PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME Tifa gave a small smile. "That's good, right? It's always nice to have someone there for you, even if their numbers are smaller than those against you." AVALANCHE had its fair share of members, but Shinra always had more. If they lost some, they were replaced with more. It had seemed like it would be a never ending battle. Until they had switched their focus to Sephiroth and Shinra became a thing of the past. The were going to go back to it after defeating the silver General, but the Meteor took care of it in the end.
If Tifa could not relate with her own experiences, then she would try to help the person. That's just who she was. She had struggled herself and had came out on top due to the help of others, so she tried to return the favor wherever she could. This was a new world, the things she feared were gone, or so she hoped. Sephiroth had come here from a time that was before the chaos, so maybe it was a new beginning.
"I will do my best then to keep an ear out for those that tell the same stories." She wasn't really sure how she would find Terra though if she were to ever find people like that. "So where do you live anyways?" She hoped that her question wasn't too invasive, but it wasn't like she was asking her full address or anything like that.
Then, Terra's image changed, and just as quickly changed back. Tifa had to blink a couple times. "Did you do that?" She figured she did, since she had spoken about her skills just a bit before. Listening, Tifa looked at the ground. "I know how that feels. The group I fought with used explosives to take out the equipment that was harming the planet. Citizens nearby were harmed in the crossfire, and it's something I live with everyday." Barret said it was for a good cause, though it still didn't really feel like it.

Terra could not help but smile as Tifa mentioned that it was always nice to have a group of people close to her. Alongside having that group helping alongside her. The thoughts of all those from back home made her smile internally. Each of them unique and special and she missed all of them dearly. Yet alongside that she knew full well that she had at least one friend here, and yet she purposely kept herself away as to not disturb her. ”Thank you and I will do the same. Should I find anyone that speaks of your story then maybe I will send them your way. As for where I live.. I really do not live anywhere in particular here. I just kind of travel and help out where I can for food and for shelter.” Terra responded as she looked down at her hands before lifting them and grabbing another apple off the tree in front of her. While her shift had occurred she could not help but grasp at the apple and pull it back down. Hearing the question come up from Tifa and then a quick transition to something new came from the monk. Hearing about the explosives hurting innocents she could not help but close her eyes and allow her head to droop as her shoulders slumped a little. ”What I am led to destruction. It was my blood that led to a project that wound up damaging the mind of one man to the point he became insane. Another was hurt because of me and Celes… she was never the same after.”Terra could not help herself as she raised her slightly shaking hand. Grasping it with her other hand she could not help but raise her gaze as she opened her eyes toward Tifa. ”“We… did not save it. Our planet I mean. Instead we doomed it by believing that someone could change and instead the Emperor and his jester played us all for the fools. So many innocent people lost their lives because we chose to believe him. Then he turned the “gift” they said I was born with against the world. Killing entire cities, reshaping the world before our very eyes. I was there recovering outside of a town called Mobliz from injuries I gained during our fight against the pair of them when the town was… cleansed by the Light of Judgement.”
“The shaking of the ground woke me from my fitful slumber and I… I could not believe what I saw. All but two teenagers and then young children of the town had been killed by concentrated magic. So many were killed and I took charge. Despite my injuries I helped them gather the children underground and I took to burying the dead and leading them. I wonder how they are doing right now. The world was better when I left as we had removed the god from his tower but I still worry…” Terra could not help but just let everything out as she finally found a friendly ear to just bend and twist to hear her entire story. There was much that she had kept silent and yet in the moment she felt she could share with Tifa. (( Tifa Lockhart ))

PROMISE YOU'LL COME AND SAVE ME Tifa listened to Terra and gave a small smile back to her. "That's good to hear. I would much rather have a few friends that have my back and that I'm really close to than have a ton of friends that I'm unsure about." Cloud was her closest friend, followed by the rest of AVALANCHE. Her and Cloud had known each other since childhood and even though they had drifted apart, she knew their friendship was still there. They were doing their own things now.
Sometimes it was nice to just have someone to talk, and Tifa was just fine being that person to just about anyone. Even if she didn't know the person, she would listen. Maybe it was the bartender in her, but talking to someone that you may never even see again was sometimes a good way to get it all out. You could vent about everything without the fear of them repeating it to anyone.
Giving a nod, Tifa smiled again. "Of course. My friend Aerith is a very compassionate person and always knows what to say and do in pretty much any situation." Tifa wasn't going to mention her friend was also a healer of sorts because she wasn't sure if Materia still worked here and she didn't want to get Terra's hopes up just to find out there wasn't a way to do things like that.
"I'm sorry to hear that. I can understand losing something close to you, especially a part of yourself." Tifa lost part of herself when the fire in Nibelheim took her home, and then when Sephiroth took her father from her. She had gotten her justice, and now the Sephiroth she met here was from before that time and had no idea the horror he had caused. "That's something to be proud of. Though you made a huge sacrifice, it was for a good reason, and now you're rebuilding. That takes a strong person." @blacksuit
