Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.

"Whether it's Gods or Fate, I'll rebel against them all. We should determine our fate with our own hands..."
"Smaller?" there was a brief moment of pause, then she looked to her hands. "Wowsers..." there was a brief bit of amusement, as if nothing had gone wrong. "I...don't remember much, admittedly. It does feel a bit like deja vu. Hmm, I wonder what Zell's been up to..." she admitted, a bit too casually given their previous discussions. Though it did reveal her amnesia hadn't reset Lumina completely.
Slowly, she was able to get back to her feet. "Phew, that was something... Well, let's finish up work. Torrensten awaits, I'm actually a bit excited about it now. I'll make sure to get you a proper tour of the ship." Lumina was slowly resuming her usual, quickly wanting to get back to business. Ensuring plans were in motion, was the Lumina way admittedly. Though it was unclear what changes would linger permanently. Serah could rest assured that she was well.
Upon looking about, she noticed a familiar clipboard and reached to pick it up. Carefully, she looked over the inventory and nodded her head slowly. "You know, there is a bit of time before we depart. So, if there's anything you'd like to do while we're still here in Provo..." she stated, somewhat cryptically at that. "...Once we leave for Torrensten, it'll be awhile before we come back. So, it's best to make sure that you're ready for a new adventure." Lumina stated, with much enthusiasm.

Ok so, it didn’t seem like Lumina had lost her memory. Or at least the amnesia she was experiencing hadn’t just completely reset her to a childhood state. She remembered Zell after all, who she had never met before coming to this world as an adult. She could only HOPE the same could be said for Light when she got back to ‘her.
”Well… um… I’m sure he’s having a good time around here. Your… sure you don’t feel off or any…”
She was interrupted by her sister and if she was being honest, she wasn’t sure if Lumina new her predicament and was messing with her, she was to excited to get going to care or if she really did just have this weird case of amnesia. Or some combination of all three. Of course, this WAS Lumina so she quickly learned that if something seemed impossible or improbable then in her case it was likely what had happened. It helped that she had first hand experience with the effects of messing with time. Still no one, with the possible exception of Caius and the other Yeul’s should be able to access the flow of time at this point right? At least that was what she had assumed. It was also possible that being able to do so was yet another annoying difference in this world. But who would mess with Claire’s fate like this? The list of people past and present who would want revenge on her was admittedly big but… she couldn’t imagine any of them would settle for just making her a child again. Even if they did she was PRETTY certain they shouldn’t be able to access a time gate to do so, let alone travel them.
What was going on?
”I’d love to get a full tour sis, you… you aren’t just… no nevermind”
Thinking about it, she wouldn’t make a joke about something so important, at least not to her. She would no as well as anyone all the things they had been through, memory loss was not something to joke about. Memories were important.
”Yes, I’d love a tour later”
...Even if the cryptic way she asked if she needed to do anything left her with the smallest bit of suspicion. If nothing else she could tell their was nothing wrong with her health. She could only hope she wouldn’t be buying bottles and toddler supplies next time she blinked. As much as she didn’t like the idea of leaving her on her own she seemed to have everything together despite her changed stature. This wasn’t something she could yet say was the case for Light. She still had time before they left, time enough to go visit and make sure she was ok… perhaps she could even bring her along with them. If they were going to be like this a while, that would by far be the preferable option.
”I’ll need to make sure Light is ok before we head out, especially with these… developments just now… I’m worried about her. In her current condition I not sure Mog will be enough to take care of her. If it’s not to much trouble I’d… like to bring her with us to keep her safe. Before I knew Mog could keep her safe from your average monster but.. alone.. with Light as a child…”
She sighed, shaking her head.
”I know she’s not your favorite person but… Well, you both always took care of me, it’s only right I do the same with you both now right?”
She paused a moment, making sure to add at the end.
”You should… go on a date… or a walk.. with Zell while I’m gone! Yeah… anything just… with Zell, I won’t be around to embarrass you right?”
That should definitely work right?

In truth, Lumina did feel off but she couldn't explain what was off. So, she gave a faint smile and shook her head. "If anything is wrong, I can't tell." she'd admit before placing her hands on her hips. Lumina knew precisely what Serah wanted to ask after agreeing to the tour. It was why she hinted that there was still time, though her reluctance to help more than necessary was emerging.
A faint frown as her eyes diverted for a moment. "Lightning, isn't my favourite person, no." she admitted "So, it's a good thing we're dealing with Claire, yes~?" she admitted, then stood up straight. "I don't mind taking her with us but..." she wagged her right index finger for a moment. A twinkle of mischief or foresight was evident in her sea blue irises. Mog, was definitely not enough per say but it wasn't because Light was strong. Certainly not in her Claire state.
"Likely, she won't want to come with us. She'll want to anchor herself somewhere to keep safe for awhile. Then approach this all at her own pace. Worse, if you don't find her soon, she knows you're an adult now which will bother her. On the other hand, it means she'll loosen her guard. In turn, if she were to meet some dashing guy that was quite strong..." Lumina shrugged, sure she was leaving out the reliable part. In essence, a man the opposite of their Father.
Sensing potential trouble for Serah, she sighed before rummaging about her duster. When she withdrew a key from a hidden pocket, well a key ring more specifically. Lumina tossed it to Serah, "She could at least stay at my place, I don't mind if she uses my room. We're one and the same, right now at least." there was an amused smirk on her lips for a moment. Contemplating how Serah would handle Lightning latching onto someone, just as Serah had with Snow. It was so audacious, that she spun about on her heel, so that her back was facing Serah. Her hands moved to her lips, trying to prevent laughter escaping her lips.
"Well, it'd be a little taste of her own medicine... Not that I'd wish that on her but irony is fun!" she mused.

So, she was really the only one noticing anything was wrong? Even Lumina was oblivious to what she had seen right in front of her eyes. But Serah knew she was not crazy. Just like she knew she wasn’t crazy when Lightning disappeared. It was just fine if no one believed her this time, because she knew the truth. She would figure out what was going wrong here and if she could, she would fix it. She could only be thankful that it was not so major that someone had vanished from her life like before. No lives had been shattered by this shift in the timeline. It only caused confusion so far, a confusion it seemed only she was meant to feel. But that was ok. The solution was simple right? All she had to do was take care of her sisters. The same way they had always taken care of her. It was time to put Claire Farron first for once. She would stand with her sisters. She would make sure she were ok. No matter what, She would protect her family.
’Well then I guess everything’s just fine then, sorry sis”
She could not help but giggle at the distinction Lumina made. If Light was effected like Lumina was it was possible she had regressed to when she was simply ‘Claire’. She hoped not of course, but she couldn’t deny it would make things simpler. After all a Lightning with the body she had at the age of fifteen but the mind her older self didn’t bode well for anyone.
"Yeah I suppose it is, maybe you tep won't be at each others throats like this hmmm?"
She teased her sister with a playful wink. If nothing else that was a positive. At least Claire would get along with herself for once. She was defenlty going to laugh if they both started talking about how mean or boring her older self was.
The younger farron sighed. Lumina was right, on all accounts. Even more so if Light's mentality had regressed. But that presented a problem.for her. There was no way she could abandon ether of them. But she knew Lumina woudn't be deterred from her adventure, nor would Light just accept going along.
"Sis.... what do I do? In her condition I can't just leave her but... I can't leave you ether... Abandoning ether of you isn't an option... I don't know what to do"
One could se in her features how lost she was. Something always occurred to dash things when they were going well. Coudn't they all just enjoy a fun little trip without some disaster occuring?
Then Lumina got to the part that struck a cord on Serah, an ironic cord. The idea of some burly brute taking advantage of her youngified sister was unacceptable! She absolutly would NOT let that happen! The pinkette became noticibly panicked in this, moving back and forth as she kept talking to herself about how she sould 'clock that brute'
"Nuh uh, no way! no ones taking advantage of MY sister like that! especially not in the vulnerable state shes in now! I'll clobber any guy who tries! Give them a taste of my firaga yeah!"
No Serah was not seeing the irony in her words or actions, as consumed as she was in the thought of protecting her sister from.the 'big brutish men'. If Snow was here he'd probaly be getting flashbacks of a certain older sister!
When she did finally calm herself she eyed the key Lumina had given her, listenjngly closely as she talked to her. That would make things a bit easier. Though it still left her uneasy in general. Still it meant Loght would have a place to stay if nothing else-that was something she preferred. She pulled Lumina into a hug in response and smiled. Despite how she acted to others she really was such a caring big.... little...
Sister, she was a caring sister.
"Thank you so much sis, It means a lot"
She didn't miss Lumina's smirk however, or what she was getting st with it. Poking her now shorter sister playfully Serah gave her own playful smile.
"Laugh all you want sis, remeber you have your own Snow now to!"

Truthfully, Lumina yearned for and thrived in this type of chaos. An absence of Lightning, forcing the Saviour back to her roots... No, their collective roots, wasn't a disaster. It wasn't something to be solved, selfish as it was for Lumina to consider. Quite frankly? THIS WAS PERFECT! Were Serah not here, freaking out as it were; Lumina might actually say a brief prayer to the Gods! Working with Lightning, in all her obliviousness, was like pulling teeth!
...Working with Claire then? Mmm, this was like setting sisterhood to easy mode! She'd have to hide her excitement and relief. It's not as if she didn't have some concerns. That was why she provided the keys for one. It also meant there would be no Lightning to get in between her... What ever her friendship with Zell was. As she contemplated this, hearing Serah's concern made her naturally sympathetic. This then turned into a frightening revelation for Lumina. That... overprotective nature, it was deja vu on the worse scale. Claire had been granted a divine intervention, a re-do that life never gave. Yet, Serah was still raised by Lightning and in turn... her other half, her origin... was in great danger!!! Lumina was worried now, though it wasn't for the same reasons as Serah.
Being pulled into a hug, she returned it, giving her a tight but reassuring embrace. Still, she wanted to resist laughing at some of this, only... Serah brought up the obvious elephant in the room. So succintly too, that it dealt 9999 damage to Lumina's psyche. She stiffened, then froze up, then immediately became frantic!
"S-snow!? No, never." Lumina began, shaking in disbelief. "Snow is no adorable puppy, completely helpless without his o-owner. He's a lumbering, big, irresponsible oaf. With not a care in the world for the future, who has no idea what he's doing!" Lumina declared, quite defensively for one. Yet ironically, it was also oh, so, Lightning. It was like the older Farron never left and in absentia, the big; little sis, eased into her shoes.
"Besides, I'm not going out on a date or anything. Z-zell is just my bodyguard. Who knows what would happen if I let him out of my sight for awhile. It's not like you'd be abandoning me to go and help Claire for a bit. I'm safe and the breadwinner right now." she stated, feeling quite confident in how things were. "Well, I guess it's more like... you have two troublemakers on your hands." she'd confess in a mumble. "Ah~ but I'm the good one since I'm not unhinged. Mmm, you really should get to her soon. Do you really think Mog is enough for Claire? Let me tell you, the relationship between those two, even if Claire doesn't have her memories... She'll make Mog her complicit ally~ Then, well... as opposed to worrying about Claire finding a Snow. Don't you think it's much more likely, that she'll latch onto the mysterious, cool type that can do everything? Impressionable teens like Claire want stability and reassurance. Someone strong as well as reliable and there's nothing stopping her form pursuing them and being her real self now." of course she'd stoke the fire a bit, this was too much fun to see.

Lighting was her sister; Lumina was her sister. It was only natural that she would want to help them both. That she would want to alleviate anything that afflicted them. They were at their best when they relied on each other after all. So why wouldn’t she worry when her sister was reset? All the progress she had made was undone. She was basically reset to ground zero! They were lucky that he was not thrown slap in the middle of her conflicted stage of life. But still Light had finally come to terms with herself, she was at peace. In the face of that why wouldn’t she be worried? Besides….
She did not want to be the big sister!
But she would if she had to be. She would keep Light and even Lumina safe if that were what she needed to do. For so long it was all they had done for her. In her heart she knew it was exactly what they both deserved. They deserved the freedom to spread their wings and enjoy their lives now. Yes… it was her turn to play the role of the guardian. It was her turn to keep them safe. So that was exactly what she would do.
”It’s my turn, I’m strong enough now… I will just keep you both safe! I know Snow would agree…. When he finds me, we’ll do it together!”
Confidence glittered in Serah’s eyes as she held her hand over her chest. It was her turn to protect her sisters. This time she would be the one to keep them safe and happy. They would all stand by each other… support each other just like their mom wanted. That was all she wanted, to be happy with her family. So, she would make sure that was how it was. This time she would be the guardian, alongside her fiancé.
When a Farron set her mind to something? They got it done!
As Lumina began her rebuke of her suggestion regarding Zel and Snow’s similarities Serah made a very Lumina like move, pacing around her, answering each point she made with one her own.

With not a care in the world for the future, who has no idea what he's doing!
”Loves me more than anything….always looking out for me, no matter what it costs him”
As she finished her counters she turned on her heel towards Lumina and, with the biggest grin on her face as she finished up her statement.
”If you ask me, just like Zell, It also sounds like much more than a bodyguard you know”
Giggling at the teasing she was throwing Lumina’s she decided to land one more fatal blow her way, a critical hit so to speak.
”Right? What if he got out of your sight sis, what if another girl got him in theres? Oh my…’
Giggling once more at Lumina’s confession she shook her head. Despite the situation saw things quite differently after all.
”I have two wonderful sisters is what I have, who I wouldn’t trade for anything”
Though of course Lumina was bound to get her revenge for all the teasing Serah was giving her, and it was in the most efficient way to. She opened her mouth to try and deny the possibility of Mog going along with whatever chaos her other sister got into but would quickly close her mouth. She had been on an adventure through time with Mog at her side. She knew him quite well as a result. Would Mog go along with that? Was Lumina right?
…yes, he absolutely would.
The result was a now sweating and nervous Serah on the other end of her words. Mysterious cool type that could do anything? That was even worse! What if he was a biker? Or a thief? What if he was hitman for a gang? No no no, no! She had to get back now and sort all of this out, oh she would make definitely a pincushion out of that moogle if he let Claire get into trouble!
”I’ll be back, don’t you leave me ok? I just… have to make sure she’s all settled in that’s all. And safe. And protected… I wonder if I can still command a monster to do it for me… oh but getting the right crystal to manifest can be such a pain… look I will be back ok? Love you sis! Enjoy Zell!”
Yep, she put in one last revenge poke before she turned on her heel and began making her way out on the trip home to Mog and her other sister, waving to her sister until she was out of sight. She may have tried to play it cool, but Lumina had absolutely succeeded in getting to her with her teasing. She was not simply taking a gentle walk from the area, she was running-as fast as those long legs could go! Still she took time to make sure Lumina saw her waving bye, She had no intention of neglecting ether of them after all.
