Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Click the image for a super easy new skin guide for a visual tour!
Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.

[attr="class","ayab-text"] The first thing she tastes is dirt and the scent of acrid smoke in the air. Ryne finds herself to awakening in a coughing fit as the corrupt air of her surroundings chokes her lungs. What had happened to her? She had been preparing a basket of treats for herself and Gaia before everything had gone black and now she was here. Where was here exactly? Slowly, the young girl pushed herself from the ground into a sitting position as she attempted to regain her bearings. And then she noticed her hair. No longer could she see the soft strands of strawberry blonde. No, she saw the strinkingly golden strands of gold. The hair color she had once held when Minfilia still resided within her soul as an anchor and a sleeping weight beneath her breast. [break][break]
It nearly had her sputtering in shock as she grasped the silken strands through her fingers. What did this mean? Why did she have blonde hair once more? Ryne began to look around herself wildly in a vain attempt to recognize her surroundings, but she could find nothing familiar in front of her. No, the only thing she could see was the outline of a city before her. A steel masterpiece that she had never borne witness to. Even Eulmore failed to hold the sheer intimidation this city held. She felt herself trembling in trepidation as she wondered what this could possibly mean. She had seen almost the entirety of Norvrandt and it did not resemble this. [break][break]
She almost found herself succumbing to a panic attack before she hastily tried to staunch it. No, she could not let herself fall into a panicked state! Ryne had been through far worse and this and she would handle it calmly! Slowly, she pushed herself onto unsteady feet as she stumbled to regain her balance. Her head felt somewhat fuzzy as her surroundings began to swim before her blurry vision. Everything would be fine! All she needed to do was get to the city and see if she could find out where she was exactly! Ryne placed one hesitant foot in front of the other for several moments before her unsteady weight collapsed.
It seemed to Rosa that there were never enough people in need. Especially after the storm, Torensten and it's people struggled to rebuild and recover. Yet this day was better than most had been. Rosa was able to spend some time for herself, away from the city for a bit, to gather wild blooms to help brighten the orphanage up.
But no matter how far from the city she traveled, she would always be reminded of what had happened. On her way back from her short trek, basket in the crook of her elbow, freshly plucked daisies lay gently inside, she saw the figure of a young girl stumbling in the dirt.
Her pace quickened and she bent next to he girl and reached out for her before she could hit the ground. Concern in her eyes, and reassurance in her voice, Rosa peered down at the pretty blonde. "Oh, be careful! Are you hurt? Please, let me help you."
She had spoken these same words to a stranger before... And thoughts of him quickly passed through her mind, stirring up a soft heartache, but it went away as she steeled herself to help this girl with a clear head.

[attr="class","ayab-text"] Before she could taste any dirt, Ryne felt herself being caught quickly enough. She blinked owlishly as she lifted her bright eyes to take sight of one of the prettiest women she had ever seen. Her cheeks flushed in both embarrassment and that she was staring so unabashedly at her new savior. Words of gratitude were the first thing to press against her lips, but her throat felt quite dry as she turned her head and coughed instead. Wincing a little how rude she was acting, Ryne did her best to clear her throat so she could speak. It seemed being pulled into this world had left her body feeling quite weak as a result. Oh, how was she supposed to get back home? [break][break]
"T-thank you!" she stuttered out with a nervous smile. Meeting new people was always a welcome experience! But she still felt a little hesitation in pushing outside of her boundaries and being less shy. Gaia had certainly helped her be more assertive! The older girl was not here with her, which left her feeling more vulnerable than ever. The Scions had gone back to the Source and she had promised herself she would do her best to protect Norvrandt in their place. But now she was here all alone with only this kind woman to aid her at present. Ryne disliked being such a burden to others without meaning to be. [break][break]
"I'm just dizzy. I'm sorry for burdening you." Ryne shifted herself until she was sitting on her knees so she was not leaning her entire weight against her savior's. Her teeth sank into her bottom lip as she peered up with wide, blue eyes. "I don't know where I am. Where exactly are we?" It was the first question she could think to ask as she resisted the urge to just sink into the woman's arms and sleep.
Rosa held in a sigh, though she was relieved that she was able to catch Ryne before she hit the ground. Emerald eyes scanned the girl for any visible marks or bruises in case she had been hurt somehow, all the while a kind smile to let the young girl know she meant no harm.
The blonde nodded as the girl thanked her, and it seemed she wanted to remain closer to the ground for now. Rosa helped keep Ryne upright as she shifted her weight to her knees. As Ryne got her bearings and asked where they were, Rosa bent to retrieve her fallen basket and daises, of which she had tossed aside in order to catch the girl.
"We're almost to a city called Torensten," she smiled and turned in the direction. When the dust would settle, the silhouette of the city would come into view. "Do you remember where you were before now?" Such questions came naturally to Rosa. It seemed that lately, she had a knack of meeting others who did not seem to be from Zephon...

[attr="class","ayab-text"] Resisting the urge to fidget, Ryne allowed the woman to look her over to her heart's content. She could not see any bruises or physical injuries on her person beyond the soreness and exhaustion she felt. That was something that could be taken care of with a good night's rest and a warm meal in her belly. When the other woman began to gather the daisies that had fallen from her basket, Ryne was keen on leaning forward and helping to gather them, too. It was her fault the basket had been tossed aside and the pretty flowers had been scattered all over the ground. [break][break]
She carefully held the fallen flowers before trying to place them in the basket to make sure she did not bruise them needlessly. The daisies were so pretty and delicate to the touch. The delicate scent of them reached her nose and it comforted her greatly amid the more acrid scent of this city. Torensten? The name was certainly more rough sounding than that of the Crystarium. While the city she called home was filled with spiraling buildings of blue crystal this one seemed to be of steel and dust. How long was she going to be here? Was there some way she could go back home? How had she managed to travel to this world with both her body and soul intact? [berak][break]
"Yes, I was back in my apartment in the Crystarium. I was planning a picnic with a friend and when I decided to take a nap I found myself here." It did not seem her memories had suffered from her unexpected journey here, which relieved her greatly. Ryne was very much worried at the sight of her startlingly gold hair instead of her softer red tresses, though. What else about her had changed? Sighing softly to herself, Ryne redirected her energy into pushing herself to stand. Her legs wobbled beneath her for a moment as she did her best to remain balanced and steady. Progress! [break][break]
"May I ask for your name? Mine is Ryne. I'd like to properly thank you for helping me so far," she introduced with a soft smile as she clasped her hands together.
