The name of this world is of little importance as far as Garland was concerned. By the time he was done with it, this part of the timeline would either be going up in blazes, stamped out beneath his iron boots. Either its destruction would render its name meaningless... or its accession would. Should the Knight's ambition reach its fuition once more, this section of time would become the seat of his godly might and would receive an appropriate name as such. What the people called it, both native and drawn here, it mattered not. Whether through flames... or being buried beneath the rising NEW kingdom, Garland would see to it that nobody remembered the name "Zephon." The woman would remark how this place was beyond their own.... And the knight would only laugh at that. His expression of humor, sharp, cruel, short like an ancient dagger being thrust into the ears of those that would hear it... fore Garland knew just how... finite such a view of time and space could be. With just a few years of planning and the compliance of the worlds mightiest demons, Garland had opened a rift in time that had sent him to periods in Cornelia's history he hadn't imagined before then! If he could access such a point in time... There was no reason that he couldn't rend the veil of "what is possible" once more to achieve his goals. All it would take is relearning the land and gathering his forces... one piece at a time.
"You do not comprehend how... brittle the word 'beyond' is." The knight remarked, his sinister yellow eyes flashing across Dorea. "All it takes to transcend what one believes is possible is ascend beyond what most perceive as strength. This place is no more beyond my timeline as it is from yours, woman. If you are so inclined, all you must do is gain the power necessary to worm your way out of the grasp of the divine... and do what is necessary to achieve this feat." A gross generalization... But Garland spoke the truth as he knew it to be. Having, if for a moment, transcended time itself, the knight had an expanded view of what was possible and what was within his reach. He only needed the materials... the time...
...And a perfect location to begin construction of a new Shrine of Chaos! If this place had not the fiends he required... he would have to attain his power from other sources... and he would need a suitable medium to channel this power into himself. Knowing where the cities were would be an important step in his efforts to clear out the competition when it came to his rise... Spying on the comings and goings of individuals... picking out the ones he had to eliminate first. When he had not the minions to rend the flesh of his foes, Rebellion would do the job well enough.
"Then speak of them." Garland responded, his voice twinged with annoyance. "Names. Locations. Perhaps even the names of their rulers. This knowledge will serve me as I grow accustomed to this... place."
