a single shoulder. Then the ninja would make for his departure from the area completely.
