Black Waltz 3 was nothing if not a seething mass of frustration since his arrival... and he made it no secret to the people around him. Every being, creature or man he had come across was left as nothing but singed, broken bodies, craters surrounding them where massive bolts of lightning had struck. More and more blood dripped from his talons as the rage-fueled black mage ripped swaths across the landscape, taking anyone he could gather back up to his new "base" of operations... Voltage surged between his feathers and across his tight, blue coat as Black Waltz 3 dangled his newest victim just within his grip, the pair soaring above the mountain tops, above a decimated village... This place was crawling with monsters, creatures Black Waltz 3 had never seen before, much less had data on... but they were savage enough and warped enough to scare the life out of these pathetic humans...
...and that was just perfect for him...
The creature he had stolen had come from one of the smaller villages not far from the mountain's base, an older man who required a stick to hobble about. It was no trouble to blast his little hut to dust before stealing the man who had owned it, a man who now only lived by the grace of the claws that dug into his tunic. He was only one among many the mage had taken, each one a victim of their own ignorance. Perhaps this one would hold the information he sought. If not...? Well... Even savage beasts had to eat.
Slowly, lowering in a circular gliding pattern, Black Waltz 3 would lower himself down into the center of the ruined village, the mage sensing the presence of several other monsters watching... waiting... His glowing white eyes flicked in the direction of each of the surrounding houses, noting the haunting, predatory orbs that stared out from within shattered window panes and gored foundations... They had learned what fate would await them should they interfere... and what treat they would receive should they wait. Dogs... but useful dogs nonetheless.
Black Waltz 3 would mercilously toss the old man to the ground before him, the old codger groaning in pain as his body SLAMMED against the harsh, rocky earth blow him. His eyes widened, his jaw quivering in fear as he rose to his knees, his gaze starting at the dirty, red-stained white shoes of the mage... slowly tracing up his baggy grey pants, tight scarecrow-esq jacket... before resting on the mass of darkness for-a-face... and the glowing white eyes within.
"Where is the princess?" The mage demanded, holding out a gnarled hand, twisted nails like an eagle's talon protruding from each finger. Wild, thick surges of lighting crackled and writhed from the point of each claw, slithering and arcing around the older man as he cried out with fear, daring him to move a single inch... and be obliterated with the force of his magic. Black Waltz 3 relished in his terror, how this man screamed and begged... but such pleasures were secondary to his mission. He must bring Garnet back to the Queen!
"Where is Princess Till Alexandros?" He demanded again, his twisted fingers curling into a fist one at a time, the lightning cage-like voltage tightening around the man more and more! One touch... and his body would just be another charred snack for the beasts within this village... He cared not for this man's life... but he desired to feel like he was making SOME progress! Hopefully... this man would break... before he was broken.

It seemed that Keimusho was guided here merely by chance. Since his arrival the Au Ra learned that he was no longer in his homeworld. That meant that there were others that were whisked away from their homes as well. It was definitely a catalyst that would cause much unneeded conflict and destruction. This was made even more evident through the piles of freshly singed bodies in the area. But there was something odd about seeing these corpses. Keimusho heard that these parts were void of civilization these days, so why would anyone try to build a village here now? Well I suppose the question was now moot considering that they are nothing but mere corpses now; however, the more pressing question was, "Whom caused this?"
He was sure that someone would've managed to flee if mere monsters attacked the village and the destruction somehow felt organized... At least to a certain extent. That was not even mentioning the great number of craters that surrounded each body. "Someone orchestrated this attack, I think tis is certain. Though the intentions as to why are not so clear.", said the Au Ra.
Suddenly the Au Ra heard a scream, a sound that Keimusho did not neglect to trail. The ninja managed to find the source of the screams, an elderly man in the grasp of this... figure for a lack of a better term. Though it didn't appear to be something that originated from this world. This could easily have been a reaction of an individual randomly sent here. Granted it was an extreme example, but it was not out of the realm of possibility. Still, he couldn't sit here and allow the thing to cause more destruction.
There was no way for the ninja to try and sneak to a blind spot, the area was too shattered. Perhaps it may listen to reason, if it could. The ninja had his hand to his weapon, ready to draw it at a moments notice. "Hey! I don't know what your intentions are, but it would be best if you released that man.", said giving the being a stern look that was mostly hidden beneath the mask.
The man ninja was lucky his approach did no trigger an attack from the savage beasts that inhabited the ruins of this village, the presence of newer, fresher meat an incentive more enticing. Perhaps it was the presence of a stronger, darker evil among them that kept the creatures to their shadowy hides... but even so, their eyes now trailed upon the ninja more than the mage and the prize he had brought. The man, this newer one, bothered not to hide himself, likely a smarter strategy given that the only safe locations in this village were the ones out in the open. The man was wrapped head to toe, his identity hidden beneath his garbs, his placement before the electricity-cloaked mage indicating some kind of confidence.
Distracted from his interrogation, Black Waltz 3 lifted his head from the man he threatened to execute, his glowing white eyes narrowing analytically as his fingers continued to slowly clench. With each finger curling inward, the lightning closed in further upon his prisoner, the winged creature seemingly not at all put off by the presence of this new figure. If anything, he was in FAR more danger confronting him here, now, than he would've been trying to hide among the beasts... fore Black Waltz 3 knew he controlled this place. He had POWER here... and only fools would willingly show their forms to him.
Still... Black Waltz 3 rose to his full height, his wings spreading wide to either side of him as if to express the girth of his power. Crackles and sparks of electricity coursed and arced down and along his wings and feathers, up and across the length of his shoulders as he analyzed this arrogant traveler... Indeed, unlike this old, cowardly human, this creature seemed much more heavily armed and seasoned... Likely seen more of this world than the Black Waltz had in his short time here. He would make for a much more fruitful torture-session once the mage had sunken his claws into him... And that meant he had no more need for his original prisoner.
Black Waltz 3 extended one of his hands, summoning his staff from where it had rested on the ground nearby, the crescent-headed rod flying into his free-handed grip! His other hand... Closed as the mage mercilessly allowed his THUNDER spell to collapse in upon itself and the prisoner within... CRUSHING AND SEARING him to nothing but a gnarled, charcoal-like shape... should the stranger be unable to save him. With an electric CRASH... all that was left of an old man... would be a black, chalky mass in a small, circular crater... A fitting end for an inferior life-form.
"What a foolish creature you are." Black Waltz 3 remarked, his voice sharp, cold like the obsidian of volcanoes. "Not only have you come to face death... but you walk right into its domain as well." The Mage gestured around him with his staff, the point of his crescent pausing at each obvious pair of glowing eyes among the darkness, the soft growls and hisses of hungry monsters cutting through the air. With a few flaps of his mighty wings, Black Waltz 3 would SHOOT into the air a few meters above the earth, his arms crossed over each other as if DARING the ninja to attack.
"...However... if you answer my question, I will spare you... an equally agonizing death. Where is Princess Garnet Til Alexandros? Answer me... before I retract my offer."

The old man's death was something that Keimusho narrowly prevented. Keimusho sprinted towards the elderly man as the mage casted its spell. There was no way the elderly man could survive the strike so the Au Ra would have shield him from it. As lighting crashed down Keimusho had to take the shot. Keimusho thought to try and negate the damage he was going to take. Keimusho's body would spin 360 degrees as he activated the Shade Shift technique. The shadows summoned by the technique attempted to block the strike, but failed to nullify the damage completely. The attack still caused Keimusho some took a damage, in fact the shocks caused first degree burns though they were covered by Keimusho's dogi which also had burnt spots on them from the attack. Still, he needed to get the old man away from the mage.
With the use of the Shukuchi technique the ninja swiftly tossed a smokebomb in the vicinity of the area. With the few seconds that the smokebomb gave, he lifted the man and swiftly moved back towards the location, which he originally confronted the mage. "If I were a moment slower, this old man would've been in similar shape to the earlier corpses.", Keimusho thought. Keimusho continued to ponder on the possible capabilities of the adversary. "Thunder... that's dark magic. Perhaps the way they operate isn't too different from the ways of thaumaturgy back in my world.", Keimusho thought.
However, in saving the old man Keimusho swiftly realized a problem. The old man was feeble and likely relied on a cane that the situation most certainly left him void of. There was no way that he going to be able to run away on his own. Then, even if he could there were the beasts in the area to worry about.
It all fell on Keimusho to find a way out of this situation. When the dust caused by the Thunder spell settled, Keimusho placed the old man a fair distance behind him. "Stay back, but stay close enough to where I can see you.",he whispered in the elderly man's ear. The old man obviously wasn't going to get anywhere far, especially void of a walking stick, but the fact that he could move at all (albeit slowly) was slightly beneficial for the man's own well being. The old man managed to hide behind a house by the time the mage began to utter its statement.
It seemed that the being was looking for someone, specifically a princess. So it was evident that it didn't get the memo that this is not their homeworld. Perhaps there was still a chance to reason with it. A slim chance. "The chances of you finding who you are looking for are slim at best. Judging from this rampage you induced you are not from this world either. This is not the world you know. Whoever you ask that question to knows not the answer nor the context behind the question. Your princess is not here and this slaughter of yours has proved pointless.", the ninja ranted towards the mage.
Before the mage could rip apart the old human with the sheer savagery of his magic, the ninja seemed to read what he was about to do and threw a smoke-bomb in his face! The (harmless) explosion and the obscurity afterwards blinding and disoriented Black Waltz 3 for merely a split second... but such a time was all that was required for the ninja to STEAL away the old coot... and take his lashes (or at least some of them) in his rescue attempt! Black Waltz 3 would take to the sky far sooner now that this new-comer had preformed what seemed to be an act of aggression, the shadow-faced monster hovering above the smokey cloud as he observed the old man from above... Still alive, yes... but not for much longer. If the Waltz did not gore him, the monsters here would... He could neither move fast enough or long enough to escape the beasts that roamed the hollowed out shells that were the houses of this village... He was doomed... All this man did was prolong his suffering. And yet, when offered with the simple and generous gift of a sweet and easy death, the ninja simply fired back, reading the Waltz's situation like a book and assuring him that his search was POINTLESS! There WAS no princess here, he claimed, stating that he had to STOP killing!
"Heheheheheheheh....! I will kill who I please, you inferior creature!" The Black Waltz would chortle, as if the ninja were a Flan telling a Black Mage what to do! His puny mind could not hope to understand his mission nor it's scope! "I will kill you... and then your kin..." He pointed at the old man, struggling to pull himself up to his feet. "...And I'll destroy everything I must to grab her attention. This is not my world, after all... that means there is not one human I have to spare to complete my mission." The Black Waltz's hands CHARGED to life with the roar of seering flames, balls of fire coagulating in his palm before he allowed them to drop into a house below...
BEFORE A HUGE EXPLOSION OF FIRA consumed it from the inside out, monsters of horrific, lion-like shape barreled out of the flames, madly biting at their seering flesh and charging down the ninja before them in their pain! Wild and feral beasts... the perfect creatures to wipe out the blight on the planet that was human kind.
"Let us see if you can even save yourself, fool." The Waltz would scoff, leveling his staff down at the old man... And firing massive, extremely dense jagged ball of ice, BLIZZARD from the center of his staff... aiming it right for the center of the old-man's stomach to crush it! He would toy with them like the animals they were... before he blew them to pieces...!

If it was not evident then, it certainly was now. The mage could not be reasoned with. That meant a fight was eminent. "It seems that you don't get the memo that you can't complete your mission at all. Not while your stuck here.", the ninja said. He said naught else because he knew it would be futile to try and reason any further. It was a reality that Keimusho only recently had to accept too, but that did not mean that he had no purpose in this world. The Kami want the Doman to do something, it just isn't clear what that purpose was, but he wasn't going to get anything done if he can't get out of this; however, despite this adversity the Au Ra kept a calm mind.
He watched as the black figure casted Fira on the house, which easily destroyed the structure, yet let loose the feral beasts. Though the mage's attack caused the beasts some damage, meaning that Keimusho could finish them of with ease before they even came close. The ninja's hands weaved the sign Chi followed by Ten. This activated the ninjutsu technique known as Katon. The ninja would blow air from his mouth which summoned a large ball of fire. The flames met all of the beasts that gave Keimusho chase, burning them to a crisp not too unlike what his adversary did to its earlier victims.
This left the beasts no longer an issue, but at that point the mage was casting another spell. Keimusho's hands weaved another sign: Kassatsu. The ninja once again started weaving signs in urgency. This time the signs weaved were Chi followed by Jin. This would activated the ninjutsu technique, Hyoton. The ninja would blow air in a similar fashion to the previously used technique. The air he exhaled brought forth a heap of ice directed towards the spell itself. Keimusho had no way of knowing that the mage was casting Blizzard so inadvertently he had fought fire with fire, or rather ice with ice in this case. He had hoped for the elderly man's sake that the attacks would cancel each other out.
What the ninja failed to understand was that if Black Waltz 3 was snatched from his world, there was a chance Garnet would have been taken too. It seemed that nobody seemed to know who these people were, falling into this place... which assumed that the people were taken at random... and that could only mean that somewhere, out there, there was a certain princess which would be put in his custody... It was only a matter of carving her out of this planet one life at a time.
With the beasts set loose to attack the ninja, he fired back with his own fire spell, setting already burning beast alight once more with a much thicker flame! Within only a few moments, those demons were burnt to nothing but ash, the sight of such devastation not coming from his own hand... aggravating the black mage. Even more impressive still was that even after being attacked from two separate angles at once, the ninja was still fast enough to counter the Black Waltz's Blizzard attack with a similar technique, two chunks of ice colliding and shattering in a vicious hail-storm! Slowly, the mage's eyes narrowed frustrated how they had come to this stalemate. That old man should have been DEAD after this adventurer chose to save himself... Just how fast was he...?
...Not fast enough to dodge lightning.
Without a word, the Black Waltz lifted his staff, electricity and voltage traveling up his arm and along the edges of his staff, coagulating in the center of the crescent head at the end of it all! More power... MORE POWER he pumped into his staff, a bigger, more coagulated mass of THUNDARA expanding until it fully encompassed the head of his weapon!
"Die."
With just one word, it was as if he invoked the name of the spell itself, twin bolts of electricity EXPLODING out from his staff, targeting both the ninja himself, and his pet... to let them both DIE a death worthy of such insignificant creatures! He would not even wait another moment after he had cast his spell, his free hand cupping inward... FLAME burning to life in his palm! Not a moment later the mage HURLED a FIRE spell between the two, the blazing orb EXPLODING upon contact, threatening to consume both in it's explosion! Black Waltz 3 was always more powerful casting his spells in the air... The Ninja would have to do more than simply defend himself if he wished this to end!

Keimusho was not going to keep this up much longer relying on his ninja techniques alone. There were only so many mudra he could weave at a single. Luckily for the ninja his first mentor, albeit deceitful mentor taught him the ways of the samurai. The ninja would pull his sword from its sheath located at his lower back. This kodachi, the Thorn of the Monarch glowed a bright amethyst color when it was drawn. The Anima residing in the weapon did not wish to speak at that time. The Au Ra would close the gap between him and the old man with Hissatsu: Gyoten. At lightning speed he rushed towards the old man and sliced the house that he stood next to, not that it would give him much protection to begin with. Though this meant that he would once again have to take one of the black mage's spells. It was too soon to use Shade Shift once again so instead he opted to use another technique from the samurai discipline: Third Eye.
Keimusho took yet another shot of thunder point blank. Those first degree burns of his turned to those of the second degree. As the mage was in the midst of casting yet another spell, the Au Ra activated Merciful Eyes, which allowed his burns to heal or at least become less severe as the burns reverted back to the first degree. Keimusho would still have another spell to worry about. Keimusho had to take the initiative and attack whilst he defended, though he placed his weapon in his sheath. He would not need it for this type of attack."One wrong move and this man is going to end up dead. I have to do this quickly. It's going to be a while before I'm able to cast any more Mudra in this fight, so I have to make this count!", Keimusho thought.
Keimusho created enough just enough space between him and the old man to toss four daggers towards the ground simultaneously. Set perfectly was a dagger in the front, one behind, and two one each side of him. A red insignia carved into the ground. The technique was Ten Chi Jin, which ironically enough was going to be the mudra combination he was going to be going for. He was not going to be able to move out of position whilst he did this lest he cancel the technique by doing so.
This time all of these ninjutsu techniques would hit at twice the power. Keimusho's hands weaved the sign Ten, which summoned Fuma Shuriken. He tossed the shuriken towards the mage, aiming towards its left wing. He then weaved the sign Chi, which activated a lighting technique of his own: Raiton. This bolt of lightning too was aimed towards the mage. Finally, as the Fire spell grew closer, he weaved his final sign Jin. The ninja's hand touched the ground, which brought forth a geyser of water that came into contact with the mage's Fire spell.
What separated Keimusho's ninjutsu from a mage's spells was that unlike the mage he did not draw the attacks from his own energy, but rather from the energies of the earth. Though the drawback from this is that he could not continuously use these techniques, it took time before he could use them again. That meant that if this fight had to continue, it was imperative that he close the gap between them. However, that meant leaving the old man's side. Keimusho instead decided the view the aftermath of that exchange before making any further decisions.
This was getting annoying... Again, this man was able to keep up with his spells and again, he was able to take them. However, his plan was flawed... Using the building as a shield for the old man might've been commendable strategy... if this were any other place. The ninja must reap the consequences of his actions and so... his slicing of the house would awaken newer, different beasts. Not only would one Thundara SLAM into the ninja, further scorching his concealing outfit and searing the flesh underneath his efforts to guard the man with a thick piece of dilapidated wooden structure would not ONLY fail to full sheild the old man... but awaken twin worm-like creatures within, both of which lunging RIGHT at the ninja! Each house contained monsters with with more and more of them destroyed, the man only did himself fewer and fewer favors!
The old man was THROWN back from force of the lightning striking his wooden shield, a flaming BURST exploding outward before him as the ancient, ruined wood was consumed by the heat of the spell! he landed HARD on his back, knocked unconscious as his head smacked against the ground, the mage finally feeling some sort of contentment watching that human's broken body finally fail him... Now for the Ninja...
He wondered why he didn't just flee... Take the man and just RUN. Perhaps it was arrogance that kept him here, fighting in a location where every screw-up lead to more monsters joining on the mage's side.
To defend against his fireball, the man summoned a MASSIVE pillar of water from the earth, a wave shooting straight up and quenching the flames faster than they could burn through their barrier... However, the beasts the Ninja had unleashed had no such fear as the BLASTED through the watery prison, their circular-shaped, teeth-filled maws biting wildly at his head, chest and stomach! They starved for his flesh, having never gotten a taste of human meat before now... The Black Waltz was content to let them have him too!
...If they enjoyed a meal served cold...
With a massive FLAP of his wings, Black Waltz 3 re-positioned himself behind the ninja as he dealt with the monsters before him, the mage extending his staff down towards the occupied warrior's back!
"Freeze."
The golem whispered, a huge BLAST of sub-zero winds exploding from the tip of his weapon! everywhere it touched, pillars of ice EXPLODED outwards, encasing anything and everything it touched with no discrimination! If it touched the ninja... it would freeze him just the same, immobilizing movements, silencing his petty spells... leaving him vulnerable to be crushed to shards...

Keimusho quickly realized his error when the two worms aimed for him. That was not mentioning the fact that the figure dodged both the Fuma Shuriken and Raiton. There was no way that Keimusho was going to knock this thing out the air whilst he had to also deal with the monsters and protect the newly unconscious elderly man. He was going to have to take the geezer and run, that was the only way that the elderly man would come out of this alive.
Once the worms charged at him, Keimusho pulled the Thorn of the Monarch from its sheath. As the worms charged at the Au Ra, he would charge an attack of his own as the kodachi glowed a bright blue. Once the beasts grew closer the ninja released his attack: Tenka Goken. The ninja swung the blade releasing an energy wave that sliced the beasts into numerous pieces. He turned quickly to find that the mage has casted yet another spell. The cold wind neared closer, but even if Keimusho would not be weaving mudra signs at the moment that did not mean that he would be void of a ninjutsu technique that wouldn't help in this situation.
Underneath Keimusho's feet appeared a giant red frog, this was the Hellfrog Medium. Before the frog could spit a fireball as it typically does when it is summoned, the spell came into contact with it causing it to freeze in place. The remainder of the spell came into contact with the surrounding houses and the old man, freezing him too. Not that it mattered since he was already frozen by his own unconsciousness anyway. Keimusho slipped off the frog who did not stay frozen for long since it was attuned to the fire element. As soon as it thawed the frog poofed away. Keimusho quickly when the old man and lifted him on his shoulders. His frozen body was obviously cold to the touch, but he wasn't going to stay frozen forever. Keimusho tossed three smokebombs near his feet. "This should buy me enough time for a head start.", the ninja thought. Amidst the smoke he created, the ninja began to run out of the area with the elder on his shoulder.
