II. PERSONA
"I do not fear death. What I fear is doing nothing and losing everything." This statement reveals the core Lunafreya's personality, one of conviction. She holds herself to a standard that is difficult for others to meet, without expecting others to do the same for themself. In this way, Lunafreya is quite selfless. Filled with empathy, she does her best to aid others, often going above and beyond. Whilst she is a lady of a higher class, she does not use that class against the populace.
In turn, people are moved by her charm because they can see how genuine and humble Lunafreya is. To maintain her conviction requires discipline and patience. She is not the type to overly indulge or to procrastinate when others are relying on her. Knowing that people rely on her, gives Lunafreya strength to proceed. While her love has transformed her and given her courage to do what must be done.
Doing what must be done, isn't always simple. To be good at statecraft requires cunning and intelligence alike. Reading people and making subtle actions to not draw too much attention, is key. At the same time, without a good moral compass, one's actions can lead to a dark road. Still, these are merely attributes associated with Lunafreya's public persona.
In private then, Luna is truly quite amicable but doesn't shy away from her feelings. Nor is she pushy about them either, a gentlewoman displays a hand of tact and grace alike. It is easy to say she is kind and well-mannered, for such is expected of her due to her upbringing. Her maturity was displayed from a young age, bearing the responsibility of being an Oracle and confidently looking forward to aiding her childhood friend.
To wrap this up with a bow, one last facet of her personality is needed. This is faith and trust, in which Lunafreya holds a high amount of this for the Astrals. Dutifully, she followed their will and did not consider their intentions. Once this devotion was broken, she rebelled rather than break or give in to despair.

III. HISTORY
Asleep in a bed inside a former store front, Luna's summoning to Zephon is as mysterious as it was silent. Discovered around midnight, a man name Lorenzo opens the 'shop' in order to do business. There's good gil in the whispers along the Velvet Street, especially if it fuels black market enterprises. Lorenzo's experience regarding the Dimensional Travelers is quite good, seeing as he represents one such figure discreetly. Leveraging his Mistress' resources, he seeks to help this traveler in her time of need.
He has two problems he must address. The first is that Luna has amnesia and outside her name, remembers fragments of her past. The second is that she's seen something in her dreams and deciphering that could spell disaster or great fortune. Alerting his Mistress, he vows to keep his guest safe and concealed from prying eyes. So, how did this all come to pass?
Born to the royal family of Tenebrae, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret was a Princess. Raised alongside her older brother, Ravus Nox Flueret, her childhood was filled with wonderful memories. Try as she might to recollect them in the present, only sentiments fill her mind. The greatest source of emotion is a "friend" she holds dear. She can recollect him visiting her home and struggling to say her name. "Luna" he ended up saying, this nickname is something that has stuck with her in the present.
Filled with a sense of responsibility, Lunafreya recollects a sacred duty that was given to her, on behalf of the (Astrals) Gods. Though she cannot recollect who these Gods are in the present day, she remembers reciprocating to their will. So much so, that she shares with someone the legacy of the Crystal. She remembers stressing the importance of their lineage, for the Gods had chosen this person to expel the plague of darkness from Eos.
If asked about a very challenging moment in her life, she can recollect the invasion of Tenebrae. How the Niflheim Empire came and seized control, rendering her Princess no more. The pain of loss for those who died, especially her Mother is but a fragment retained. Once more, she struggles to remember a sacrifice she made, as she was separated from someone special. Left only with the sentiment of hope and relief, through this sacrifice, someone was spared.
Strife was a thing she grew with, as she was kept captive and her home surrendered. Even now, her heart remained steadfast, for whilst she was no longer a Princess, she had inherited her Mother's role as Oracle. To that end, she planned to call upon
the Gods and do the role given to her. What that entailed she couldn't say at present, though she knows her struggles were in part, to guide someone precious. For them, she found ways to communicate, with a feeling of nostalgia as she awaited their messages.
From here, time feels ephemeral and disjointed feelings guide her towards the dawn of truth. Lunafreya recalls the feeling of Death quite vividly. Had she died with purpose? Did she fulfil her duty? Whilst she cannot put the pieces together coherently, she recollects being revived by one of the Gods. In her revival she is given a new power, the ability to absorb Daemons and take on the darkness. A companion challenges her faith but she remains steadfast in following her calling.
As the deep dive unfolds, the memories lead to the void of her mind. She recollects struggle, being changed but retaining her will through it all. Most importantly, she remembers her trust betrayed! Which of the Gods would do this, when they had saved her from death? All she can remember, is to be wary henceforth, that she will need tact and the aid of other Gods to best the one who betrayed her.
Strange, hasn't she done this already? Then...why must she do it again?
