[attr="class","skullbody"]As Mu bows to his two companions, Enma appears on the ninja's shoulder. "Hey what's Kraken?" Yes, the little floating oni did do that on purpose. The shinobi barely kept himself from sighing. But Seven Hells, Enma would not shut up about the damned Kraken ever since they had slain it. [break][break] Sabin would mention a Daisy fellow not being too fond of crowds. Mu could agree with that sentiment, but what shinobi did like crowds? At least they could prove beneficial for drawing attention away from yourself or for blending in, but this was not a situation like that. Though he was sure Enma was enjoying the extra attention, the Anima did like bragging about their achievements even though he really didn't get much recognition for them on account for being a weapon. [break][break] Soon enough the guests of honor would meet the host of prestige, non other than King Hremit himself. It was odd, as it was not all that long ago that Mu and Caius first met the King after they were deemed the Champions of the Hunt. Now they were here to be celebrated as the Slayers of the Kraken. [break][break] The king would ask Caius to pet his dragon, much to the dismay of his retainers. As expected, nothing bad resulted from this. How could it? That dragon was how they got to shore, surely he wouldn't mind a few touches. "He's a sweetheart! How in blazes did you lot come to meet such a rare creature?" That was a good question. How did Caius come into contact with Vordun? The shinobi never recalled him ever telling the story. The ninja intrigued, looked expectantly.

[attr="class","skullbody"]Mu waited for "Enma's" date to show up. He really wished Enma could've went on his own, but the unfortunate truth was that he couldn't. Enma was bound to the shinobi's kodachi and he wasn't going to be stupid enough to leave it somewhere. [break][break] Sooner or later she would appear. Brown-colored hair and a slender, well-toned body. She was a blue dress with red accent. She looked familiar. "I know you. You were with that shinobi from before," she says. Seven hells. They have met before. This was the woman that asked about the Kraken situation. Mu wasn't expected to be paired up with someone that he had met before. He was already beginning to feel slightly guilty about this, but that did not change the fact that he committed to this. He told Enma that this was his date and he meant it. Besides even if he wanted to (officially) attend this date he couldn't as he was shrouded in his armor, like he always is. The woman in question would sit on the log and wait. Was she waiting for him? No. He was certain that she was. The shinobi was starting to feel bad about this, but he would nevertheless let Enma handle this in a way only a floating oni like him could. [break][break] "Uh y-yes!" Enma responds. "Mu couldn't come to the date. So he sent me in his stead." It was a lie. If Mu couldn't come to this date then neither could Enma, but she didn't know that and it was going to stay that way.

[attr="class","skullbody"]"I see. Was the damage extensive?" the woman asks. [break][break] The shinobi would nod slightly. "There were some casualties and much the city became a wreck of debris due to the flood. However, it is nothing that the city won't recover from." If there was anything the city of Torensten was known for, it was the people's ability to rebuild. And as harsh as it sounds, Mu was certain that they have came back from worse. He at least was glad that they were able to put an end to it before it got any worse. "Alongside the threat of the Kraken, it stormed for an entire fortnight. The storm was what caused this damage. The western shores receiving the most of the damage. King Hremit would request the aide of adventurers. And so two ships of adventurers were sent. One to put an end to the storm and the other to put an end to the Kraken." Apparently two more ships were sent, but for one reason or another they never made it to their destinations.

The Onishi Clan
[PTabbedContent]
[PTab=Origins]
[attr="class","lightbluetext"]The Onishi Clan is a Doman shinobi clan not in terms of blood ties, but rather through common interests. Despite this their member cast aside their surnames in favor of the Onishi name, which is inspired by the Far East's Onishishu artisans but not to be confused for them. The clan formed shortly after the Garlean Empire took over Doma. The clan's founder Hansuru was once a conscript of the empire. By one means or another they got their hands on a shinobi recruit's Soul Crystal which resonated with them. Once the crystal taught them nigh all that it could, they deserted the empire to a secluded village which would become to birthplace of the Onishi Clan. But being a clan in name only, the soul crystals they have primarily come from Garlean-aligned shinobi they have defeated. Due to this, is rightfully selective about who they invite to their clan, perhaps even more so than true shinobi clans. Only select jonin are granted the privilege of recruitment. This makes their numbers relatively small and their name obscure even amongst other shinobi.
[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Members of the Onishi Clan typically donned their clan emblem on their armor. The emblem in question reads out Onishi with the writing system used by the Far East nations: Hingashi and Doma. The logo is embellished with clouds to show that the sky’s the horizons. This logo was forgone in favor of the character of Doma during the Doman Liberation Front.
[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Upon joining the Onishi Clan the member swears their lifelong allegiance to the clan and to Doma. As such, all members forsake their surname (if said individual possesses one) for the surname: Onishi. Furthermore, there are specific individuals in the clan who operate using an entirely different name. Though unofficial these individuals are respected by the rest of the clan and are dubbed as “Special Jonin”. These shinobi in question are Itsuki Onishi (Satori), his blood related sister Kaede Onishi (Tsutome), Keimusho Onishi (Mu), Yukio Onishi (Daigo), and Terunori Onishi (Karu). In actuality, these names are simply more or less nicknames that they were given by each other and these shinobi are the most tightly knit. However, all these names do represent some sort of concept. Tsutome (Duty), Satori (Comprehension), Mu (Nothingness), Daigo (Enlightenment), and Karu (Hunt).
[attr="class","lightbluetext"]Majority of shinobi in the Far East of Hydaelyn battle using a pair of daggers. The Onishi Clan is largely, no exception to the rule. However, the Special Jonin are also special in this regard. Each of these shinobi utilize different albeit similarly sized weapons. Kaede utilizes a pair of sais and her brother Itsuki uses a kama. Yukio uses a kabutowari and is the most adept at damaging armor. Keimusho, originally being training in the samurai discipline opted the use a kodachi. Terunori the Lupin of the group does not use a weapon at all, rather he fights unarmed.

By the kami, why did Mu let himself be dragged into this by Enma? When Caius told him about signing up for a blind date, he was prepared to wish the mercenary good look and be done with it. However, Enma endlessly begged the shinobi to take part in the event until the ninja gave in. Though in doing so the ninja specifically told oni-like being that this was his date. The shinobi departed for the date fully armored. Enma perplexed asked the shinobi, "Wait you're going to the date fully armored?" "Yes. I said that this was your date didn't I?" Mu responded. Besides he didn't have any fancy clothes to begin with. "Wait you were serious about that?! Then why did you sign up as yourself?" the Anima asked. "Because the sign up sheet asked for likes and dislikes and being a weapon doesn't really insinuate much."
The shinobi would make his way to Litores Bay a decent while earlier than the date intended. Once the shinobi got to the destination placed down the card that indicated who your date was. "Float next to this," said the shinobi. "Um... okay," responded Enma who proceeded to do so. My would proceed to use Hide, making himself invisible. Did Mu know how this was going to turn out? No. But this was Enma's problem now. Let the floating oni's date begin.

"Excuse me," said an approaching voice. Approaching the shinobi was a woman with brown hair. Her clothes were rugged and a katana was on her hip. She was clearly a warrior or some sorts. "I overheard you speak about a giant squid. Has something happened in Torensten?" she said.
"You haven't heard?" the shinobi responded. Mu was quite perplexed at the question. Perhaps she was another new arrival to Zephon. However, that was highly doubtful as she asked about Torensten in particular, meaning that she's at least been here long enough to know what Torensten is.
Clearly she was not in Torensten during that time, but surely word of a two week long storm would have reached to entire continent? There was no telling how this information could've eluded someone, but he wasn't going to question. Besides talking about it with this individual might get it out of Enma's system. He was already tired of Enma boasting about the feat even though it just happened not to long ago. "Well it wasn't a giant squid as my friend here puts it... It was actually a Kraken to put it plainly. As of what happened to Torensten... It and the entire western shores had to endure a storm for a fortnight."

The shinobi had been given a few days of preparation for the ceremony in honor of the slaying of the Kraken. Due to the poor, albeit fairly common condition that the city of Torensten has found itself in, Keimusho only thought it right to check on Aldrich. Luckily the old man's apartment was still in good condition, it would be a pain to find him another place to stay. Plus he needed the place to rejuvenate. Fighting the Kraken was tiresome enough, but he also had to charge the crystal in tandem. There was no way to sugarcoat it, he was spent. For the next few hours he decided to linger there he told the old man about the fight with the Kraken and more importantly he asked about the old man about his memories. Unfortunately, the answer was ever the same. There seemed to be no progress to be made. As much as he didn't want to there seemed to be a trip to The Headstone Forest was in order. The ghost that was there seemed to be able to restore Adrich's memories. At least it did restored the old man's memory of his name at least. There seemed to be no other leads that the shinobi could go on. Perhaps he'd take the old man back there after the ceremony.
The shinobi would take his leave after a few hours. As the ninja walked down the street Enma would continuously shout about how they felled the Kraken. "Yeah we showed the giant squid who's boss! Turned the thing into calamari we did!" the Anima shouted still feeling quite ecstatic about the whole ordeal. "Yeah, yeah..." the shinobi responded trying to ignore his companion. He was starting to regret mentioning the battle with the Kraken, despite that it just happened because it would take a minute for Enma to shut up about it. In the meantime the shinobi would just take a walk as he had nothing in particular to do.

While relieved that they managed to take down the Kraken, Keimusho couldn't help but notice the esteem that he had garnered as a result of this and the Festival of the Hunt. Normally attention and fame can be seen a detriment to a shinobi. After all it isn't easy to be sneaky if the public knows your name. However, it doesn't really bother him as much as it did initially. Renown shinobi did always have some sort of legend garnered. There were stories of shinobi in Doma such as Sasuke who pioneered the shinobi arts in Doma and even of more modern shinobi such as Yugiri Mistwalker. And that was not even mentioning that blending in was impossible for him here. His style of armor not stands out, but being an Au Ra makes him stand out even more. Since coming to Zephon he hasn't encountered a single other Au Ra, Xaela or Raen. It just makes it clear to him that his race probably doesn't exist here. Not that it matters to him. It's not like he wears the fact that his in an Au Ra on his sleeve, just that he is Doman.
Another reason why he wasn't so bothered was because he still managed to help people, which to him was the most important result. If his prowess as a warrior was what was going to keep people safe then so be it. That did not mean that he was going to stop using his alias, however. In truth, the name Mu has more sentimental value to him than value of serving as a pseudonym. It was a code name given to him by his clan. The names were given to the names of certain jonin who exhibited characteristics or certain concepts. It wasn't even formal as it were the jonin themselves that gave such names. There were a few such as Jingi for honor or Rekai for understanding. Keimusho's name Mu was for nothingness. He never truly understood why exactly he was given that name. Was it because when he joined the clan he had nothing? Or was it because he was more of the sort to show no emotion in comparison to the others. The Au Ra really wished he asked the question before since its certain that he won't get the chance to do so anytime soon.
Because of their success in taking down the Kraken, King Hremit would ask the Dragonblades and Mu to attend yet another ceremony. Though this was only the second ceremony that he would attend, he was starting to wonder if these ceremonies were a regular occurrence. While Keimusho wasn't the most ecstatic about the ceremony he was certainly not going to decline without good reason. Doing so would probably be some sort of insult to the king and he'd rather have fame than infamy. Enma on the other hand was way more receptive to the idea. He in someway saw it as an opportunity to gain recognition as a useful weapon. It does make sense in some ways. After all he literally is a weapon or at least fused to one and if the warrior is great then surely his weapon must be as well. Also it wasn't like Enma would need to to conceal himself when taking into account that a dragon would be honored in this ceremony as well. A dragon is (probably) more terrifying to most people than a small demon-like being that was no more than a foot long.
As he walked through the Legend Square he noticed how the people mostly had their eyes on Vordun and Caius, which meant that less eyes were on him and Enma. He preferred it this way, he didn't mind the fame but he wasn't a fan of more direct attention on him.

Well there seemed to be no need to contemplate the location of the piano. At least its general location. It most certainly was on the first floor. "We were to find research notes, but the evidence thus far suggests that the our dear Count was conducting questionable experiments. I know not if the diaries were what the butler intended on us recovering, so I suggest finding the source of the scream," said Vossler. The ninja simply nods in agreement. They find the source of the scream and they'll find the piano swiftly enough. With that he started to head downstairs. "To the piano!" Enma screams out as they make their way downstairs. Yes to the piano indeed, with time at least. The first thing that the shinobi noticed was a familiar face, well a familiar armor set. It was Caius who seemingly had his focus on something.

With their combined efforts they finally managed to defeat the Kraken. However, that was not the end of their troubles. The storm was still raging with all of its fury and the ship was going under due the damage it sustained. They only had mere seconds to act. Caius would direct Mu and Sabin direction to get those that remained out safely. “Mu, cut down the ropes holding the lifeboats, and make sure they don’t float away!" The shinobi ,albeit still fatigued, acted swiftly as he knew that taking to much time would result in their downfall. Luckily cutting down though lifeboats would not be a difficult task. The Au Ra weaved the handsign Ten and summons a Fuma Shuriken. He proceeds to toss the shuriken which cuts down the ropes holding up the lifeboats. "The lifeboats have been freed, make haste!" the shinobi proceeded to shout. The shinobi went over to the retrieve the crystal keeping it close as he waited for everyone's part to be done. All that he could do now is ensure that the boats did not float away as everyone else did their part.
