Below is a list of notices posted on boards within each major city. Notices serve as plot devices to engage characters into the lore of the original world as well as come up with new ideas for threads! The outlines of the notices are loose and should spark creative ideas for the writer to reach the goal in any way their character would. Each notice has: a background, a location, a difficulty, party/participant number, and a goal. The difficulties are measurements to gauge at minimum how difficult it should be for your character while in-thread (you're always allowed to go beyond the suggested difficulty).

A few brave souls attempted to pass them regardless, the smallest of them - a ten-year-old boy - was taken into the sky and never seen again. It can only be assumed that he became their unfortunate dinner.. The small villages around the World Sight have gathered together to create a Notice to kill these beasts. In return, they offer anything they can afford to give. Lodging for longer-term stays, food, equipment, etc.

On the contrary, a few, such as the now-known blue giant outside of Provo, seemed to want nothing more than to go back to sleep. This massive, rumbling dragon has made its roost within the cool, swampy waters right outside of the city -- and it has the public on edge! The city is looking to hire some brave men and women to wake the giant beast and convince it to move further away from the city. The large dragon, truly only looking to stay comfortable, hasn't been known to attack anyone unless they attack it first.

He needs to round up as many of the chocobos as possible, preferably all of them, in order to perform a routine health check and fit them with tracking collars to monitor herd health and insure that no one takes them from their habitat. He's even got some tamed chocobos you can ride to help him out.

the babies!

In the aftermath of flooding from the Reignstorm, the city of Provo is facing an outbreak of a strange and highly infectious disease. Local doctors are baffled, but think that a group of shamans living just beyond Mount Hotan might be able to help with a magical elixir said to remove impurities and completely heal the recipient. As the death toll in Provo rises, the doctors fear that nothing else could stop the outbreak before it becomes a full-scale epidemic, however, the path through the mountains is dangerous and wrought with monsters, bandits, and even dragons. The doctors are willing to pay an enormous sum of gold for any adventurers able to bring back this elusive elixir -- or even better, one of the shamans themselves.
