This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.
Yo, Zell/Vossler/Asael here! Black Suit discovered this little place a while back and suggested that I give it a shot. So, here I am! I am a self-employed Tarot reader from the Midwest and have been doing this for about three years, give or take — admittedly, it was the Persona series that sparked my interest in the cards! I enjoy proofreading things unironically, have eclectic tastes in music, and there are moments when I occasionally pick up a pencil and paper to draw some stuff. Whenever people ask me 'how long have you been role playing,' I have to pause and try to figure that out, because I don't remember the exact year I began anymore. Back in the good ol' days of Yahoo!Clubs, I think, is where I officially started writing with others. From there it was Yahoo!Groups, then ezBoard, then Invisionfree-- needless to say, a very long time I've been doing this sort of thing. It's comfortable, and while I do a vast majority of my RPing within FFXIV and Discord, it is nice to be part of a board again! This is my long winded way to say... hi, I'm Luna, nice to meetcha c:
I'm a stay-at-home girlfriend due to health issues, and while my Discord is always loaded, I rarely actually check servers much because I'm distracted with other things, so if you ever need my attention, directly message me or ping me. I don't mind pings, promise! If neither of these work, yell at Waga and he'll get me lickity split. Character-wise, Lycoris is one of my role play characters from within FFXIV, and I adjusted her a bit to fit in better with her husband's backstory on this forum. I play on Mateus in the Crystal Data Center, if anyone wants to add me to their friends list. I don't think a lot of people here play the game, but I always love hanging out and raiding and whatnot!
Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons-type games are my favorite thing ever, up with the Atelier series. I play a wide variety of things, though multiplayer is always preferred to single. Not that I don't have many single play entries I obsess over from time to time! In my younger years, I dove headfirst into a lot of anime and manga, and still love the aesthetic. Nowadays I don't watch or read much of it, due to having a greater backlog of other things to do or see. Kdramas are my jam and there are so many years of good ones to catch up on! Thankfully most are only 16 ~ 20 episodes, so it's not like diving into a 5+ season series or anything. (This is why I dropped most of the superhero shows, blergh.)

I'm not too good at these things because I'm not sure what people even want to know about me. I have been RPing for a very, very long time and got a weird start at it. I was already obsessed with the internet and printing out screenshots and artwork of my favorite animes, and I discovered pixel art. I envied those who could create those cute little dolls, because I could not and lacked any sort of program that could do so. My friend in 7th grade told me about this girl on a forum (I had no idea what a forum even was) who took custom requests... and so I made an account and tried getting a little dolly made. It was Miaka from Fushigi Yugi, haha... And little did I realize, that forum was an RP forum for an anime called .hack, which I also super loved. Ironically, my 13-year-old self had no idea about the stigmas of playing "canon" characters (or maybe there was none? Everyone was just a smol baby so I doubt they cared either) so I played Miaka on the .hack forum LOL. And it all started from there. I got really into it since I had always wanted to be a writer anyway, and I still RP to this day. I've owned RP's, I've been a part of a bunch of different genres of them. Though my favorite genres to RP will always be any sort of MMO RP or Legend of Zelda RP! c:
What else, what else... When I get into something, I tend to only focus on that... First it was RP, then it was MMO's and most recently, it is Animal Crossing: New Horizons. So if I go inactive for days on end, it's because I can't... stop... LOL. I also play FFXIV and was super into that as well, but since the new expansion hype has kind of died down, I do more than play that all day now... Haha. Even Animal Crossing is getting a little stale since I can't figure out what else to do to my island... RIP.
So, rambling aside, just hit me up if you ever want to RP or chat. Sometimes it is hard for me to make the first move or "approach" others but I promise I'll do my best to chit-chat!

My RPing journey started many, many years ago when I was around eleven. I was obsessed with the Warriors series by Erin Hunter and through that fandom, I learned about Proboards. Thus began a terrible string of the worst sites ever! Clashing colors! No icons! Purple prose everywhere! Fin and Erin were on a few (sorry to out you guys xD). We were terrible together. It was great fun. Over the years, I slowly grew away from forum roleplaying mostly because I couldn't find a good site that fit my preferences. But then Fin told me about Adventu. I was initially wary, not sure how I'd enjoy it after so long not roleplaying, but I am so glad I gave it a chance!
While I love the worlds and stories of Final Fantasy, I have a very bad problem with actually finishing the games. To date, I've only completed FFX and FFVII. I've played varying amounts of four, six, eight, nine, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and fifteen. I have a problem and I definitely need to actually complete them. As far as other interests, I've had a decade+ on-and-off-again relationship with World of Warcraft. I think my total playtime across too many characters is a little over a real-world year at this point, ridiculous as that may be. I love writing and world-building and often create maps and world just for the fun of it as a hobby. I'm currently about 50% into a fantasy novel that I'll probably never try to publish, but I'm having a great time with it regardless.

Hi! I'm Doink and I have no idea what I'm doing anymore. But for real, I am jumping all over the place and doing things out of order because sometimes I'm an idiot. I'm a lifelong gamer and I enjoy RPing so here I am! Hi! RPGs and Action-Adventure games are my favorite genres but I love a good Collectaton or Puzzle game, Metroidvanias, and I can't seem to stay away from weird P&C Adventures or more interesting looking VNs. That said I don't not play a game based on genre unless it is primarily Stealth or Sports, with a vague disinterest in Shootemup or 4X. I've played things I have enjoyed in the genres but with Stealth it was Mark of the Ninja while the only 4X-type game I really enjoyed was Polytopia (original Android version) and Repirisal Universe. ... If you want any recs for indie or freeware titles just hit me up. I can steer you to something good, interesting, or just plain bizarre.
I've RPed an excessive amount over the years but predominantly fandom-themed stuff. Video games especially. Nintendo titles (mostly Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon), Sonic, Mega Man, Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, Digimon, Undertale... There's a lot more, naturally, but those are the big ones. I love reading stories and rping is a wonderful way to explore new tales with other people. Seeing as how I grew up reading mythology and classical literature, I sometimes dredge up very odd references and allusions. It honestly took me a while to drop esoteric words.
As I said I love to read but my favorite books growing up were Alice in Wonderland and the Lord of the Rings. I stumbled into Discworld and M.Y.T.H. Inc, although thanks to dad I have a lot of general sci-fi knowledge and a bizarre hatred for time travel tropes. Also thanks to him, I have a completely stupid and esoteric phobia of personality erasure and retroactive cessation of existence so all my nope regarding some of the more common aspects of Cosmic Horror. I know the universe is cruel and uncaring but that goes a step too far from uncaring to actively malevolent.

GO-TO SNACK FOOD: Chocolate. I know exactly where to get high quality chocolate for reasonable prices (doubly so when you look at the price by weight for common brands, it actually can be cheaper to get the pricier bars) so I always have something good close at hand be it chocolate, hard candy, gummies, or something else. Prepare to see long descriptions if I have a chance to write about food IC.

Hey! I'm Megan. I'm a mother to one and step-mother to six. It's crazy here! I currently have 5 cats and 4 hamsters. I bartend at a small bar in Montana, so I'm up at crazy hours. I really haven't played many of the FF games outside of 7, but that game and the Legend of Zelda games have to by my favorites! Hello hello, I go by Ren, and I've been doing the forum writing game since I was seventeen. I'm a very laid back individual with some obnoxious streaks, and I'm very passionate about writing. When I'm not doing RP I'm either unwinding with movies, games, or working on a collection of novels that I've been working on for the past four years. I've always loved Final Fantasy and really any story driven game, but I play a wide variety of stuff. I'm a big fan of tactical games like Age of Empires and Stellaris too. I enjoy most sports, moreso baseball and hockey than others but i'll talk stats and history for hours at times. I'm also very fond of boating as well as any recreation on lakes or rivers, as well as deep sea fishing whenever the opportunity presents itself. I don't work a regular job like most folks, I'm actually on disability, so most of my time is usually spent online or around the house.
