"Lost Identity"
Gazing up to the night sky, the young woman had finally gotten a chance to be alone with her thoughts. She was within the Shiva marketplace for the evening, perusing some of the wares. She hadn't bought anything as of yet, though she did have some allowance. The idea of having allowance felt...strange. Was it because of her age? The amnesia that riddled her, left faint impressions that she was beyond the age for such. Even as her current circumstances were far from ordinary. Thus far, she'd met people who seemed to know her but she couldn't recall them, not even a little. Anymore such faces would just be too much and whilst she felt bad even thinking on it; she'd prefer to meet new people.
With someone new, she wasn't constrained to try to act in a way she currently wasn't able to. The person she was at the moment, was inquisitive and happy to play things by ear. With no grand destiny or predefined notions of who she must be or what she must do. Just fresh, like the snow that was falling. Soon it would melt and give way to spring. What was spring like in these lands exactly? Given the climate, she couldn't imagine it warm enough to wear light clothing, for example. One such stall that she looked towards had clothes for sale. Finely woven scarves, mittens, sweaters, even coats were available.
Nothing that indicated spring fashion, yet alone that it was on its way. So Luna turned her gaze from that stall and looked about. A twinkle caught her eye from her periphery, leading the blonde to turn and walk in that direction. With a scrutinizing gaze, she looked at each stall, trying to find that refracting light that caught her eye until--- "There it is!" excitedly; Luna began to run. There was something so liberating to doing this simple act. Weaving through the crowds, with quick words of etiquette given in passing; she found a stall that seemed to be tucked away from the majority.
The vendor was selling various trinkets and bobbles, the kinds tourists would love. The display was well done as the items were within a glass case atop the a countertop. The item in question that had the shine was a snow globe. The lighting was changing to different colours that reflected the season. A nice contrast to the snow that was gently falling within the globe and the actual snow that was piling atop her head. She could put on the blueish white winter hat or toque as it was also called. However the fresh air of Mt. Hotan blowing through her admittedly messy high ponytail, was way too refreshing. Not having it done up properly, was also liberating. So too was the change in colour, the midnight blue coat she was adorned in, with the black ankle boots was different to the outfit she arrived in Sonora proper with. Beneath her coat, she was actually wearing blue jeans and a black sweater, very casual.
"Excuse me, how much is this snow globe?"
