Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.

Had she fallen asleep? Life was dark, for a time. Until it wasn't, and the sunlight burned through her eyelids, making her brows knit together. The warm sand beneath her, the gentle ebb and flow of the tide. She didn't remember going toward the beach. Actually... what did she remember? What was she doing, before she was being shaken awake? She felt so tired, and sluggish...
Lulu idly swiped at the hand that pressed against her shoulder, sitting up as she did so. That same hand then pressed upon her temple, before she slowly blinked her eyes open, adjusting to the bright sunlight that beat down on her dark attire. Immediately, she did sense something amiss. She normally felt comfortable in her garments upon the beaches of Besaid, but here, the heat became almost immediately sweltering. Beads of sweat formed beneath her long bangs, her eyes dipped closed as she began to feel light-headed.
It wasn't long before her back hit the sand again, the heat and fatigue that plagued her sending her into unconsciousness again.

She lost her fiancé, she lost someone she vowed to keep safe, and she would do anything to let that not happen again. Lulu has lived with extreme guilt and grief for most of her life, so she remains rather stoic and cold, only leaving room in her heart for those who she deems worthy enough. Do you dare to try and sneak your way in?

II. PERSONA
At first glance, Lulu might seem cold and distant and... that honestly isn't an inaccurate depiction of her. She is cold and stoic to most strangers, but it comes from a place of not wanting to get hurt any more. Lulu cares deeply for those she deems are worth her affections, she just has a heavy filter attached to her. Lulu has faced a lot of devastation in her life, and so she keeps most at arm's length.
As a friend, however, none are more loyal than Lulu. Her friendship is not easily won, so if she does consider you a friend or comrade, consider yourself lucky? She is a powerful ally, if you're ever in trouble or need a bit of advice. Her advice might seem harsh, but she is always thinking about situations from a logical standpoint, and rarely lets her emotions sway her decisions.
Beneath it all, Lulu is warm and motherly. Though she isn't one to immediately offer a hug or physical touch, she still has a tender way she goes about showing and offering comfort. She is there to be a lap to rest on when you need to cry. She is there to stroke your hair when you need help falling asleep if you're ill. Lulu isn't a stranger to being affectionate, and can even be a bit flirtatious, but they're empty claims and her heart is truly reserved for the one person that truly drives her up the wall...
III. HISTORY
A happy childhood was very hard to come by in Spira. With the looming threat of Sin at their doorsteps, the people of Spira still fought on and would try to see another day. But despite how some persevere, some are dealt an unforgiving hand.
Lulu was orphaned at a young age, and grew up alongside fellow orphans Wakka and his brother, Chappu in Besaid. A few years later, Yuna moved to Besaid and quickly became like a younger sister to Lulu. Lulu was protective of her, especially around the rowdy brothers. Some time later, Chappu left to fight Sin, but the operation failed and he died in Djose. A part of Lulu felt cracked, and empty, but she still lived for Yuna's sake.
Maybe it was out of rage over Sin, or a way to honor Chappu's death, but Lulu decided to become a Guardian to a lady summoner named Ginnem. During an attempt to acquire Yojimbo, Lady Ginnem could not be saved and Lulu held immense guilt over her death. Adding another soul to her path at redemption, Lulu then joined another summoner, Father Zuke, alongside Wakka. He quit his pilgrimage early, and Lulu and Wakka returned to Besaid, only to find that Yuna now intended to also journey to become a summoner.
Lulu would then join yet another young summoner at her attempt to rid the world of Sin. Though she wanted to protest, as Yuna was the person she loved most in Spira, Lulu knew the girl was resilient and would not back down. Lulu watched over her, and kept her safe, though knew when to let Yuna go through her own experiences. It pained her incredibly to know that the outcome of their journey would be Yuna's sacrifice, but that's just the way it was.
Through many adventures, sorrows and pains, laughter and memories, Yuna and company defeated Sin and Spira finally saw an age of peace.
It might have been a selfish notion to think Lulu could finally smile again, free of her guilt and worries. But how wrong she was.
She was able to celebrate the wins, but not for long, before her eyes opened after a flash, and she awoke on foreign shores.
