II. PERSONA
The one thing Serah cherishes in life is family, her parents died at a young age leaving her, and Lightning to fend for themselves. Lightning chose a different route, while Serah was left alone. While being alone she realized that having family was important, and since she couldn't bare to lose another, her need to help her family close became greater. She would do her utmost best to keep them close, especially Lightning. Although she started to drift away, Serah still made sure to take care of her when sick, fix her meals while at home, and always celebrate her birthday. Her sister is everything to her, she's more than just family, she's the one person she can count on in the world for anything. Even though she has billions of others to count on, Serah knows Lightning is someone who will be there for her. When given enough information she is able to figure out anything, she mostly needs time to think and sort through her thoughts. Once doing so even the craziest of ideas make sense to her, and in the end she's somehow solved a problem. She studied hard while in school during the times of Cocoon, and she studies even harder now, so her smarts really help when it comes to something horribly complicated.
Her constant optimism keeps other happy and for that, several people respect her, she wants happiness for everyone and believes it is possible for all, despite the events that occurred years ago. If she can bring that happiness out with her attitude, then she knows her actions are good. She is capable of encouraging all to keep going for she knows if all were lost, then efforts towards a brighter future would seem like nothing. Even though all seems lost Serah had not seen Lightning for quite some time, she still stayed strong . She did not want others to know of her doubts, and kept up a face for them and herself. If she wavered then her belief in Snow, and Lightning's return would too fade with more time. Serah did not want this, so she vowed to live her life, despite not always standing on her own. She is helpful to those who did not know how to move up. Sure, some people transitioned well, but other defenseless citizens like herself, needed guidance. Nevertheless, she did not just stop there; she kept on help everyone even the people to proud to say so. She practically made it her job to help others, especially once becoming a teacher, one who was nice but could also now stand her ground. resilient; even after falling down, despite a little sadness Serah always keeps going no matter the atmosphere. She has learned from observations, and herself that even if you are knocked back, getting right up makes a person ten times tougher.
Serah is selfish at times, thinking of nothing but the main goal at hand, nothing of the effect it has on others. She is so focused, others are not noticed when shut out, for she cares only for that task. However, this is only on rare occasions with others, other times she will see everyone and tend to them. rash ; When defending or saving those closest, she will not think. She'll once again begin her forgetful ways, and pushy away anyone whose around. She does not do this on purpose exactly, but her instincts kick in causing her to do so. She will protect her family; even if it means her death, she will not hesitate, and sometimes she will even knock people down...but most not often. When coming across disobedient children she becomes strict , taking nonsense from no one. Her message to students with "selective hearing" student is 'You either get yourself together, or get yourself together'. Her students are so terrified from her change that she was dubbed “Meanie Miss Farron”, never to be crossed again. She hopes this allows others to see she is more than just Lightning’s sweet sister is. short-temper ; Even though Serah does have self-control she, still cannot stand nonsense. If seen she will take immediate action and stop kids from fooling. The first time she stops mischief she will give a very firm warning, but the second time is a mystery since majority stop after her scolding.

This info devastates them, but does not stop there for after landing in New Bodhum 700 AF, they finally meet Lightning, and after hearing her idea, Serah theorized Caius's plan to turn the world into Valhalla for Yeul to live in by messing with Cocoon. When you're in a dream, you don't know who you'll meet, or what will happen. At times the dream is reality, and for that one moment you become scared, afraid that the what was once a dream is now reality. How do you tell dream from reality? How do you know if your life is really, real? When Lightning left, when everyone said that she was in the pillar with Fang, and Vanille...Serah couldn't handle it. There were nights where I cried so hard that my eyes became puffy, and red. She was gone from my life, and she knew she should of moved on, but at the same time I could feel something was wrong. The memory she shared was different, it wasn't like the others and so my tears weren't just because Lightning was gone, it was also because she knew deep down inside she was alive and no one else remembered so. No one remembered how happy she was for the long journey to finally be over, but she did. And even though she knew, and didn't want to eat, she didn't want to move. Serah wanted to be alone, with my thoughts, my memories, and my dreams.
When she dreamed she could be with my sister, and in my most sad of times she was my everything. She knew it was wrong to shut others out just for her, but she wanted to see her so much that the night she saw her...I never wanted to awaken again. The surrounding area hadn't come into full focus yet, it was too blurry to tell. "W-What is this place?" She questioned while looking around, each shape she touched formed into something she recognized till eventually everything around her became items from her old home. "Wait, is this...? My old home on Cocoon?!" She turned around in circles and realized each item was an exact replica, right down to the beige colored couch.
"I'm home! I'm home! And If i'm home... that means...!"
Her heart skipped a beat as she rushed into the usual family room. "Light! -" She stopped short, the room was empty, silent, nothing to be seen but the usual television and couch. "Oh, I see... That means this must be a...dream..." She closed her eyes tightly, as she tried to contain the lump in her throat, the feeling that she had hoped would stay out of her way, forever.
