Welcome one and all to our beautiful new skin! This marks the visual era of Adventu 4.0, our 4th and by far best design we've had. 3.0 suited our needs for a very long time, but as things are evolving around the site (and all for the better thanks to all of you), it was time for a new, sleek change. The Resource Site celebrity Pharaoh Leep was the amazing mastermind behind this with minor collaborations from your resident moogle. It's one-of-a-kind and suited specifically for Adventu. Final Fantasy Adventu is a roleplaying forum inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Images on the site are edited by KUPO of FF:A with all source material belonging to their respective artists (i.e. Square Enix, Pixiv Fantasia, etc). The board lyrics are from the Final Fantasy song "Otherworld" composed by Nobuo Uematsu and arranged by The Black Mages II.
The current skin was made by Pharaoh Leap of Pixel Perfect. Outside of that, individual posts and characters belong to their creators, and we claim no ownership to what which is not ours. Thank you for stopping by.
Life is but a passing dream but the death that follows is eternal
So, Aerith wasn’t from Zephon either. Seymour found he wasn’t completely surprised to learn that she was from another world too. He’d heard stories of people in Provo coming from all sorts of strange places and ending up here, much as he and Yuna had been dragged out of Spira. And she didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the Provo citizenry. “No, I’m not from Zephon,” he agreed, though he knew it had to be obvious. He knew he stood out starkly for many reasons, not the least of which was his blue hair. “I’m from a place called Spira. It’s very different from here.” He let a small smile curve his lips. “So far I like Zephon much better,” he said earnestly. He missed just about nothing from Spira. By a chance of fate, his mother’s fayth had even managed to follow him here. So there was really nothing left in Spira that he cared about. He’d be quite happy never returning home again.
“I’ve only been here a few weeks,” he went on. “My arrival was also rather sudden. I’ve not been outside of Provo much, not after I arrived in the Headstone Forest. But I’ve heard about Sonora from some of the people here.” His voice became wistful as he tried to imagine the giant city far to the north. The tales he’d heard made it sound much like Old Zanarkand, back before machina was outlawed. “I want to go see Sonora,” he admitted. “I’ve been told that cities in Spira’s past were much like it, with machina everywhere.” He glanced at the blazing sun. “I also hear it’s much cooler there.” Spira had a very warm climate overall and Seymour was used to the heat, but that didn’t mean he had to enjoy it.

Aerith was pleased that she had been right about him being from another world. His appearance alone stood out quite a bit from the others, if only for the unique way his hair fell. As if it defied gravity in some way--much more than Cloud's ever could! Her lips quirked into an amused smile at the thought. "I'm glad that you're enjoying your time here, then. It can be a new start for some people!" And it seemed that Seymour very much needed that new start. He did not even miss his home all that much with the admittance of preferring Zephon over Spira. She was hardly going to judge him for that. No, some people preferred to start anew far away from where they had led a hard life. [break][break]
Only a few weeks? Similar to herself, then. Aerith wondered how many people were being pulled from their worlds each day. What purpose was it all for? Why her of all people? An endless amount of questions that plagued her mind each and every day. The wistful tone of Seymour's voice caught her attention when he mentioned Sonora. Did he like the idea of a big city? Midgar was quite similar to Sonora and she would not call Midgar majestic by any means. Oh, she loved her home very much. There was an edged beauty to the city and the people that lived there--especially those that lived in the Slums. Life had been difficult but very much worthwhile. [break][break]
"Machina? I'm guessing you mean machines?" Or some sort of word for technology. A thoughtful hum escaped her as she stared at Seymour before rocking back and forth on her feet. He seemed quite capable of caring for himself, but he seemed to be alone in this city. "Why not come back with me to Sonora, if you'd like? I could show you around and try and help you out." The offer was a genuine one because she really did wish to help, but she would hardly force the issue. It had been a spur-of-the-moment type of question after all. Aerith would do her best to aid Seymour if he did agree with her, though.

Aerith used a different word for machina. She called them machines instead. Clearly a very similar word, but Seymour was bothered by the slight difference. He tried to commit the change to memory, so he wouldn’t make the same mistake again. He didn’t want to constantly seem like the outsider in Zephon.
Why not come back with me to Sonora?
She seemed so genuine and kind with the offer. Seymour could only stare at her for a few moments, as he considered. He could certainly take care of himself, especially with Anima’s help. Anima, he suddenly thought. Hopefully the fayth will be fine in the forest. He didn’t think the Headstone Forest was highly traveled, but it still pained him to think of going further away from the last connection he had with his mother. But, she was always with him, to some degree, right? He couldn’t worry himself too much about the fayth in the forest, not if he wanted to live a better life in Zephon than he had in Spira.
Surely he could fight off anything that attacked along the way. But did he really want to travel that far alone and risk getting lost in the wilds of a strange land? He may have never even found Provo without Yuna’s help. Seymour was reluctant to accept so much help from others. He’d always been self-sufficient and needed no one. But Aerith had been nothing but friendly so far. She seemed to genuinely wish to help him, and she was already going to return to Sonora anyway. Seymour truly did want to see Sonora with his own eyes, to see what machines could truly do, instead of just seeing their ruined and rusted corpses.
