Setzer sighed as Celes seemed to take offense to him calling out her actions, his entire thought process brought into question by the most shrewd of his friends.  Sometimes Setzer felt like Celes only wanted to see the worst in people, he hazily remember two instances in the past where the pair had gotten into a rather large debate when Setzer had wanted to make landfall to restock the ships supplies and Celes protested, the other occasion was unimportant just a squabble over how to properly play cards, he had tried to teach Terra and Sabin how to play and to say it went poorly would be an understatement Setzer would never be able to replace the damaged deck of cards, the very deck he had won the Blackjack with.[break][break]

Though one thing stuck in Setzer's mind....what did Celes mean by having found him and him not wanting to take up arms and jump to action, surely he would recall such instances would he not? A soft frown crossed his face as he tried to recall any such times he himself was unable to recall any such times, though he would feel obligated to mention that large chunks of his memory had disappeared since coming to this new land, He was unsure if he had hit his head rather hard and developed amnesia or if something in this land befuddled his memory and made things hazy at best if he tried to recall anything truly important.[break][break]

Setzer's frown changed once again to a smile as Celes agreed to HIS terms, He truly wanted to make things work between them even if it was only as friends, There was a time when he would have tried for something more than friendship but something in the way Celes regarded him told him it would never happen.  It was just as well as even if he did try he doubted she would believe him....just as she seemed so ready to slander his good name over one incident.  "Then we have a deal mon cherie!  It brings me great joy to know that we have struck an agreement so easily.  I look forward to making you eat your words about needing a kick in the pants to get moving~ Within the next few hours a ship should be coming in to harbor with some parts that i simply must acquire for the repairs to the ship, they are important components for trying to repair the engine and the propulsion system." Setzer would say crossing his arms across his chest closing his eyes as he ran through his plans for the rest of the night into the early morning Any repairs done to the ship according to how Setzer had his planned made would take place during the morning and afternoon while the casino was closed, and they would stop two hours prior to the doors opening once more for the night.[break][break]

Setzer broke his pose once Celes started to protest saying that she was more than comfortable on a couch, that she had slept in some rough places as a sodlier, that didn't matter to Setzer, He was a gentleman and he would not abide a woman sleeping on the floor or on a couch if he could help it. "I understand your point Celes mon cherie, HOWEVER it matters not to me whether you have or have not slept on a couch tis mere semantics. It is my personal code as a gentleman and Dashing pilot to allow a woman every comfort i can supply to them, And i simply will not take no for an answer, as you may remember i have slept on the very same couch several times after surrendering my private quarters to either you, Terra, or even the sweet young Relm. As for your experience with machinery beyond Magiteck weaponry matters not in the grand scheme.....I had thought of adding a couple canons to the ship for self defense incase of Ariel attacks, perhaps.....that would be more your area of expertise?" Setzer would say giving her a cheeky smile waggling his index finger at her. This was one thing Setzer would fight Celes tooth and nail over, though he prefered to fight these matters with words....if it came to blows...Setzer had no doubt that Celes would win the day over him as she had better training and he would not raise a hand to sully her beauty, both because of her being a close friend and for the fact that she was a woman.[break][break]

Setzer would clap his hands together as if just remembering something that had been forgotten. "Now....if that is all on the buisiness end for now than i would very much appreciate that drink that we agreed to share, we can drink that one tankard while you catch me up on the events that have transpired since our separation!" Setzer would say a familiar gleam in his eyes, the gleam of curiosity, the one thing that could arguably be called Setzers downfall....alongside a pretty face. Setzer since coming to this new world had refrained from going back to being a phantom thief as he truthfully had no way to pull off his grand heists anymore and instead chose to earn his money in a slightly more honest way, though some part of him missed the rush of being in a place he was not meant to be a secure vault a mansion belonging to a wealthy merchant or business owner though if one asked Setzer what he missed the most, he would answer traveling the skies with his beloved friends.
