"Clarissa"
Light Saga: The 3rd Birthday, pt. 5 Twilight road to Nightfall
"Oh~? You probably have then. Lorenzo is no stranger around these parts and he has been accompanying my guest." Clarissa would admit with some excitement as Lorenzo was very dependable. This light-hearted vibe, persisted, though with great effort knowing Caius' familiarity with her condition. She wanted to remain strong, she had to, even through seeing Caius' pain. She didn't wince when his grip on her hand became tighter, she kept her gaze looking at him, because her light was strong. Her guest wanted to snuff out this light in her heart and soul, there would be a harsh price to pay for such a glutton.
Noctis, there was a glimmer in both her eyes at the mention of this name. Unfortunately, try as she might, nothing came to mind visually. This was a frustrating thing and even the parasite within was briefly distressed. Caius' fear was heart breaking but to the parasite, she seemed to thrive on this. Thus the idea of an entity who could oppose the Starscourge was distressing still. She would not tolerate being so openly threatened! Once he looked away from Lumina, her gaze, ever smiling, ever patient, started to become hollow. Life was sucked out from her eyes, leaving her to be merely a smiling doll, kept standing through some other, dark power.
"You might be right about that woman but do you think I'd let you get to her? I intend to keep her busy, to make sure her memories whatever they are...remain in darkness."
there was the Parasite's voice, within his mind, far stronger than it was at the dinner.
To accompany this, particles of darkness began to manifest around Lumina before a potent illusion came forth at Lumina's side. Gone was familiar pink hair, familiar sea blue eyes, this was the inevitable end stage, the Daemon within.
"Are you sure you want to go inside, with her as she is now? I have many roads I can take but one thing remains certain. Zephon will succumb to Nightfall and I will herald the end of everything."
as the Daemon spoke, using Lightning's voice; the real Lightning fell to slumber. Leaning forward as her body was going limp.
"My name is Eve by the way. It is customary to inform lifeforms such as yourself with this amount of pleasantry. As I'm certain you've been scheming, once I manifest, you intend to kill me. Thus, I've developed a contingency plan ahead of my evolution. I will take all the memories that make her Claire Farron; leaving behind the false identity of Clarissa Fairborn. That should keep you in line."
The confident smirk that Eve held, as she placed her left hand on her hip. A threat for a threat, how she'd matured since the last time. She was young back then, immature. No doubt that man and his gift, was a fated encounter. Ah, how rude...he had been so charming, giving his name even.
"Besides, I believe you have bigger problems. A lovely gentleman by the name of Ardyn Izunia. So long as a version of him exists here on Zephon, Darkness and Chaos shall entwine across the lands. Forcing God's hand to destroy this world in his righteous wrath."

The Dragonblade
All of Caius' fears came to life as Lumina folded against him, an illusion forming at her side. He could sense it right away, the scourge-bound creature. It was here also that he realized that the parasite wasn't pure scourge. Something new and original was at the base of it, only blighted on top of that to give it further strength. It was far more sentient than the scourge had ever been, calling itself Eve.
"Pretty name. I like Lumina, or Claire, better myself however."
The shakes had stopped soon after the creature had appeared. When it began taunting him, his panic surprisingly began to fade away. It wasn't completely gone, no. Just pushed under the surface as Caius turned to stare at the creature, a smirk beginning to spread across his expression. He knew when desperation was seeping in, and even this parasite was capable of feeling it. It felt threatened, very threatened, by what they were capable of doing. He was indeed worried about the possibility that if it were to separate from her and materialize as its own thing, that it would take her memories. The memories of their time together that Caius had feared losing himself with all the instances of people disappearing lately. But he had belief in something that perhaps the parasite didn't. Better yet...
"Memories on Zephon come, go, and come back. Even if you take them, they will return. That is the way of this world" Caius spoke as he did his best to bring confidence to the fore. "But it's funny that you materialize when I bring up Noctis. Because I don't think Noctis is what you should be worrying about. Or even me."
A cheeky grin began to form as Caius cocked his head towards Lumina. "You underestimate her."
The creature's clear desperation had given him hope. A light at the end of the tunnel. The idea that they could actually do this, and that they had the resources and capability, if the parasite was taking these measures now. Threatening him with Lumina's memories. It told more story of its own weaknesses than anything else it had ever done. But there was another weakness, and that was one Caius was happy to share, to continue its desperation, to let it grow even more worked up... And eventually make a mistake.
"You claim to know how hard she's fighting, you complained about it before. But let's be honest. You have no idea just how strong she really is" Caius gladly brought up. "She's aided me in ways that nobody else could. Not Kings, Queens, Generals or gods. Through pure determination and compassion, she's helped me to heal and find my way forward. And that's how I know that even without Noctis, or even myself... She'd figure it out eventually. Of course..."
Caius wrapped his arms around Lumina, and took a deep breath as he began to channel his magic. "Doesn't mean she can't have a little help."
It had occurred to him that his magic made him innately resistant to the scourge. And if it scourge was what was anchoring the parasite's strength and allowing it to take hold as much as it was, and to spread...
Flashes of blue light began to flow from Caius and into Lumina. Infusing her with his own magic. He may not be able to give someone his abilities the way Noctis could, but as the Power of Kings was shown to be something flexible and able to be melded, kneaded and shaped in the way that the user desired... There was one thing he was sure that he could do.
And that was use his magic to push back the parasite. Drown it out, push it down as far and for as long as humanly possible. So that its ability to spread would, for now, stop. That it couldn't harm Lorenzo or her father, or others in Sonora any longer. It would buy Lumina time, he hoped. Buy her time for them to find a solution. After all, this was the same kind of magic that Noctis had used to blot out the scourge in the first place. Not as powerful, but it was clear that in the Power of Kings, the scourge had a weakness.
Even if her eye began to heal and the illusion disappeared, he didn't stop. He kept channeling his magic, even when his magic began to hit dangerously low levels.
And then finally, it stopped. Caius held out his arms to keep her from hitting the ground as he fell to his knees himself, short of breath. He'd hit Stasis, a temporary state of magic shortage stemming from overuse of the Power of Kings. While he had enough to protect himself if need be, his stamina was spent.
This was how he had chosen to repay her for her kindness. The least he could do was give her some time with her father without fear.
"It was nice... Hah... Meeting you... Eve. Heh."

"Clarissa"
Clarissa Gaiden
Eve raised a brow in response to Caius' preference of names. She didn't seem convinced of that though. What concerned her then, was the lessening of fear. Had she overplayed her hand by showing up now? She could not understand these meatsuits, leaving her with annoyance. Her expression turned to a scowl at the prospect of brushing off her threat. Memories and their function was unique in this world but she felt that her underestimated the true nature of memories.
She'd grant Caius one thing, underestimating Claire was a bad idea. It had led to her demise before, Eve was not keen to repeat such this time. Thus, if she gave into his goading, that would be her loss. It would bring up old feelings, of anger, frustration, disbelief...and anxiety. Things which spoke of sapience, of being an individual...clinging to life. The mission she sought was greater than her singular existence but her capacity to become so singular minded had long left, for she had evolved. Thus, as he spoke she retained some dignity until he offered help.
"W-what are you doing!? No...Cease this at once!"
Eve cried out in behest. Feeling that power, it hurt, the familiar light manifested around her projection and brought her to her knees. IT HURT! Eyes narrowed now as she grit her teeth, her desire to lash out, to cause pain painted upon her visage as he kept going. She knew he'd not stop until any trace of her was pushed deep within. To think that Caius would be a spoiler now, in spite of her plans...
"Your determination is commendable...Though I'm not so sure you're worthy of this. After all...you don't love her."
and strangely, Eve was...bitter about that. Some part of her entanglement must have saw Lumina as more than just a meat suit.
"Unfortunately for you, I'm not a woman to make idle threats. Memories come and go in this world but the ones most precious, that of the memories a person makes here on Zephon? Those are not guaranteed to return. Seeing as you've delayed me for now, I should forewarn you of something important!"
Eve's voice was strained, she coughed soon after, feeling her strength waning despite the time she'd built up, gestating.
"The gods saw fit to remove Lightning from this world and brought a different version in her place. This world doesn't allow duplicates of the same person. What do you suppose happens when there is no Lightning, an incomplete version to accommodate for a Lumina, the other side of Lightning, to co-exist in this world? Without me, Caius...There would be no memories, no Lumina here. I will prove it to you~"
Slowly the manifestation of Eve began to disperse into particles of darkness, rising into the winter sky above before vanishing completely. True enough, Lumina's eye recovered, no longer showing signs of the foul taint. On the other hand, that wasn't the only transformation taking place. Lumina's face began to change. It was subtle and gradual, yet Eve did have her due as promised.
The similarities between Clarissa Fairborn and Claire Farron were there, sometimes uncanny but only from a distance. Up close, they were naturally two different people who weren't related in the slightest. She had also shrunk a bit, though still taller than young Claire it wasn't by much. It spoke to the gifted physicality Lightning had as a soldier. Even if Lumina expressed it in slightly different ways, the removal was easy to discern.
Thus her eyes fluttered opened and she looked up to her Prince charming with clear confusion and uncertainty:
"You're...not Lorenzo."this was certainly not Lumina's voice! Nor was it Lightning's mature voice. Yet she'd spoken loud enough that one Reinard Vidius had opened the door. He looked surprised, no doubt due to the situation he saw of his adoptive daughter in the arms of a man but unbenowst to Caius, it was the familiarity he picked up on.
"Clarissa?"
he called out, largely surprised but his expression was that of disbelief.

The Dragonblade
“Your determination is commendable...Though I'm not so sure you're worthy of this. After all...you don't love her."
Caius rolled his eyes at that remark. Feeding on his own previous insecurities of where things possibly stood, go figure. The fact was he wasn’t sure where he was at, not in a way he could voice anyway. But deep down, he knew something was there. He just wasn’t ready to bring it up. Not just yet.
“Don’t bother speaking of things you know nothing about.”
Then Eve began rambling more. It could be truth, could be lies. He wasn’t sure. What he did know was that no matter the consequences, her safety and that of those around her had to come first. So he didn’t stop until he dropped.
“Claire. Her name is Claire. That doesn’t change.”
Simple and calm, confident in the older Claire’s ability to overcome whatever was in front of her. Lightning, Lumina, those were all just labels in his view. And while shenanigan had created a second Claire out of a technicality, Lumina had mastered herself enough to regain herself as the older Claire. Even with the parasite trying to stop that from happening.
So he was definitely surprised to see her change form completely, different in age and voice. Caius knew what was coming the moment he saw her change, but…
It didn’t make her forgetting him hurt any less. The heartbreak wasn’t something he could hide, and he averted his eyes at that.
“I feel old but I don’t think I am quite there just yet.”
Hiding his pain behind a mask was the ‘ol reliable for Caius. And there was no point in sending her into a panic regardless. So he kept his calm on the surface and looked over when her father showed up.
“Uncle? I thought you were her father?” Caius brought up with a quirked brow, staring at her “uncle” in confusion as they apparently couldn’t even keep her assumed identity straight. One that Lumina still hadn’t fully elaborated on to him. Caius managed to pull himself to his feet, bringing “Clarissa” up with him as he made his way to uncle dad, being forced to lean on him to keep himself standing.
“A monster attempted to take possession of her body” Caius whispered to them as he did so. “I have managed to stopgap it with my magic, but they appear to have activated a defense that has reverted her to a prior state. How, I don’t know. But it should be temporary, as my own method was. I wanted to buy her some time before it could do her any harm.”
Not the entire truth, but enough to give them a gist of the situation without blowing Lumina’s cover.
“You should get her inside. She should be safe for the time being, at least. I used up my reserves entirely to make sure.”

Clarissa Gaiden: The Girl Who Lost Everything
"Struck a nerve, huh~? Well, you'll feel more than this soon enough."
Eve replies, with an air of superiority despite suffering a defeat. There was more up her sleeves, unlike her prior attempt, she had taken the time to plan, to do this the correct way.
"Ah yes, Claire. A name she abandoned once. She's so good at being others and so bad at being 'Claire'."
Eve notes cryptically and those would be her final words, for now.
With confusion setting in, Reinard retained a calm and distinguished air. He listened to Caius' explanation and in turn helped to keep him up for a moment. When he felt he'd assess the situation enough, he'd help get the two of them inside. There was a nice L-section sofa with a cozy fireplace that was active. Mog would float on over, only to look perplexed.
"Where's Lightning, kupo~?" This caused Reinard to sigh, gesturing for Caius to have a seat, plenty of room. Only then did he speak to the situation unfolding.
"Prior to the adoption, Uncle was what Clarissa called me. You're saying a monster did this...? She looks and sounds like how I'd expect her to age, yet memory wise, she's speaking as she would before the 'accident'."
this was not a story he expected to tell, given the implications. He did have a theory of sorts but it felt so surreal that he wasn't hoping for anything.
"You suffered from an assassination attempt. A young woman that looked like you, was killed in your stead and you were injured. We had to take care of you as you suffered amnesia, until now. Do you...remember?"
these were words he had said in the past and the reply he got back had been heart breaking.
"...I remember...being attacked yes. I don't remember another person being near me. If I had amnesia...How many years has it been?"
"It will be three years in a few days..."
Hearing such, left Clarissa stunned as she started to go pale. The idea of losing so much time, her voice sounded different, she felt different. Audibly gulping for a moment, she turned her attention first to Caius and then to Mog.
"Are these two...associates of yours?" hearing such, left Mog dejected and confused, unlike Caius not only could Mog not hide it, there was no means to cope for it either.
"...I'm sorry. I do remember being struck and fading. I thought I died..." yet she was alive and that frightened her. "T-that other person...who was it?"
"An Outlander. She had come with a group of scholars, that were caught in the crossfire."

The Dragonblade
“If you’re that invested in love, maybe try building your own body.”
Calm snark came out of his mouth once more. The challenge of a visible opponent was something that Caius could handle with relative ease. The mistake that the parasite had made was revealing itself and in turn, bringing Caius into his element.
“She’s still Claire in the end.”
Then the demon was gone, only Clarissa remained, and he was in uncharted territory once more. They would be helped in and seated, and then began the story. Ever so slowly, Caius pieced together the situation. The man’s daughter, Clarissa, had died, and Lumina for reasons unknown, had been allowed to take her place. And the father actually seemed to know, even if never directly stated and as much as he danced around it.
If he was to guess, he had adopted Lumina and passed her off as Clarissa to protect her from the Sonorans. Which explained a great deal. Caius lowered his head. And closed his eyes in acknowledgment of the man’s loss.
This was a difficult situation for Clarissa as well, and likely even more for the father who was seeing his daughter the way she was before she was killed. Caius didn’t even want to imagine what they were going through right now.
"Are these two...associates of yours?"
“The prospective boyfriend, or so you’ve been telling me.”
He moved to pat Mog on the head as he tried to keep his calm, the jokes serving a purpose in of itself. Subtly, he was trying to jog her memory. But in a way safe enough to play off if it failed.

Clarissa Gaiden: The Girl Who Lost Everything
Although Eve could not retort, it was clear that if she did, it would be to laugh. To bring forth old pains and new, intermingling in different ways to the people around Clarissa. Often, facing the truth of something and concealing much needed context, was vastly superior to spinning a web of lies. Even at the mention of her being Claire in the end, he could imagine Eve saying "is she now?" for as events unfolded the impossible had surfaced.
"Had Clarissa...returned from the dead?" Just looking at Reinard's expression as he listened and interacted with his adoptive daughter, it became clear that he was thinking it, though his eyes held some disbelief. The ruse of their relationship prior of pretending and just accepting the status quo, was lost. Yet if things were so simple, then Eve's ploy would not be nearly as effective. Thus the pardox would unfold with an interesting response from the woman herself:
"Still only prospective boyfriend...huh?" she whispered it, eyebrows scrunched and cheeks flushing bit by bit. Mog didn't seem to hear it, though he was calmed by Caius touch momentarily.
"I've heard this story before, kupo~ Feels a lot more...real this time. Let me see if I can tell the next part, kupo!" Mog perks up, he'd gotten to hear it shortly after the big introductions and before things went awry. Clearing his throat, Mog readied himself for quite the story.
"Clarissa was different since waking from her injuries. There was confusion but she seemed to adapt to her new circumstances rather well. Plunging herself into being the heir of a powerful company, she desired to prove herself, kupo. The test she arranged...was to 'secure' a portion of Dust, sneak it into Sonora then prove she could get it out. With her flashy magic and wits, she ended up succeeding and thus started a subsidiary outside of Sonora to do business. She ran into someone that she helped too...though the name has been lost, kupo..."
Clarissa appreciated the recap but looked in disbelief about what occurred. "I...did want to prove myself but that sounds like smuggling. T-that's illegal! I can't use magic...I could run a business though. The ones outside Sonora run much smaller profit and loss charts. Itemizing everything would be simple enough and getting goods from places besides Provo would be useful. I'd want to get magical crystals imported."
"You've already done that. Though we've run into a problem getting them inside."
Reinard was more amazed that there were similarities that ran beyond their looks. In fact, when he looked to Caius and Mog, he finally spoke what was on his mind:
"Is it...possible that Clarissa is...in there? With...Claire, I mean."
His voice was strained, clearly despite consciously knowing that Claire was not Clarissa, it hurt to acknowledge it outloud like this. Yet this newfound hope, wasn't it cruel?
"Erm...wouldn't that mean Clarissa's soul is...inside too? That's a lot to take in, kupo."
Unfortunately, to act as spoiler to all of this speculating... "Who is this Claire and why are you speaking about me as if I'm dead? I'm right here. Unless...are you mistaking me for that Outlander? That's...no." getting up she moved away from the sofa and went around a corner. Seemed like she could navigate this place easily, it must have been a familiar place. When she returned shortly afterwards, she placed both hands on her hips as she looked to all three of them.
"Sure, I look older...I can believe time has passed. It feels like more than three years really but I still recognize myself, more or less. So then...what's going on, really?" her words inadvertently were accentuated by stray bolts of lightning leaping around her figure.

The Dragonblade
Perhaps it was because he'd been specifically searching her for a reaction, but...
Caius heard that.
A small, but sly, mischievous grin began to form. Along with an idea. “Would you care to pick the next date location then, Claire-issa?” Caius teased then, knowing the pronounciation and teasing her a bit had a chance of poking at her dormant memories. “With the monster pushed back, we should be able to go out together safely, if you would like.”
He had to avert his gaze from her father, however, as he said this. Because the more he spoke, the more he remembered her father was listening to him tease her on the topic of romance. And the more that he spoke, the more that his cheeks heated up and the harder he chewed the inside of his cheek awkwardly until he just found himself looking down at his own knees to avoid everyone at once. Sure, there was a practical purpose. But he wasn’t all that forward like Lumina was.
The possibility was broached, as she spoke up, that Clarissa’s soul could remain in her. Cassius managed to find the courage to look back to her grieving father. “It’s likely she is projecting what she remembers of her. But having another soul inside her is just another Tuesday for Claire” came a touch of sass, but he knew ‘er long that there was no happiness to be found in this subject. “I’m sorry. I wouldn’t get your hopes up. I know what it’s like to lose your loved ones and how desperately you want them back.”
They soon reached a point where “Clarissa” began demanding to know what was going on. Caius let out a sigh as he considered his words, piecing together how to put this gently in a way that wouldn’t break her brain. “You were attacked by a monster, a parasite. I did my best to use my magic to keep it away, but it messed with your memories. That’s why you don’t remember everything that’s happened.”
Remembering his plan, he placed a hand on his cheek with a jokingly disappointed breath. “Which is a shame, truly. It would have been nice to have company out in Sonora.”

Clarissa Gaiden: The Girl Who Lost Everything
Although she could hardly remember the first date or any, she didn't seem perturbed by this idea of picking a location. "...There is an arcade that might be fun, think of it like going to different booths, except everything is self contained in a cabinet." Seemingly, lurking beneath, traces of Claire though Eve would certainly make it difficult.
"...I'd ask you to not mistake me for this 'Claire', prospective boyfriend. Although, I don't think the idea of my soul resting with another's is farfetched. Whatever this monster is, perhaps it destabilized something inside...us? Alternatively, whatever you did to save us, woke me up? Thank you, either way. Light works in mysterious ways~" At this stage, it'd be difficult to tell definitively between projection or something more arcane. What was clear, yet subtle, was the memories were not erased or stolen. They simply seemed to act as a layer, concealed beneath the persona...for the time being.
"...I think I'm fit enough to accompany you in Sonora now, either way. I want to see what's changed and to become reacquainted. Honestly, it's hard to reconcile...nearly three years." Briefly, she looked rather somber, causing Reinard to clear his throat.
"Although I'd rather not get my hopes up, you seem to be a good medicine of sorts. She reacts quite naturally to you, with no gaps despite the memory loss or perhaps memory suppression? You're not in a rush to be anywhere, are you, Caius? I can make some calls and arrangements. My son, Lorenzo, the 'butler' as he enjoys pretending to be, should be at the hospital with other infected patients. I'd like to make a call to him to update him. Clarissa's guest seems quite good at healing and handling this situation so far but the amount of inpatients is becoming too much for one person. If you could drop by at some point during your stay to help her, that might help us contain this."
He soon took out his phone, idly playing with in his hands, before he recollected something else.
"...I almost forgot, in light of the situation. There is something else. Claire's sister, Mog if you could take time to go visit her in Sonora and update her, that'd be great."
Mog who was quite attentive, gave a salute to the Chairman. He knew Lightning was in good hands here and well, explaining things to Serah was going to be a rollercoaster. On the bright side, it'd be good news, so he'd take the time to make his exit. Clarissa watched Mog leave rather fondly before speaking softly, seemingly to herself, "...It's still me, underneath it all. If I can protect one soul, maybe I can atone for the others..." for the souls Light reaped in order to 'save' this sick world as she dubbed it. The pain of such actions, the guilt remained with her. Even if they weren't her conscious actions as a former fragment. Part of being a whole person was not differentiating between 'sides' or parts anymore.

The Dragonblade
"Well, 'prospective girlfriend'. We will just have to visit that "arcade" of yours when there is time" Caius offered, then. "I have heard of them, but have never actually been to one. They had those in my world, but I lived in the country before the monsters attacked". Was this really the only way to push back her curse? To scramble her memories and have her take an identity that he didn't even recognize? Where she didn't even recognize him? Faintly at best, seeming to only remember him as the "prospective boyfriend". Which he supposed was better than nothing.
Speaking of, Caius made a face when she said not to "mistake" her for Claire. "You -told- me to use that name" Caius reminded her, staring at her while still making that face. Of course he understood that this was Clarissa's memories in play, but he couldn't help the slightest bit of annoyance that she was getting haughty about it. Still, he hoped the reminder might stoke the Lumina memories a little bit.
'Light works in mysterious ways' she said, and he let out a sigh at that. Even as Clarissa, the wordplay was evident. "Yeah. It does" Caius spoke quietly, not even sure where to begin with all this. He hadn't understood the entire explanation but he did know that Claire Farron was no stranger to harboring souls inside of her. Was that really what could have happened? "I'm not going to get the old man's hopes up, but... Last time Claire harbored a soul in her. Wasn't Claire able to restore Serah to life in the end? Or am I getting the history wrong?"
He gave the older gentleman an apologetic look, almost regretting that he'd brought it up at all. He had lost his daughter, and that was pain beyond measure. He hated putting that idea into the universe when it was more than unlikely it could come to fruition. Speaking of him, he would claim that Caius was "good medicine". Asking if he was in a rush to go at all. They wanted him to stay here, that was clear. Stay and help the patients.
"I can... Remain, for some time. I have business in the city that I need to finish. After that, though, I'll need to return home," Caius responded at that. "But once I have ensured everything is going smoothly with my place of business, I can return. I'll have to go back and forth, but at the least I can try to help the patients a little if I meet this healer."
But there was one snag.
"I can't do too much, however. If this healer is who I think she might be... It's possible I can work with her, see if my power is compatible with hers. But there's no guarantees, and just keeping the parasite at bay in your daughter drains me a great deal. If I was a Lucian King, I could do more. But I am no healer."
He couldn't help Yuna, either. The limits of his power became clearer by the day. That feeling of helplessness grew ever stronger...
For a moment, an intrusive thought crossed through him. Why couldn't he have been born in that Lucian bloodline? Why couldn't he have been graced with the abilities of the Lucian Kings, able to wield their magic to the fullest extent? If he had been able to do the same as Noctis, maybe... Maybe he could have kept researching and found ways to use that power to expunge this blighted parasite from Lumina. And from the others who had been infected. With a stronger magic pool, maybe he could have even been better at curative magic, like Yuna and Celes. Maybe he could have kept Yuna from getting overwhelmed at the clinic, and he could have saved lives while alleviating his friends...
But this world had dubbed him purely a fighter. A destroyer of lives. A killer. Yes, he had saved lives in his own way. But not in this one. Celes could, Yuna could, Noctis very likely could if he figured out how... But not him. He was cursed to stay in his lane, and even doing what he had done for Lumina pushed the limits of his power.
As the moment passed however, he breathed and reminded himself there was still things he could do. Unfortunately, he wasn't immune to the scourge either. Just resistant. Exposed to it for too long, he wasn't sure what would happen. However, he stood up when Clarissa's father spoke up.
"Claire's sister? Serah's in Sonora? Or did you misspeak? Is she aware of all... This?"
That was a thought. Did Serah know about Lumina's double life here in Sonora?
