Or maybe he meant like a stage that was set and he was but an actor playing out a scene. It struck her curiously, but she supposed she would not be able to see what he spoke of unless she visited his world. It did make good for decent small banter.

She lowered her eyes at his question on whether she met anyone from her world yet. “For better or worse, yes, I have.” It was odd talking about herself to strangers. From where she was from, most of her life was public with a few rare cases of privacy. “They have their own paths to tread, but I have let them know I am here for support if they require my presence.”

It seemed the others were already heading back to the cart with the remains of their drinks. Hilda caught him winking at the server and she turned away. Was he another skirt-chaser then? Well she had no skirts for him to chase, she turned back to return to the cart. “Is Gongaga your hometown?” She asked, returning to the cart with the rest of her cider. It seemed everyone had gulped their down as she took tiny sips. She took a seat in the same spot on the cart. She took another sip. The driver secured the cart once everyone was back on.
