In the finality of the encroaching darkness, one lone bolt of lighting cracked the earth as a thunderous bellow clawed through the heavens themselves. Found amidst the cacophony of nature’s symphony, standing in the apex of the lightning strike was a man who raged into the great black yonder of Eos. But standing alongside him was his quarry, a daemon of renowned tenacity known as the Ayakashi. He remembers the final clash as if it was etched into his bones— the crackle of his sword as both steel and lightning was swung down on the fiend, his eyes flaring with an intense veracity as he roared into that bittersweet morrow.[break][break]
Rugiens expected this moment to be it, as he saw his prey dissipate in the blinding light, with him surely to follow. In a calm resignation, the Glaive closed his eyes and fell back, as if to embrace his fate with a gentle smile. ‘At least those guys managed to get out alive… I’m alright with that.’ A parting thought for a man soon to depart, the reality slammed his back once he fell onto the ground, jolting his cerulean pools wide open. In the stead of black out skies was a light he had long since forgotten, squinting his eyes as they wrenched shut at the harsh and unsuspecting change. But when his back hit the earth beneath him, what was meant to be dirt and decadence was soft and thriving.[break][break]
