Up where the mountains meet the heavens above Out where the lightning splits the sea
Bartz groaned as the door slammed in his face. How this was suddenly all his fault was crazy. Food was meant to be eaten wasn't it? Not according to Faris it wasn't. He'd been chastised and yelled at for a least a good twenty minutes as the pirate had come home to see the cupboards empty, and the fridge likewise as Bartz sat on the counter top eating the last of the bread. Bartz had been pretty worried Faris was going to pull one of the knives out of the cutting board to emphasize his point, but the yelling was more than enough. If he was going to eat all the food, he could go buy all the food. Bartz pointed out he couldn't buy food since he had no money.
A basket, a handful of cash, and an earful of hateful words about being a "leech with half the brain of one" and Bartz guessed he had no choice really. He hadn't even had time to argue that maybe if they didn't stick to just looking for Boko within the outer limits of the city they wouldn't be in this room, and therefore he wouldn't have had to sit around and eat all day. Things were still on slightly uneasy terms since the money wouldn't stretch anymore to cover Bartz having his own separate room. Though he was warming up more to Krile than Faris at this point, he still didn't like her worried talks about his doings. They were his doings, and she needn't worry herself with him he explained, but it did nothing to quell the young girl, and he had yet again gotten another earful from Faris after that conversation.
Bartz wasn't even quite sure where the market district was. This city was so much bigger than any he had to deal with before, and he hadn't really had much time to explore. Much of his free time was spent looking for Boko in the nearby fields whether alone, with one of them, or both. Bartz didn't think his bud was anywhere nearby, not by a long shot, but it didn't hurt to do a thorough investigation although if he had been by himself he would have been clear cross the country at this point. Yet, he didn't feel like being hunted down and the free room was a hard thing to pass up
Lost in his own thoughts, Bartz hadn't realized how far he had been walking. The smell of food made him believe he was in the right direction, and Bart whooped with excitement. His stomach growled and rumbled as the smell hooked him like a fish to bait and he made his way through the thinning streets. Deciding to cut through an alleyway to save some time, Bartz jumped over overturned trashcans, and tutted at a stray cat who only hissed at him before running away. He shrugged knowing you couldn't win them all over even as he sighed. Bartz wasn't even paying attention as he ran smack dab into someone.
"Oh hey, sorry," he said with a closed eyed grin running his hand through his hands and waving with his other hand. But there was no response. Bartz opened his eyes to see if the person had moved, but instead came face to face with a man, his face frozen terrified and it made Bartz jump a step back. "What the?" he asked as he noticed a person holding onto the man's shoulder also looking as if they were trying to escape the situation. Was this some weird statue? Bartz walked past the duo not quite sure what to make of it and out onto the street.
Something was seriously wrong. The whole street was littered with the statues. Bartz began to walk out into the open empty street, but stopped as something flickered in his peripheral. It flickered again and again way down at the other end of the long avenue, and Bartz had a hard time seeing down that far. He did noticed some rather odd spheres suspended in the air and he stared at the one nearby while rubbing his chin. Something red and black kept flickering in and out of view around one of the statues it looked right. Bartz squinted trying to see just who it was, maybe the artist of this crazy exhibit when everything was set in motion.
Screaming. Bartz was pushed over as the man he had been leaning on mobilized and continued running away. Someone stepped on his hand as he was trying to get up, and he yelled in pain as he struggled to get up against the pouring of people down the street. And then the death started. The black orbs descended, and he was left horrified as he watched one consume a family, pressing them down into the ground until nothing of them remained as the orb idled there. Bartz eyes widened and he too felt swept into the throng of people trying to run.
The alleyway was becoming too congested though, and he knew it would be a death trap if one of those orbs decided to descend in there. Spying a ladder leading to the roof of a nearby building above the chaos, Bartz grabbed the hands of the nearest people he could not paying attention to who."C'mon!" he screamed and began to tug. "We gotta get to higher ground." His crystal began to burn brightly against his chest.
Krile stood on the sidelines during Faris' rants againsy Bartz. More specicully she had taken a place in a chair right between the two, looking between them as Faris gave him what for. Though she understood why he was upset at Bartz it honestly hadn't bothered her as bad as it had her captian. She was still running off the high of three of them being together again. Even if Bartz' memory wasn't back he was still Bartz at his core. As much as it still got to her at times she knew she just had to have paitence. Once they found Boko he would make it all clear. As much as it bothered Bartz she coudn't make herself not worry about them. They were her friends, her family.
The only ones she had left
That was why whether he liked or not she woudn't ignore that feeling she got. The sense that those she cared about were in danger. She didn't want to. That was why when the flash came to her. The feeling in her gut that this time Bartz life was truly in danger that she had no hesitation. She was out of the inn before the manager could even ask if she was checking out. She would hear it from Faris for going alone later, but she didn't care. What she cared about was keeping her friends safe.
What she cared about was not losing anyone else
It was a long run but she would finally come upon what could only be the danger she felt. Orbs decended from the sky. Statues in the shape of people lay about in what she could only assume was the orbs doing-or a a vile persons idea of fun with petrification. As much as she wanted to help them she didn't posses the skull needed with white magic to life this condition. In truth the best she could do was heal wounds. Aside from that... As selfish as it was seeing the condition of everyone around her heightned her worry for Bartz more than anything. It swelled in her chest and quickened her pace as she followed her inner compass through hoards of frightned people. People were consumed others left ones that wearn't for dead. What was this? What kind of monster would do this to innocent people? Exdeath, the Rift Demons. They were gone. Who did that leave? People were dropped here not just from her world or her friend's world... But others to. Was this fiend from one of them?
Her crystal was on fire, it screamed at the horror around her. But she had to keep going. She would find Bartz, then they could help these people.
When at last she came upon Bartz.. she saw a sight both beutiful and sad. Sad because the pain these people were going through, but beutiful because she saw another sign of the Bartz she knew-helping these people out of danger as best he could. She came from behind without a second thougbt, assiting her friend in guiding these people up the ladder. She only climbed herself when the way was clear. When she did she climbed up the ladder herself.
Her crystal woudn't stop its burn, who caused this?
"Bartz! What's going on?!"
If it was any time to joke she'd ask what he did this time. But it wasn't a time to joke.
And no matter the mistake he woudn't cause something like this.
Larsa was slightly confused, but that did not mean he was a stranger to evil deeds. It started when he had entered the Port City. What had come to his attention was that people were frozen still as if they had been afflicted by some sort of powerful Magick. He only observed people who appeared to be frozen still. He then noticed peculiar orbs up in the sky. Most peculiar, The young Solidor thought to himself.
Then, chaos had struck. The people who were all frozen had begun running in panic. Larsa did know why the citizens of this unknown city was frightened exactly, but it obviously could not have been a good thing. Larsa had seen people trampling over others just to get to safety as he did the same. The orbs had then began to descend from above them. Larsa had shouted "Stop!" to a woman child, but it was too late. A black orb from above engulfed her, reducing her to nothing. Larsa bit his lip; moving on whilst knowing there was nothing he could do to save her.
He saw a little boy and girl crying as yet another orb was about to descend on them. On instinct, Larsa ran quickly, using what strength he could muster, picking them up and moving out of the way quick enough before the orb fell on them both. The Solidor saw a slightly older youth guiding survivors. Larsa who was controlled by his instincts, had begun to follow.
The two children Larsa was carrying were too frightened to second guess who he was. They clung too him, not wanting to let go of him. Larsa smiled at them warmly, reassuring them once they had made it to a much safer location. He placed them down noticing they were injured, most likely from others who were also running away. Larsa casted a healing spell , healing the two children's smaller wounds. They skiddishly thanked him, as they wiped away their tears.
All Larsa could was nod, giving them yet another heart felt smile. Larsa had then took the time to look around for the older youth who had guided him and the others to higher ground. That was when he had spotted him with another female. Larsa had slowly walked over to the both of them.
"I apologize for the intrusion, but I personally wanted to thank you. If I hadn't seen you guide others to higher ground the two children I was carrying, as well as myself, would probably have been engulfed by the Magick descending from the sky," Larsa had said, bowing not only to him, but to his female companion as well, showing he acknowledged them both.

Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall my return.
Truthfully, Genesis hadn’t wanted to leave the apartment when he had been so deep into a nap, so when Sephiroth had rushed out the door without a word, Genesis had very nearly just rolled over on the couch and gone back to sleep. The only thing that gave him pause was that the man had his sword in hand. Clearly he’d noticed some kind of threat. With a groan, Genesis oozed his way off the couch and threw his red leather coat on over his shoulders. He was severely feeling the amount of wine that he had drank last night, so he had to push himself to catch up with his friend as he grabbed his rapier off the table and chased after him down the street.
“Someone better be dead, Sephiroth!” He yelled up to his friend in irritation, rubbing at his pounding headache as they sprinted closer towards the center of town. The wind blowing towards them brought the sound of horrified screams with it, and Genesis blinked at the noise. Then he blinked again. “Oh. I guess they are.”
Running was a lot slower than flying, but he knew that Sephiroth wasn’t exactly comfortable with taking off by himself yet, so with only a slight scowl, Genesis extended his wing through the slit in his coat. Grabbing his friend’s arm in mid-run, he pushed off against the ground and propelled them both up towards the sky. Once they were at a comfortable height, he let go of Sephiroth, trusting that he could take over from here. Sephiroth would probably be annoyed with him, but he seemed focused on the destination for now at least.
As they soared closer to the center of town, Genesis squinted towards the tiny figures below them, whistling under his breath at the sight of the fleeing people and the magic orbs chasing them down. “When the war of the beasts brings about the world’s end, the goddess descends from the sky,” he quoted, glancing between a few people getting crushed into the sidewalk. “Must we get involved? I’m not about risking my life for strangers.” He yawned behind one hand, still fighting his hangover as they descended closer to the chaos. “We could always just keep going, get a house in Provo instead,” he suggested, eyes scanning the landscape below him until he suddenly pulled back in surprise, eyes locked on a red-caped brunette boy on the roof who was decidedly not a stranger. Bartz. What was he doing so far from Sonora?
Forgetting about Sephiroth, Genesis dove towards the roof, lightly landing on the shingles behind the small crowd that had gathered there and pulling in his wing. One of the older kids on the roof had just bowed to Bartz and the blonde girl next to him, his speech surprisingly fluid for his age as he thanked them for showing him the way. Some kind of high-born upbringing, no doubt.
“Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess,” Genesis greeted them, his eyes flickering between the small dark-haired boy and the blonde girl before focusing on Bartz. “Why am I not surprised to find you in the thick of things?” He asked with a slight roll of his eyes. The last time that he’d seen Bartz, he had been sneaking out of his hotel room at the crack of dawn, so his words came out a bit more disgruntled than he meant them. “And now you’re with a gaggle of children. Have you adopted?”
Around this time, Genesis remembered that Sephiroth existed, so he glanced upward, but it appeared that the silver-haired man was long gone. Wonderful. Leave it to Sephiroth to keep going towards the action.
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above Out where the lightning splits the sea
Bartz let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding. They were safe for now, unless of course the orbs would rise up to them. Bartz gulped at the thought, but he would deal with that if it came to that. He ran to the other side of the roof and looked around. There wasn't another way down, but it did seem calmer and clearer on the street over. As he thought how to get everyone down he thought he saw another ladder a few buildings over. Bartz had to back away from the edge as vertigo set in and he could feel his stomach clench.
"Krile!" Bartz popped as he turned as he heard the girl's voice behind him. "What are you doing here?" He was generally perplexed, hadn't he just left the two of them to do his shamed shopping? Had she been following along, and he had just been oblivious? It wasn't past the realm of possibilities, he wasn't very aware of his surroundings in the best of times. "I don't know. Once second everything was super calm, and then BAM." he said clapping his hands fast giving the kids next to him a jump. Bartz gave them a sheepish smile with a sorry.
Before he had even a second to speculate the cause beyond the vision of red he had seen, the two were approached by another young boy. Bartz just blinked rapidly as he came to terms with what the boy was saving. "Oh, um, no problem," Bartz said with a soft smile, closing his eyes, and running his hand through his hair. He hadn't really been thinking about what he was doing, he had just done what his heart had told him. Now look at him trapped two stories in the air with no way down. "Thanks for healing them up."
"Infinite in mystery is the gift of the goddess,”
Bartz didn't even need to turn to know who had joined them on the roof. How many times had that guy said that same thing all night long? "Genesis!" Bartz exclaimed throwing his hands in the air as he turned to see that red leather jacket he liked so much. "Hey, what's that supposed to mean!?" Bartz asked putting his hands on his hips the same way he did every time Faris or Krile asked him the same thing. Adopted? Bartz looked around and realized that indeed there was a small gaggle of children huddled up again the three of them.
"They're not mine," he laughed with a wave."Krile's the only one I know." Bartz wanted to ask so many questions, but their reunion conversation was cut short as more screams rose up to them. He heard the cracking and breaking, and he ran over to see the ladder being dissolved into one of the orbs. He grabbed at the person at the top as they looked into the orb and hauled them up. Still Bartz had noticed the scattering crowd at the ladder's base. They had lost their way out of the mess.
The light engulfed him as Bartz worried about the ones he couldn't reach. When the light would fade, Bartz would be encased in sky blue draconian armor, a spear in his hand. "Not again!" Bartz exclaimed as he felt the crystal radiating against his chest. Bartz looked over at Krile and the others and did a dramatic exasperated shrug. "What does this one do?" the question was directed at Krile even as he asked the trio that had formed.
Krile became deadpan for a moment. Why was she here? She was here because her friends had this nasty habit of constantly putting themselves into all sorts of danger every time she turned away for five minutes! She was here because Bartz was in fact hopeless and if she didn't chances were high he would fall in some hole and ether get absorbed by one of these spheres or just sleep the whole thing through. She woudn't risk the first option. She was here to help him. She was here because whether he remebered her or not she still cared, she remebred everything he did for her. He was still one of the people closest to her heart.
She was here because she coudn't stand to lose that
"Cause you can't stay out of dangerious situations long enough for me to take a nap dummy! Seriously who else goes for a walk and ends up in the middle of a literal disaster?!"
Probaly any of their little group, but that was not the point! Besides it happened to Bartz WAY more than the rest of them! So... These things just came out of nowhere? That coudn't be true right? Everything came from somewhere. A mage... A device... Something or someone had to be causing this, but who?
The next thing she knew another man had come upon them, thanking them for guiding the children. Apprantly it helped him to. Well Bartz had done most of the work, she just helped him finish up. Still their was little point in arguing over that right now, besides it felt nice to be thanked. Though the bowing... The bowing reminded her of the castle. That part she could do without.
"Of course ummm no need to bow though, just trying to help"
The next arrival was... Odd. His intro rhymed for reasons she could only guess at. Bartz seemed to know him.
Yep he knew him.
And was excited to see him.
REALLY excited to see him.
She had to resist the temptation to ice his neck while he wasn't looking and blame it on the orbs in the sky. She supposed that woudn't be very nice until Bartz fully remebred her. She didn't want to have to find him AGAIN. At least he acknowledged that he knew her, though even that was just because of their working together she was sure. It was unfair... After everything.... He PROMISED! She knew it wasn't his fault but her heart still ached. She knew she just needed to forge that bond once more. It just hurt that it was something she had to do. For a moment her face was in a glare towards the two before shr simply gave a sigh of defeat.
Give it time, give it time.
"Hey! I'm not that young you know! I can take care of myself... Better than Bartz anyway"
She crossed her arms with a huff, but came to her senses when more screams were heard. This was getting bad. They needed to find a way out, and fast. That person was lucky but everyone else on the ground...
Bartz was engulfed in the crystal's light, and Krile coudn't help the excited gasp that eacaoed her lips as he reappeared clad in the armor of the Dragoon, complete with spear in hand. Her eyes sparkled with joy. He had done it! He was getting the hang of it or... His crystal was if nothing else. Ether way! Though this also meant she would have to break a particular bit of news to him. The Dragoon was fitting for this situation, very much so. But it also meant Bartz would have to face a particular... Issue.
"Well Bartz... That form's specilty is jumping attacks. Jumping HIGH. So umm well our goal being to help these people and all your gonna have to.."
She'd rub the back of her head, the nervous expression showed. She knew exactly how Bartz would react to the news.
"Your gonna have to jump really high, couple times probaly"
She tapped her chin, trying to think of a way to lessen the impact.
"I'm not good with the dragoon but... I still have your back?"
An embarssed smile crossed her face as she said that. Truthfully the physcial classes she was best at dealt with the sword, not the spear-and she used her Wind Drake for most air stuff so jumps that were going up instead of down....
Larsa blushed a little before his face turned back to a normal color. "My apologies. From where I'm from, being formal is quite a habit of mine. Also, not a problem," he quickly explained to the two people standing before him as well as aknowledging his thanks for healing the children earlier. Then another gentleman had entered the fray. Judging how he and the gentleman known as Bartz talked amongst each other, it seemed they knew each other. However, Larsa found the man-in-red's comment to be rather rude.
"I have to agree with her on that matter. It seems you assume too much before you know the extent of what I or she can do," Larsa said, however, his attention towards the man in the red coat had shifted to the sounds of screams from the people below. The people down below were now trapped.
Larsa helped the person whom Bartz had helped up, soon realizing the person was injured as well. Larsa quickly conjured mist, casting yet another healing spell to heal their wounds. That was when Lars had seen a flash behind, turning to see Bartz was in completely different attire than before. Seeing what had unfolded before the young lord was intriguing to say the least.
As the girl had explained how to use Bartz newly profound change, Larsa had spoke once more. I may not possess such capabilities, but I can heal any wounded that you bring back to me," Larsa said to Bartz, who would be one of them venturing out to help those trapped down below. Since you will be jumping at presumed height, you can probably find out what or who is exactly causing the mayhem," Larsa pointed out. If the young lord were to wager a guess, it had to be something or someone who possessed powerful Magicks at their disposal.

Even if the morrow is barren of promises, nothing shall forestall my return.
Genesis supposed that he couldn’t blame Bartz for being startled to see him--if he had ever encountered the brunette man again than he would have assumed it would be in a bar in Sonora again and not in the middle of some kind of disaster half a continent away. As it was, Bartz looked incredibly overwhelmed, as if he didn’t quite know what to do about all the carnage happening around him. It looked like he hadn’t lost his simple, naive nature yet. Those weren’t traits that Genesis normally liked in people, but he found that he was glad in this case.
The two older kids on the roof seemed to take offense at his comments. The blonde girl that Bartz had referred to as Krile gave him an icy look, but Genesis had to laugh at her comment that she could take care of herself better than Bartz could. “Oh, I’ve no doubts on that. It’s such a low bar to clear,” he said with a faint smirk directed at her and the brunette boy.
The other boy looked to be around Krile’s age, though Genesis didn’t have a name to put with his face yet. He’d either missed his introduction or he hadn’t said his name yet, but he also voiced his protests at being called a child in a way that mildly rubbed Genesis the wrong way. Ugh. Kids these days. If Bartz wasn’t around, then he might have been tempted to push the boy off the roof when no one was looking. As it was, he applauded himself on his remarkable self-restraint when all he did was make eye contact with the boy and say “Children.”
There were sudden screams from down below as the ladder was wrenched in half by the force of one of the orbs. Bartz managed to save the child on top, and the anonymous brunette boy seemed to be surprisingly adept at healing magic as he took over from there. Peering over the side, Genesis grimaced in distaste at the sight of the orbs. There sure were some dead children under there. “My friend, the fates are cruel. There are no dreams, no honor remains.”
As he finished his Loveless quote, Bartz was engulfed in the same light that had attracted the thieves to him inside the nightclub where they had met. “Really? Is now the time for your dancing gear?” He asked with a roll of his eyes, but when the light faded, he was dressed in thick blue armor instead of the red half-shirt that Genesis had been expecting. “Oh. Well that’s new.”
Krile seemed thrilled with the transformation for some reason, and she explained that he would now be able to jump extraordinarily high. Everyone acted like changing abilities along with your clothing was completely normal for some reason, so Genesis didn’t bother to point out how insane that was. He’d rolled with weirder since he’d woken up in Zephon.
The brunette boy quickly offered to heal any wounded that Bartz was able to bring back, which was admittedly a good plan. He did seem to be fairly skilled with magic--not that Genesis would compliment him after their earlier exchange. Krile seemed unreasonably worried about Bartz having to jump so high though, and Genesis raised an eyebrow as he considered the sky.
“And why exactly is that such a problem?”
Sephiroth appeared to be long gone. For all Genesis knew, he’d already found the source of the orbs. Should he take to the air to follow his friend? He somehow doubted the other two would want him around once Bartz was gone.
Up where the mountains meet the heavens above Out where the lightning splits the sea
Everything was happening so fast. Bartz just blinked rapidly at all the commotion, and then at Krile as she began to explain just excatly what this crystal was expecting of him. The words began to jumble, and if the others could have seen behind the dragon's helm, Bartz' eyes went deadpan as she talked about jumping. Jumping high into the sky. He couldn't help it as his nerves lit an axious fire in him, and he began to shake slightly. "No, no, no. No,no no." he paniced as he looked up into the great vast expanse of the heavens above.
A memory struck him quickly. He was screaming for help. The ground did not look soft underneath him and his grip on the window frame was slowly losing control. Another memory flashed quickly before his eyes as he stood there stammering. His face pressed up against someone's back, his eyes closed tighter than the grip he had on the person, as they soared on the back of a wind drake.
More screaming brought Bartz back to the present moment as his body still shook in fear. Since when would he ever have willingly flown on a wind drake. Was this some hallucination brought on by fear to scare him more? He was so frightened, but as he listened to the chaos below, he knew he was going to have to deal with it. He couldn't just let people die because he was afraid could he?
Bartz tentatively approached the edge of the building. He glanced behind them for support as he shakily gave them a thumbs up. His voice warbled and they couldn't see the stream of tears running down his cheeks. "Just make sure you guys run if those orbs attack," he said glancing between Krile and Larsa and then to Genesis. Genesis. "Hey, you can fly!" he said pointing at the man. "Will you help me get people? I probably won't be as scared if someone I know is with me." The man could choose to help or not, but Bartz knew that he didn't have time to wait for an answer.
Bartz approached the ledge glanced once more at everyone and closing his eyes gave a small leap up. Except instead of small leap, Bartz had managed to ricochet a good thirty feet into the air. He started screaming as the ground barreling towards him ready to break him into pieces. He tried to move to position himself but he could hardly think as the fear clutched at instinct and he froze. This was a mistake. A big horrible mistake. He couldn't help anyone, he couldn't even help himself from dying here splattered against the pavement.
She coudn't say the guy's kind tones were not welcome. A kind soul would always be welcome! Just... She was used to this in the castle. The maids, the staff... Even Grandpa at times! She didn't have to deal with that with Bartz, Faris and Lenna. She didn't want to be treated like a princess, or a child. They didn't do that. They treated her the same as they would any adult, any regular person. This guy didn't treat her like a kid sure but... She was just never super into the whole taking over the kingdom deal, even if she joked about it at time. Maybe that was dumb, being super respectful didn't just equal to being tread to royality. She knew that-So why did she let it linger in her mind?
Maybe because she knew if they ever got back, she'd need to take that throne one day. Granda was gone... Mom and Dad were gone... She was the only one left who could.
"It's ok! Don't worry about it! We've got bigger fish... Orbs? To deal with!"
He agreed with her, though and caused the young princess to give a confident nod in response. She was sure he could handle himdelf to-he certanly looked it. She tried to contain the giggle that escaped her lips at Genisis' own agreement, jealiosy still lingering from how Bartz reacted to him. She could be seen letting out a quick laugh before quickly composing herself, trying to pass the laugh off as a cough as she did her best at a glare the mans way, crossing her arms.
Genisis didn't know why Bartz was so worried? Ha! So he didn't know everything about him! She took what was probaly to much satisfaction in that, defently more than anyone else actually cared about the subject. But this was a serious moment, she needed to stay composed-cheering could wait.
"Bartz isn't a big fan of being in the air, or flying... Or anything similar, it kinds freaks him out"
Something that could be seen in Bartz's intial reaction to the news. But Bartz, whether he wanted to admit it or not... Was a hero. She knew their was fear in him, their always was when it came to this. But he put that aside, did what he could to hide his worry and and stand tall.
"You can do it Bartz! I'll help hold things down while... You guys get them to safety... I belive in you!"
She suddenly wished she had trained with the with the Dragoon shard a lot more. No, that could wait. The orbs... What was the best way to hold them down while Genisis and Bartz got people to safety? What was the best way to keep them blown back and held down? Their was a healer. The rescuers.
Blow... Blow! That was it! It you wanted to interupt something floating up an_ down and all around... What better way than to use the wind? She began rooting through her pockets. Hsd she brought... Where... Ah!
A swirl of light enveloped her, her clothing shifted to accomindate the new form. A flowing cspe, a blue mask and red cap. White shirt and buttoned shirt. Pink stockings and blue heels. She probaly looked a crazy sight to those around her... But she didn't care! She coudn't control what the crytald did to their bodies anyway! No.. what mattered now was kreping the orbs back as well as she could while the others took care of the others. She could do that. She was a warrior of light, a protector like her Grandpa before her!
If an orb came further up she would fire blasts of Aero magic in an attempt to keep it back. Careful to maintain her use. If she ran out of power it would only make things worse. Steady use of the spell. She didn't know how well it would work but it was all she could think of right now. In the end she didn't need to destroy them. All she had to do was hold back what came their way. She... Really hoped they didn't decided to start ganging up though
She could do this... She WOULD do this, for her friend.
