The two of them didn't exactly know each other and if more illusions happened, then there was a bigger chance of falling in a trap. Again... Considering that situation, what about leaving, heading to town and then later meeting the man again. Cater had no way of knowing how to deal with things if that creature suddenly showed up. All the worrying thoughts, felt a little like déjà vu with how there had been mistakes back home too. She didn't like to remind herself of that time.[break][break]
Her feet halted when Caius accepted the help, seemingly to actually smile a bit for once too. Considering they had been just planting their guns in each others' faces, this was a welcome change. Looking back at him, she listened and nodded on how they should stick together. She considered her eyes one of the best amongst the Cadets, so she was sure she was able to keep track of him. Avoiding any trouble with illusions in that regard... hopefully. Unless the entire area became an illusion.[break][break]
"Then I'll make myself useful," Cater replied with a big smile, she enjoyed a good hunt. Hopping after him, she got the man's name finally too. Caius. She was sure to remember it as she hurried after him. She tried to utilize her own snipe mode to see if she could see the fleeing monster ahead. "So... you've dealt with these before? Any ideas on weaknesses or how to handle one best?" she asked curiously. Hoping to maybe know what abilities would be useful, she could try and snipe it from the back to try and slow it if it returned in sight. If anything, she could just try and freeze the area around it to see if it would slip and fall.[break][break]
