Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.
'Ninety-eight, ninety-nine, one hundred!' Even if he was in a different world, Zack still managed to get his daily amount of squats in before the day began. Today he was going into the main part of the city to get some stuff for the inn. The owner said he didn't have to and that he did enough around the place, but he wanted to pick some stuff up anyways, so it just seemed like the smart thing to just get what she needed while he was there. Sometimes he had good ideas!
As he walked into town, he had his hands behind his head. It was still a bit chilly out, but it wasn't enough to make Zack put on a coat. He honestly didn't even wear it that often when it was cold out. Not only was he pretty used to the cold, but he was always out working on something or tracking something, so the movements kept him pretty warm. He hadn't worn his coat since he had gone skiing with Genesis. That whole interaction still blew his mind, but it was fun!
What he needed in town was simple. Groceries. He was only one man, but he could sure work up an appetite! Of course he didn't buy things to make actual meals, more of the stuff you could put in a toaster oven or microwave since his room didn't have an oven. Zack had thought about moving out and getitng his own place, but he really did like living there. He met all kinds of people who stayed to travel, and the owner always had something for him to do.
Today he was picking up new tags for the room keys, some new dustpans for housekeeping, and a couple new room numbers since someone had decided to run around peeling some off for some reason. He was leaving with the tags and the numbers when he thought he saw familiar blonde hair. Way too familiar. Gettting his hopes up, he went the direction of the blonde, eyes going wide when he was correct. "Cloud!? Is that really you!?"

reunited
Torensten, a realm of unfamiliar streets and faces, had welcomed Cloud Strife with both curiosity and suspicion. The cobblestone pathways whispered secrets, and the air carried a hint of magic — a blend of hope and uncertainty. Cloud’s arrival, like an uninvited guest at a grand masquerade, left him disoriented and questioning the whims of fate once again. The memories of his previous world clung to him like shadows, elusive and fragmented. How had he crossed the threshold into Torensten? The answer remained elusive as if buried beneath layers of forgotten dreams and half-remembered battles. Fate, that capricious weaver, had spun a new tapestry for him. One where the threads of destiny were knotted and tangled.
No familiar faces greeted him here. No Aerith, no Barret, no Tifa. Only strangers with curious glances and guarded expressions. Cloud’s sword, the iconic Buster Sword, felt heavier against his back, a constant reminder of his past life. He had been a hero once, a SOLDIER, but now he was a wanderer .. a nameless silhouette in a foreign land.
The wooden town board stood at the heart of Torensten, its surface etched with inked requests. Monster slaying, construction, patrols. The mundane tasks of a realm teetering on the edge of something greater. Cloud’s gaze swept over the parchment. Each quest a thread connecting him to this place. He wondered if he could find purpose here, if these deeds would fill the void left by Midgar’s crumbling memories. And then, as if orchestrated by some unseen conductor, a voice sliced through the ambient murmur. A voice that resonated with memories buried deep within Cloud’s psyche. “Cloud!” The syllables hung in the air, a lifeline thrown across the abyss. He turned, cerulean eyes narrowing, and there he was: Zack Fair, unmistakable even in this unfamiliar world.
Zack, his comrade, his friend — the one who had fought alongside him, laughed with him, and shared dreams of SOLDIER glory. How could Zack be here? How could he call out Cloud’s name when no one else knew it? The smirk that tugged at Cloud’s lips betrayed his stoicism. Zack had always seemed like the wild card, the spark that ignited hope even in the darkest of times.
“Zack,” Cloud replied, voice steady. “You’re a stubborn one, aren’t you?” The memories surged .. a SOLDIER, the cryo sleep, Zack’s infectious laughter. They were more than friends. They were brothers forged in battle.
There was a lot of emotions running through Zack at the moment. Regret that he wasn't able to help Cloud get back home back in Midgar. Happy to be able to see and talk to his friend again. Sad that Cloud had ended up here in the first place. Nervous because he wasn't sure about how Cloud felt about everything. Most of all though, he had to admit, was that he was excited to hang out with Cloud again. Of course that one trumped everything.
"Yeah, I've been told things like that before." Though how Cloud said it was a little nicer. Then again, it had probably been Genesis to have a remark like that in the past, so Zack knew not to take it too seriously. "Though I don't look at it like it's a bad thing, so there's that." He figured that Cloud wouldn't think it was, but he wanted to make sure anyways. He was just nervous and excited to see Cloud, so he was just kind of rambling.
Bouncing back and forth slightly on his heels, Zack scratched at the back of his head. He hadn't expected to see Cloud today, so he wasn't sure what say or do in this moment. If he had just arrived, Zack could show him around, maybe even offer his place to stay at if he needed. Roommates! "Did you just get here?" Obviously Zack wasn't going to ask Cloud how he had gotten there, but would listen if he wanted to say it anyways.
Zack could barely remember what it was like to first arrive on Zephon, that had been quite a while ago. He just remembered finding the inn, and helping the old lady out around the place in exchange for a room. Then, he just kind of stayed there anyways, even though he had the money to move. He liked helping out, and why move when this place was just fine the way it was. He would definitely help Cloud in any way that he could.
